The service with Green Power Energy was excellent and I couldnt have been happier. The system looks great on my roof and my home value has increased. The system software is easy to use and the client service team is always available and helpful. The install process was efficient and the installers were very knowledgeable and friendly. The system production was the top I could find and the product warranty has me covered. I would recommend Green Power Energy to any friend or family!

Green Power was excellent to work with. I researched multiple companies and I am happy I chose Green Power. The representative Greg Miller explained everything perfectly and followed up with me even after the system was turned on. The install team was great and the client service office followed up with me and the township to have the system activated during COVID 19. Green Power had the best production value, production guarantee and product warranty.

Customer service after installation is awful, whatever your problem is they have an answer: “it is your fault”. We bought a solar system with battery backup, solar is ok, battery never worked. Their reply: “run to the circuit breakers and switch them off”. Cost of the battery $30.000 a total waste of time and money. Stay far from this company. If you write a negative review on Facebook, they will erase it in the 5 minutes, I am surprised they do not have a 5/5.

I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Green Power Energy. Their quote for my system was very competitive....almost 20% below the next highest bid. The team at GPE gave me personal attention and made me feel like I was their most important customer. I was kept informed of the progress with regard to approval, permits, equipment status and delivery, installation date, etc. GPE took care of all the details and were highly professional. I most strongly recommend Green Power Energy to anyone who is considering going solar.

It went great. GPE was very respectful of my house and property. They were punctual, called to set appointments and followed up. From the initial sales meeting through the final inspection and app set up it was professional and informative. GPE walks you through every step that needs your input and makes sure you are comfortable at every step.

My system was installed about a year ago and I complained within a month that my system was producing way lower than I thought should be regular production. I was promised by the ower (Erik) that system will catch up in summer months and overall production should equal to total promised. We are almost near the one year of installation and I am down by 22+%. Now Eric has started making excuses and and told me that I requested them to change the layout, they sized it correctly and they expected it to be lower. There was no communication from the company that production was suppose to be lower than the initial contract I signed with them. I am evaluating my legal options as I feel completely cheated by this company. Apart from that, they did not even give me a review of the system even once after the project was completed and wanted me to pay in full before the last step of the project was complete.

This was a positive experience. Once I decided to go forward it took about 7 months from my first signature to actually being turned on and generating solar. The elapsed time was really all permit/inspection/power company related. Once each of the milestones was reached, GPE quickly responded. It took about 4 days to put the panels on the roof and one more day to set up the electric. The work was clean. They were flexible when discussing where to run the conduit. Overall the project went very smoothly and so far in November I have generated almost enough to cover my usage!!

When I first began to consider solar I took a step back to look at the big picture. I had a perception, early on, that not all solar was the same, although they are all powered by the same sun. There seemed to be a saturation of companies in the marketplace. I didn’t know who to trust. So I began researching both solar energy and solar companies online. My search was narrowed down to three companies before selecting Green Power Energy. Green Power Energy was a great partner to install solar. The sales process was informative and not pressured. If you have the right home, solar is really something that sells itself. We signed-on to get into the installation pipeline January, 2019. Green Power Energy handles all of the State and Local approvals. I will implore you to stay close to the approval process in the event you have to step in and intercede as the homeowner. I encountered several headaches while attaining approvals from my local township and had to take action. Every single person who I met while my solar system was being installed was exceptional. Also, I did call Green Power Energy several times throughout the process and everyone went above and beyond to make me happy. The installation process completed in July 2019 and I began generating power in September 2019. The overall timeline was much longer than anticipated. I convinced myself that this was in large part based on my local municipality and an influx of solar installations in New Jersey due to upcoming regulations in March 2020. If I had to do it again, I would choose Green Power Energy. Lesson learned is that you will have to learn a lot about the solar process on your own, regardless of the solar installer you choose.

I had an excellent experience from start to finish. Green Power Energy actually installed our Solar Systems ahead of the committed schedule!

I Choose green power energy after I have made my own research and meet with 3 more companies 2 jersey local and 2 nations wide green power came out with very competitive price and give me a update during all prosses from the permit to installation, they don't left any miss behind the job and they pick the phone all the time,the only thing was they said 3 months and toke 51/2 but the quality of the job make the compensation for, I will recommend them to anyone that want to have a good solar system install

From the sales process thru implementation, everyone at the company did an outstanding job - design, paperwork with power company, town permits, installation, ... They met or exceeded my expectations at every turn. Once the Permission to Operate was issued, they turned the system on remotely! WOW. And drone pics were a nice final touch!

I am reposting my positive review for Green Power Energy to shed light on a situation that has left me quite unhappy. In early July the majority of our panels stopped collecting energy. I reached out to the company and did not hear back from them. I reached out again to check in and finally got a response. Four full days passed in the meantime. They encouraged a system reset, which Austin Dow was nice enough to do for us while we were on vacation. The reset, unfortunately, did not work. We had to wait another full week for the company to send out a service tech. All the while, we were not generating energy... Once the service tech finally came, the problem was fixed in MINUTES. Why am I so upset??? I lost out on over 2 weeks of July sunshine. The best weeks of the year so far, honestly. This was our 2nd issue with our inverters. I did not complain the first time. I asked simply to be compensated the price of an SREC which I know we lost out on waiting for the company to respond and send someone to our site. The company refused. I understand that they kept their end of the warranty, but it took an unnecessarily long time for someone to get to our site. If this happens again in the future, who knows how much solar we will miss out on again.

My husband and I chose to go with Green Power Energy for our Solar Panels. We've had them for a few months now, and everything is running as smoothly and wonderfully as Austin Dow explained to us. We are entirely happy with our experience. From the start, everyone in the company was timely, courteous, and reliable. Any questions we had were promptly answered. When it was time for our system to be turned on, Will came over to explain everything about the SREC program, etc. Austin and Will both came into our home and were so kind and good with our daughter. She still talks about them! An excellent crew came to install. Everything I have to say is positive about this company and our experience.

We have gone solar for our home and utilized Green Power Energy’s (GPE) services. Before I get into specifics of our project, we had received estimates from SunRun, Trinity, Vivint, SolarCity and Green Power Energy (GPE). We requested estimates from all the various solar panel system providers, we received the most competitive rates for the same or even better set of panels/inverters and warranty associated with the equipment from Green Power Energy (GPE). Starting from their Sales staff who did an exceptional job in explaining in details every question we asked. We did not ask one or two but 50 plus questions and GPE sales staff responded including all the details requested with patience. Their response and estimates prompted 20 of our friends go to solar with GPE. What sets them apart based on firsthand experience is that GPE sales staff were patient in answering questions to the customers satisfaction rather than answering it for the sake of getting the business. After contract was signed, GPE back office took care of the permits and all the other formalities to make it as painless for the customers and information flow to customers was consistent at every step of the process. Our contract was signed in September 2018. There are many reasons where customers don’t understand that this project is not that one presses a button and panels are installed and turned ON. Utility and township approvals are required and are the biggest bottlenecks as it is beyond anyone’s control. In addition to waiting game for required permits, weather also played a spoilsport on many days in fall 2018 otherwise panels could have been installed a lot earlier than they were. Despite all this GPE installed all the brackets, railings and frames before the end of 2018, last week of December in subzero temperatures. After township and utility’s final approval, our system was turned ON without any delay. I would like to recognize that GPE field crew including electricians, foreman and panel installation crew are extremely professional and thorough. They were very good in answering every question along the way and providing details of advantages and disadvantages regarding installing the conduits and the inverter (inside or outside the house), leaving totally up to customers to decide irrespective of the amount of work associated with each option varied significantly for them. Key is honesty from GPE’s field installation crew. Every home owner’s concern is how the panels would look and if the conduit is exposed it would make the aesthetics of the house roof unfavorable. GPE crew asks the customers how one would like to run the conduit and in our case, the front elevation of the house, conduit was exposed outside and after requesting to correct the situation to GPEs upper management (Mike S./ Eric D.), they immediately requested field crew to run the conduit from our attic. Now the panels look like they are wireless panels:-)). We don’t have attic throughout the house and we can’t run all the conduit from inside the house. However, GPE crew has done an exceptional job in installing the conduit in a way that it is not visible as it’s installed at the edge of the roof and the edge of siding of the house where it is invisible and through attic where it’s available. Our system is turned ON. We are very excited to go SOLAR and thankful for excellent experience and service from GPEs sales, design, back office staff responsible for scheduling, upper management and most importantly their field crew including foreman (Jessy/Logan) and electrician (sorry forgot his name). I am naming names because field crew are like soldiers and on the front line and they must get the due credit for their outstanding work as field folks are the one who put the food on the table for any company. A company can have the best sales pitch but if the field or installation crew does not walk the talk, business can’t grow. Thanks again for field crews hard work. System is turned ON and I could track everything including overall energy production by day/week/month on SolarEdge app. First five years of monitoring is covered as part of the contract through GSM. Solar Edge app also allows user to check the health of each panel. It has been pleasure doing business with GPE. Hoping we will receive the best service going forward also if in any case there are any issues with energy production associated with panels or inverter.

I had gotten a bunch of quotes but I’m glad I decided to go with GPE after reading the reviews on multiple sites. They installed a 8.96 kW PV system on my roof. They were very responsive throughout the entire process. Inspection went smoothly. They even installed critter guards to prevent squirrels from nesting under the panels. Extremely happy with them. Highly recommended. I haven’t had a single electric bill since I had my PV turned on.

Wanted to go solar, and after doing a lot of research, interviewing sales people and getting quotes from EnergySage, we went with GPE. Bought our system outright. Salesperson (Luis) was knowledgeable and answered all my questions on the spot. Price was not the lowest, but close, very competitive for the product and service offered. I tend to be very critical, and as an engineer, I do my technical due diligence. Scheduling and installation happened later than I hoped. We signed our contract end of June and went "live" 4 months later. I was unaware of the process, but GPE explained and was available anytime I poked at them for a status update. We had a scheduling snafu that caused a couple week delay in our install, but at the end of the day, we are very happy with the tech and hardware offered, and the people. Would recommend to anyone looking for an install.

Very helpful and professional. Tony walked us through the entire process, step-by-step. There was a little SNAFU with permits and applications which set us back some time, but that was only an inconvenience and not a disaster. Installation was quick and they did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. Their installation team is top notch.

I had a great experience with Green Power Energy. Tim DeSevo and the company were very helpful and professional. The process took some time ( not just because of company)but now the process is complete and panels were just turned on. Great customer service.

The whole Green Power Energy team were tremendous from start to finish. Tim, Mike and Will have been very responsive to all my questions during and even after the system has been installed. Will emailed different proposals even before meeting with us and wasn’t your typical pushy salesperson. He was very knowledgeable, patient, presented many options and helped us from beginning to end. The team who installed the panels were hard working, friendly, courteous, and always cleaned up each day and were very professional. Kevin Marceski, Solar Designer, for Green Power had someone install guards around the panels to keep the squirrels from chewing the wires. It was a benefit working with a local installer.
