They were very quick and reasonably priced.

The job was very professionally done. It was very neat, careful attention to detail. They installed good quality shut-off valves on the water softener. They also noted that the water pressure in my house was too strong for the water softener and recommended that I install a valve that would reduce the pressure, a pressure reduction valve, which they did do and that has worked up fine. The price was fair. I cannot remember exactly what it was. It was a very professional job. I was extremely pleased with their work and I would recommend them. They were right on time. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Our upstairs bathroom toilet was leaking down onto the ceiling of the downstairs bathroom - we thought it was the sewer pipe, but the tech found it was just the seal around the toilet. We called Monday and they had someone come out Tuesday to give an estimate (we said it wasn't an emergency). The tech was on time, friendly, and professional. He unfortunately had to cut a hole in the downstairs ceiling to determine whether it was the pipe itself, since that's what we had feared, but he made it as small as possible in order to check. Once he determined it was the toilet itself, he got the job done right then so we didn't have to set up another service call. Shortly after he left, we found that in repairing the toilet seal, the line leading to the tank had apparently come loose and was dripping. I called Backlund and they sent the tech back out quickly. He replaced the line and apologized for not thinking about rechecking it, and there was no additional charge, even for the part. A nice change from the company we previously had used! He was here for about 2 hours and the charge was $160, which is very reasonable for plumbers these days.

Scott was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, fast and left no negative signs that he was here. I now have a water heater that doesn't drip, a pipe that no longer leaks in the basement and an outside faucet that froze up last winter working again. All this work done in 1.5 hours, parts and labor $240. I could not have asked for more value for my money.

They were prompt, came the same day I called them. They arrived when they said they would. Cleaned out the drains as requested. I felt the price was reasonable. I was very satisfied with my experience with this company. I would definitely use them again.

They have been very good, and they did a good job. They were punctual, and we were satisfied with everything they did. They were average price wise. We weren’t unsatisfied with the price because what they did was not a time consuming work.

Went well. Fixed leak in the shower, but then didn't attach the knob right to get hot water. Came back the next day to fix that.

For about 3 hours of work he solved a handful of problems and we were thrilled. Rod was professional and polite, patient as we asked questions and asked him to do more things. He and Backlund were great.

I have used Backlund Plumbing twice. First, MUD requested replacement of the water meter but the whole house shut off valve was frozen. One local company that I called told me they "wouldn't touch it but Backlund would". So I called Backlund. Backlund was very responsive and professional. An appointment was promptly scheduled and the plumber was on time. He was able to replace the valve by freezing the pipe below without incident. While waiting for the pipe to be ready, he also hooked up my washing machine and taught me how to winterize my pipes in an unfinished basement store room. Wow! On the second occasion, I discovered a dripping leak in my basement ceiling; I wasn't sure where it was coming from. I called on a Monday morning and they sent a plumber out within an hour. He determined it was a leaking toilet and repaired the problem. He also helped me with an outdoor spigot that was problematic. Overall, the copmany has been responsive, professional and very helpful. I will call this company again for future plumbing needs.

They did a great job. They helped me decided which water heater that I needed. They came out the same day that I called. They laid plastic all through my house so that they wouldn't make a mess. The guy even vacuumed my floors. The job was completed very fast. I would recommend them to anyone.

The trip charge was 90.00. Two men came on the appointment. They offered to do a smoke test to check for leaks. I was advised to use active bacteria crystals in my shower drain to get rid of a smell that was present first thing in the morning. I purchased some at Lowe's and voila! it took care of the problem.

Those guys were good. There was another outfit that told me running from the house to the street there was a low spot and that would be why it was draining. So, the guy with Backlund brings a camera from his truck and put a camera in the drain and the other outfit charged me $150.00 just to see the sewer while Blacklund did it for nothing. Blacklund let me up on the roof and I got to watch the snake go down to the street and there were no drains no low spots or nothing. I was overjoyed because the other guy wanted so much. Blacklund said I had a plug, snacked it out and they were A+.

Went well. Gentleman on phone was cordial and took the time to listen to my story and questions. Gave me a few options. Was explicit about price ($90.00 hr plus materials, 1 hr minimum once work starts). Scheduled for next day. Plumber was on time. Went right to work. I was worried the old drain valve was not going to come out but eventually it did. Plumber was respectful. Will recommend this company and use them in the future.

These guys are amazing. We went to our rental property in Omaha on a Sunday morning (which was unoccupied at the time) and found a leak. We called and in less than an hour after leaving a message, they returned our call and the plumber came. It was his WEDDING ANNIVERSARY and he was so great...super prompt, didn't leave until it was all fixed, and showed us where the piping wasn't up to code. The following Monday, we requested that another plumber come to help us with a clog and with some water pressure issues, plus a running toilet, and the need to install a new sink/cabinet combo with all the necessary fixtures. Two plumbers came to the house and I literally handed each of them a list of plumbing issues or worries I had. We all had a good laugh about honey-do lists, they compared notes and went to work. All the work was really well done, they were very efficient and so nice and polite. Really top notch professionals over at Backlund plumbing. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I was satisfied with their professionalism as well as the knowledge and efficiency of the particular plumber who came out. They cleaned up after themselves and I will use them again in the future.

A branch to my main line was plugged causing water to come up through the floor drain in the basement. Sean was extremely professional and polite, diagnosed the problem, fixed it and was done in an hour. I had previously had another plumbing company in town tell me I needed extensive work that would cost approximately $800! Guess who I'll never call again. Backlund will be my go to plumber from here on out.

He was fast and he cleaned up everything. Did a very good job.

Every time they have been pretty prompt. They come when they when they say they are going to come. They give you an estimate and it is pretty close to their estimate when they get done. That is what I like about them. I would recommend them. You get a different person every time they come and usually they are pretty good. If something happened on a weekend, on a Sunday, you can call them. They have a team that comes out on weekends. That is one thing I really like about them and you don’t have to sit and wait for Monday or Tuesday. The charge might be a little more on a weekend but that is to be expected.

We didn’t have a good experience with them. The timeliness was very bad. The service was closed the first time, but they had to come back several times. They were slow in getting parts. They were also slow in coming out and fixing the problem. We spent about $500 for their services. They gave an estimate first, but they didn’t stick to that estimate. They gave us an estimated amount of time to finish the project, but they didn’t show up when they said they would. Their price was high. They were pleasant enough, but they just didn’t get the work done. So, we brought in another plumber.

it went very well - very punctual, courteous, efficient, did a great job - my husband worked with him - the plumber told him some of the parts my husband had used on the kitchen sink drain were incorrect so the plumber replaced them

The estimator was on time and polite. If you are not strapped for low bid these folks are known to do good work.

They had to order the bath tub and the surround for us and it took nearly five or six weeks after the estimate and before that came in. They came right away for the estimate; so they were prompt on that. The fact that they had to order was not their issue but the issue was with the layout of the house. We ended up calling them back to see if it had come in and we found that it had, but it was still with the distributor so I don’t know if it has been there for any length of time. It took about as long as they said it would for it to come in. They scheduled it right away and got right out here. We had someone expected as we had mold underneath the old bath tub; so we had to get rid of it. That was unexpected. So it took longer for it to be installed but that was not their issue. It came in, it looks good and we are happy with it. The workers that came out were very nice, and they did good work. The only drawback I would say is that they don’t do drywall too. We came to know about this only upfront; so they had to cut dry wall out but then we had to find a dry wall guy on our own. If they were to broaden their expertise and include dry wall work that would be great. In terms of punctuality, he called and was here earlier than planned. We would use them in the future.

Excellent job. It's important to call for an appointment well ahead of the deadline given by the utility company as this seems to be a specialized skill, and not all the technicians can perform it. I was scheduled for a week or so after I called. The tech came at the time I expected, knew what he was doing, got right at it and was quickly done since my backflow preventer was working properly. I had complete confidence that if there had been any problems he would have been able to efficiently fix them.
