The final outcome was great, my cat looked and felt better. However this was my first time going to this groomer: I was not greeting when I arrived, even though there was a groomer 10 feet from me, so I stood awkwardly with my cat in a carrier. Another person came from the house so I started talking to her at which time the groomer snapped off the dryer she was using. I don't know if she was having a bad day or she didn't want my business but she was pretty snarky to me. When I picked up my cat she said he was a bit difficult, to which I profusely apologized for. She than started quizzing me about my cat, fur length, how much he eats etc. If it wasn't for the fact she made me feel humiliated with each and every snarky response (and it wasn't because of her concern for my cat, it was directed at me because no matter what answer I gave, it was wrong even the ones coming from my vet) I would have gone back because she did such a fantastic job on my cat. A simple "Hi, I will be right with you" when I walked in would have gone a very long way . Unfortunately, I will not be going back. Any feedback from my review that somehow makes this sound like it is my fault, is unwarranted.

Everyone at this vet are super friendly and take a genuine interest in your pet. Put that together with the best healthcare and name brand medications and foods and we believe they are the best selection for a vet offering complete care. All at EXTREMELY fair pricing.

They bathe him. They cut his hair because he's a no shedding dog, so they cut his hair. They trim his ears, trim the hair on his face. They cut his toenails. They massage his little feet. Then, they grind his toenails, so they're not rough.I liked the attentiveness that they give to my pet. They always have something to say when I pick him up like he did a good job, he got spill, or we like having him here. They really seem to like pets. They require appointments. I think I've only had one time that they had to reschedule my appointment because someone was ill and that's totally understandable.

I had hoped that these clumps could be trimmed off. Instead, I returned to find that I now had a dog with evenly short hair. Randy was happy when I picked him up and seemed to enjoy his experience.

The site was a bit unconventional and rustic but good quality work. My dog Beau, looked good and he seemed relaxed when he was done.

  • Antelope Creek Veterinary Clinic
The staff and doctors are extremely professional and competent. The office is clean, and someone is always at the door to greet you promptly. The doctors are very well trained -- even in rare abnormalities. My dog needed to have a salivary gland removed, and they were excellent at diagnosing the problem and then providing the surgery. It's easy to tell they know what they're doing, and they're very gentle with the animals and patient with explaining the condition and aftercare instructions. When I found a stray dog, I stopped at another vet (NOT AT Antelope Creek Veterinary Healthcare Center) to see if she was microchipped -- while I was there, I asked if she was pregnant. That vet told me she had 2 lumps in her abdomen that did not feel like a fetus. The next day, I went to Antelope Creek Veterinary Healthcare Center and Dr. Terhune said she was definitely pregnant and would give birth within the next few days. He was right! He gave me all the information I would need to help her through the delivery and the following few weeks. I took the pup in the day she was born, and he made sure she was healthy. That experience solidified my opinion that the doctors at Antelope Creek Veterinary Healthcare Center are better trained than some others in Lincoln. The services are a bit pricey, but it's worth it to get the appropriate care for your dog -- You'll rest assured your dog is well taken care of and no healthcare problems are being overlooked.

  • Wachal Pet Health Center
I took my dog to Wachal Pet Health Center to have her groomed. She does not enjoying being groomed and it had been some time since we have had it done. I told the staff there that she had several small growths when I took her in and mentioned one under her ear that was especially troublesome as it had been nicked by her former groomer. Someone called me shortly after I dropped her off to let me know that they had the time that day to remove the mass under her ear if we wanted them to ... the price was right so I told them to go ahead and do it. They called a bit later and asked if she had ever had a "dental." As she is eight years old and never had one, I asked them to please go ahead and do that as well. By doing the dental at the time of the growth removal, I saved the cost of anesthesia for just the dental so that was a bonus! When I picked her up later that afternoon, she looked great. The doctor advised us that she removed a large growth on her side for a nominal fee (which I was very pleased with ... the growth had always bothered me!). She also went over the pre-surgery bloodwork and recommended we bring her back in three or six months from now to recheck as some of the levels were a little high. I got the impression that the staff at Wachal's really cares about animals and wants to do what is best for them. All in all, it was a very good experience for me and my dog and I highly recommended Wachal Pet Health Center to anyone in need of veterinarian/grooming services!

  • Dog Gone Gorgeous
Let me first say that Kerry is outstanding. She LOVES animals and treats them like they were own. She is an amazing groomer, my dogs have never looked so good. I dropped my shaggy dogs off at 8:30 and was told that they would be done at 11:30. I got a call at 11:30 on the dot to say the pups were ready. When I got there, they we prancing around and happy little campers. They looked absolutely fantastic. I have used several groomers in town trying to find the right one. I am no officially done looking. I will be a loyal client to Dog Gone Gorgeous. Not only was the service off the charts, but the price was unbelievable compared to what I payed at other places. I paid 30.00 per dog. I have never had that kind of price coupled with the kind of quality. I highly recommend Kerry and her business, Dog Gone Gorgeous. If I could give them and A+ I would.
