Bobby York provides good quality work for a reasonable price. The only issue we had was that the project was a few days later than promised because of a health issue, but Bobby does all the work himself (with his two sons), and with such a small outfit, such delays are sometimes unavoidable. We had to delay our move-in, but that also gave our floors longer to cure. The end result looks beautiful, much better than what we started with. The previous homeowners had a larger hardwood retailer do the floors 5 years earlier, and Bobby did a much better job and corrected many of the imperfections from the previous refinishing. Bobby's work is not the highest quality (as he admits), but that costs a lot more. He also stands by his work and helps with later retouching and repairs. We definitely recommend Bobby for oil-based refinishing. He doesn't work with water-based finishes, and for us, that was good because we prefer the oil-based look.

Bobby York and his two sons were very professional in every aspect of the job. I will recommend them to friends. My floors are beautiful.
