VacuumCenterThese guys are the best, fixed my mielle vacuum quickly, found a fault in the filter I was sold (by another dealer) and gave me a break on the new bags! Very professional, quick and did not try to sell me another machine-just tuned up my old machine so it runs like new! Nice honest people at this store! I will be back and recommend them to ally friends!!!!- Pat B.

SearsEvery time we had a different repairman depending on what appliance it was, and we had a drier and refrigerator, and they were very polite. They came when they were supposed to and cleaned up after themselves. The only complaint I had was they didn't have enough service men and so I had to wait a while to get them; they did tell me that they were trying to hire some new people because they had more calls than they had people for. I would definitely use them again in the future.- Lou J.

SearsSome delays in getting the correct parts, but ultimately completed satisfactorily.- James N.

SearsThe local store was great, but the service from the service dept was terrible. It took over three weeks for the repair. Then it was only done when we contacted the local Sears store. Once they were contacted they followed up untill we got the repaired saw.- Charlotte J.

VACUUM CLEANER HOSPITAL/CENTRAL VACUUM EXPERTSI have a second home in Chapel Hill and I read yelp reviews for this business and brought my Rainbow Vacuum in for repair. A young man took my vacuum, asked me what the problem was, I stated "it smells like the motor is burning," he held the vacuum up to an opening to the back repair area, asked a technician about the vacuum, the technician stated needs a new motor $500. Well, I was blown away! They never even plugged it in to determine if I was correct. I said how do you even know if it is the motor without plugging it in first? They then tried to scramble by trying to find an outlet, but the outlets near the counter were not working. I said just give my vacuum. Then I heard the technician mumble I can take her $39.95 just to tell her the same thing! As I took my vacuum, a woman came out she was pleasant and tried to explain that the technician knows his business and my vacuum does not have any belts, so the smell must be from the motor, besides you vacuum must be at least 20 years old. I left disillusioned. I am not a vacuum specialist, but I would have at least thought you might want to smell what I was smelling before making any conclusions. Long story short, I took the vacuum home, gave it a real good cleaning, and the smell is gone. So would I recommend this business, NO, which is sad, since I strongly believe in supporting small local businesses.- Susan M.

SearsAwful experience with manager. He really didn't care if my high dollar vacuum worked or not. Refused to allow exchange.- Sherry A.

Spike's Vac ShopWe finally got the vacuum back & it worked 2 times & now doesn't work again. He said it fix it for free this time. It cost us $85.00 & no detailed bill of what he fixed....so what exactly did he do? Did he really fix it? My guess is not!- Kimberly K.
