You definitely need to get a written estimate . I've been a customer for 4 yrs and didn't feel I needed to. Cost-$4.00 a bail. Bargain ? Wrong. $55.00 per man hour .Time is calculated by the time it took the guys to load the pinestraw onto their truck, travel to my residence and spread the straw. This of course includes cleaning up pine bail strings,tucking along a bed etc...

I had them trim a really massive hedge, about 16 feet high, clean up shrubbery, cut some branches off a tree. They do an excellent job. I've seen the houses in the neighborhood that they maintain on a monthly basis. They do that, keep the house lawns and so on. They're very professional. They did the heavy duty stuff. I keep after the flower beds and the planting and the digging myself, but to have a crew of six guys come in, with a truck to take everything away and all of that get done in a few hours, that is wonderful. The cost goes up a little every year, with the cost of everything. They were here for hours. They took two huge dump truck loads of hedge we had dug out, everything they cut and tree branches. They are a very good company.

They are exceptional. That's a big cost and a big danger if somebody screws up and over sprays on to a neighbor's property. Heaven help you, you can ruin their well water. You just have to know what you're doing when you're doing something like that.

They come out as needed. They've done a bunch of things. I've been using them for years. They've done massive hedges for us, they've done lots of things. It is very difficult to find a company that is not only licensed to handle chemicals for your property, for your plants, yard, acreage, but that knows what the heck they're doing and Southern Landscape does. They are very thorough in researching the available products and what would be best and how to apply it and more importantly, what not to apply. We had $10,000 of newly installed landscaping that was killed by an idiot, a licensed could-care-less idiot and that's where I found Southern Landscape Group. They know what they're doing, they research, they're very careful in their application. Their crews are thoroughly trained, polite and professional. I have had many an occurrence to use them and when we do use them because it's a lot of acreage, it's a lot of money. I highly recommend them. They are unusually good.

Billy was friendly and professional, and we have signed a service contract for 2015. When the initial cleanup and treatment are performed, I will follow up, but am very pleased so far.

Never signed contract because over and over again when they was suppose to fix sprinkler system they did not.. you could not speek to the works because they did not understand you. They did not finish flower beds. Not happy with them at all. To top it all
off after we cancelled contract they sent a $8000.00 bill.

All as recommended by them. There was worsening of our lawn, missed fertilization, lots of lawn weeds and moss; and an overall lack of communication and interest in our account even after we communicated our concerns with the account and our lawn.

The Southern Landscape Group were here on Monday. They come once a week. So far, we're very happy with them, but we've only been using them for two visits so far. The owner has been really nice. There's so much rain that it's hard to tell if they're going to be consistent. They weren't able to come for a whole week because of rain. We're in the beginning stages right now. Our previous guy was a little less expensive, but this company seems more reputable.

I've worked with several yard maintenance companies since 2007 and TSLG is by far the most professional I've dealt with. The Agreement is very thorough and specific on the work to be done: tree & shrub care, irrigation monitoring, weed control/removal, cleanup and removal of leaf/pinestraw, plant debris, sticks, cones, etc.
We're working on a separate agreement with TSLG for landscaping. Having the grounds maintenance agreement in place gives us a ten-year warranty on the trees, shrubs, etc that they install.

Sketch drawings at beginning of project on the redesign. The finished product is beautiful. We tripled our outdoor showroom space, and created a beautiful patio to showcase furniture. The design also included landscaping. The entire project enhances our building while allowing a more pleasing way to show furniture.
This project also included a beautiful aluminum 4ft. fence and lighting.

They take care of all aspects related to the landscape and irrigation. They care for everything; routine maintenance, weed control, shrub trimming, annual flower installation and removal. We have an annual contract. I couldn't be happier with them. I would rate them very highly on quality, dependably, and value.

We’ve had been using them for the past five years, and their service has been great overall. They’ve been very dependable, knowledgeable, and take care of all of our landscaping needs. However, they raised their price to us beyond what we felt the services were worth. We terminated them.

TSLG designed a beautiful landscape for our back porch area that overlooks a golf course. They were prompt with their service while mindful of the environment. Their careful consideration of various shrubs, flowers, trees down to the mulch to ensure success in our area was impressive. They're experts right down to the soil. The approved landscape sketch was not deviated from nor was the agreed price. They delivered.

They are exceedingly professional and beyond competent. We use them in the spring and the fall. They do not throw chemicals around haphazardly. They research everything very thoroughly. They are precise in their application. They are prompt and they do the work that they promise. They meet the prices that they have stated. They are efficient and they are respectful of my property. They have been very well trained in pruning and applications. They clean-up; I could not rate them any higher. I gained a lot of confidence in them. They are competitive price wise.
