I'm a repeat customer of Evans Electric. Matt and team did all the electrical work 4 years ago when we finished our basement. Fast forward to Nov. 2023, Matt and team did some electrical work for our kitchen reno, plus recessed lights/switches for bathrooms and office. Matt initially came for consultation and estimate (came by on time), provided various options as though it was his house. I always appreciate different perspectives and the conversation that is "if I were you, I would..." or "have you thought about..." This week, Matt and Tim came for the work, and can't say enough about how great the work is, their professionalism, and attention to detail. Looks great! Great communicator, I knew what they were going to do, what was expected. Matt, Tim, thank you for your work! Will definitely use Evans Electric again, and refer my friends to them as well.

Matt is great to work with. He was very consultative on the various projects we had. We're very happy with the results and will use Evans again for future projects.

Evans Electric was very responsive, which is becoming rare for most service providers. We had a 61 yo fuse panel that was a fire hazard and was replaced with a circuit breaker panel. Matt was quick to provide a quote and scheduled the service for the same week. He came on time and finished the job much quicker than we expected. Definitely five star service.

They were great. But he's moved to North Carolina. They were clean, they were kind, they helped out as a matter of fact I tried to call them again and that's when I find out that they had moved to North Carolina he had sold the business.

Had to put wood around it to fit right.  Overall went well.  Just had to paint the wood afterwards.

They came out on time and did a great job with replacing my electric panel. The price was very reasonable.

He was fabulous. I will use him again. He is quick. He did everything that time. He did great work. He managed to get almost all. He only missed one plug during that time period. He was able to hang all three fans which were awkward angle because I have sloping roof. I was impressed. I had him for two-hours and he got a lot done. He did not charge me more. He said that we would prioritize and he would get what he could do done. He got almost all of it. The ceiling fans were big and a bunch of little things. My ceiling fans were old and they did not have lights on them so I bought new ones. He was great. He understood that I did not have any more money so he got we could get done and gave me tips on how to do other things like the plugs myself which I did not do without my brother, but we got it done.

It went very well.  Due to some problems with kitchen appliances not working properly due to bad circuit breakers and knowing the electrical panel is about 30 years old, I thought it was time for the  panel to be replaced and possibly upgraded. 

Matt checked the panel, determined a complete panel replacement was not needed, only replacing all circuit breakers.  Some of the installed breakers were failing.

The work was done quickly and professionally.  Matt spent time as he worked telling me what he was doing and answered my many questions.

I especially appreciated his evaluation of our electrical power needs.  Based on our electric power usage now and in the future, he said we did not need to increase the amperage of the panel. 

Since the work was done, all kitchen appliances are now working properly.

This ended up being a two-day job. What others had done before (not from Angie's List) and our own DIY efforts, had to be reworked and corrected. This included rewiring, routing with new conduit, and solving the issue of lights not working, fan going on and off on it's own, and breakers misfiring. Matt was responsive and professional. Will definitely call on Matt again for any and all electrical work.

Excellent service from initial estimate to final work.  Matt and his crew were professional, on-time, respectful of our property, careful with our indoor-only cats (not letting them out), and did an excellent job on all of the electrical work.  They went "above-and-beyond" in many ways. Our house was built in the 1950's and has some "funky" electric work.  Matt was creative in solving problems and safety issues while staying within our budget.
We highly recommend them, and we will use them again.
