I have 6 dining room chairs 50+ yo, the woven rush seats were worn and broken. Y&J did an absolutely excellent job re-weaving all 6. I found one place cheaper, but it was somebody doing it as a side job, and booked out 18 months in advance. Y&J does this full time and has a full facility. They took about 5 weeks, which is reasonable to me, besides, the house is in the middle of renovations, so time was not an issue. They do have a truck and will pick up, but I have a pickup and it was quicker to bring the chairs to them and pick them up. I also saw some of the restorations they had done that were waiting to be picked up or delivered, and they looked great. If I have any more restorations to be done, they will be my go-to.

I've attached the before and after pictures of my empire desk restoration to show just what a fantastic job they've done. I couldn't imagine being happier with their work. Their invoice said there would be "inevitable signs of repair to some degree" but honestly my mom's desk looks brand new, and it's probably over 100 years old. Everyone I've spoken to and worked with has been incredibly professional and polite, and they finished my project 10 days earlier than planned without any sort of rush fee. If I ever have to restore a piece of furniture again, I'll definitely be calling Y & J.

We are very happy. After I spoke to Jared on the phone, we set up an appointment. He came right on time, we spoke about our project and Jared left 4 books of samples and gave us a week to decide. He was very patient, didn't call to see what we decided. so after 5 days we called with our selection of the fabric and set up another appointment for picking our chairs. The gentleman who came for the chairs was also right on time and very polite and professional. Hi took only our seats, said that it would take between 7 - 10 days to bring them back. It didn't take that long and when the seats were delivered, we were really happy. They are beautiful, and well done. We will definitely go back when we need any other services the company provides.

Y & J Furniture Co., Inc. are very good. They are very knowledgeable. They explain the problem, fix and it stays fixed. Their customer service is great. He has great knowledge of the furniture. He does what he says he is going to do and he does it in a timely fashion.

He is very good.  He was upfront about the repairs and pointed out repairs that would need to be done on other furniture also.  He wasn't crazy expensive.  He makes appointments which was nice as I was the only one he was dealing with.

He did great work and got it done on time like he said he would. He was very reasonably priced.

Outstanding workmanship! Quality is wonderful in every respect. The only downsides are that the final cost grew from initial estimate to final estimate by over $100 and the completion date slipped two weeks every time I called to inquire. I would definitely use them again, especially for refinishing of complicated items - - their workshop shows amazing work - - but just be sure you are not in a hurry for completion.
