Scope of work was followed to the T. Chris (Owner) went out of his way to facilitate all aspects of service and was a refreshing individual who made the whole experience smooth as it could possibly be.

Good service. Overall happy with job. Had a manufacturer issue with the flooring and Chris dealt with the distributor and it was all replaced at the manufacturers expense. I did feel that the flooring sub-contractors should have noticed the problems with the wood.

The entire project went very smoothly, from contacting Chris, getting estimates and all the way to completion. All workers were very nice and proffessional. Arrived on time and did a great job of cleaning up. We would definitely use them again.

Other potential installers would have done it cheaper, but wanted to use plastic in the enclosure. CA Construction recommended against plastic enclosures for a wall oven. I appreciate their concern for safety and quick response. It was very difficult to get anyone to do. Even GE, to whom we paid $150 to deliver and install could not get anyone to perform the install.

They did some preliminary work at the end of May.  On June 10, I asked when they would be out to finish the work. The response was soon and they would let me know. July 1, I had not heard anything.  I contacted them and they came July 10 to complete the work.  They used paint I had leftover from the original paint job.  They did not tell me there was rust in the paint and still used it.  There are rust pieces on my bathroom walls.

His man did an excellent job.

I contacted Mr. Allen and he came to my office the next day. We walked all the units that needed repairs and/or full paint. He asked me how soon I needed the work done and told me he would email me the estimates that evening. I received the estimates as promised and emailed the e signed acceptance. Mr. Allen then called me to schedule the work, making sure to ask what days and hours would be good for me. I can definitely appreciate that as the work was being done at an occupied apartment complex. The guys arrived as scheduled and we walked the units and checked the inventory of supplies needed to make sure they were ready to go! Within 24 hours the subfloor, VCT floor tile and rubber base in the water damaged unit in addition to two one bedroom units that had full paint e.g.(trim,walls) were done! AWESOME! The guys were very professional and called to give me status updates each day upon completion!! As the saying goes...YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET!!

Good work, good price, but job took longer than expected.  Crew was very nice and accomodating.

Chris Allen subcontracted a painter named Kristy who did an excellent job. She was reliable, fast, accurate, neat, and friendly. A little pricey, but worth it!

Chris Allen is honest, dedicated, and a great contractor to work with. Despite balancing multiple jobs, he was attentive to my needs and responded quickly by telephone and email. He manages his own crew and contracts for other work (laying footers around house for brickwork, actually contracting/overseeing bricklayers, etc). His crew is very professional and courteous and were a pleasure to have around the house for two weeks.
When questioned about some defects in the work 6 months later, Chris came out promptly and ensured that corrections were completed.
I heartily recommend using Chris Allen and his construction staff.

I did have some miscommunications with them but in the end, everything got done that I wanted. Their subcontractor did the hardwood floors. They did a good job with the floors. They also had a subcontractor do drywall and we had to have them come back to fix it. I thought it was fairly expensive for the painting.

One nail was left sticking out of one of the columns. A split board caused by a screw was not replaced. A hole was left by one of the dormers, but was quickly repaired when they were notified.
I asked for a quote on some additional work, but the company has not responded. These are small jobs, and I understand not all contractors like to them.

But all of this was minor and the job was completed promptly once they got to our house and we were pleased with the quality of the services they provided. I plan to have them back in the future to complete other work.

They did a great job and gave me good advice and guidance on this project. The kitchen remodel included: new custom cabinets upper and lower, new ceiling, repaired some electrical issues, drywall, stained my concrete floors in kitchen, dinning room, and entryway and laundry room, painted cabinets, painted wall, painted in kitchen, dinning room, entry way and laundry room and hall; Replaced a door, light fixtures, sockets, door knobs, I bought the appliances and counter tops and they were there to install or supervise installation. I bought my back splash and they installed that. There were one or two minor issues after the work was done but they cam ASAP to correct the problems. My kitchen looks wonderful a real transformation. As funds come available I will have them continue to use them to get the rest of my home looking as great as my kitchen and dinning room.

Chris is a great person to deal with. He gave a fair estimate of the cost of the work to be done & was extremely flexible when I added more for them to do. I explained that it needed to be completed in a very short time frame & he said it would be no problem. It wasn't - he was true to his word. He & his crew were punctual & performed the work efficiently & the quality is excellent. The crew were very courteous & hard working - a great bunch of people! I highly recommend CA Construction to anyone needing work performed. Chris is as good as they come & very knowledgeable. If there's something out of their scope of experience, he can recommend other contractors to perform this work.

The team always arrives on time.  They work tirelessly and keep coming back until the work is completed. Respectful of my property for the most part, and clean up after work is complete each day. Always willing to provide a detailed estimate of cost and stand behind the work.  Prices are very reasonable. We will continue to work with Chris Allen and his team.

We had prompt service, always friendly and accommodating. They are a smaller outfit, but they do their work right. Never impatient or unwilling to take a look at anything I might bring up. Knowledgeable and willing to learn about anything I may suggest from a new walk in tub for my father to a stainless steel intake grate for the kitchen. Some of the easiest to work with guys I have ever met. Some of the most skilled craftsmen, everything was completed within a reasonable time frame. I was very impressed.

The owner came out to give us an estimate. at that time he explained that they were very busy from work that came from a hail storm that had happened several months ago. I appreciated his honesty. I expected it to take a while for us to come up on his list but it didn't take as long as I had expected. When they got started they stayed with us until the work was finished. Not only the owner but also his workers listened to what I wanted done, made suggestions that may be better options and then let me decide which way I wanted to have the work done.

He saved me about $600. by doing this as I was unsure if I wanted to go ahead with having the vent removed and patched then or later. If I had waited it would have cost much more. They showed up when the said they would, did the work they were hired to do ( and really did a great job. I was really leery of having stippling patched but the fellow who did the work was a real artist at his craft. They cleaned up after the job was done and I couldn't be more satisfied. After the work was finished the owner called to make arrangements to come out to be paid. I really liked this because it gave us time to really look over the work they had done. Although we were very happy with the work, I felt confident that if there had been a problem that it would have been fixed. I will definitely call them when I need other work done on the house. This is a great company!  They are quick and very professional.  I called Chris to take care of my customer that an employee stepped thru the ceiling.  Chris called her the same day to get the work scheduled.  The customer was happy with CA Construction and was happy with me for sending great contractors to the home.  I used CA construction again for a broken ladder in the ceiling and they fixed that problem in less than an hour.  I will use this company anytime I need a handyman!39
