I've had Dr. Piland for my vet for years along with my small animals he also cares for my horses. I have had several emergencies and he has always been right out to care for my stock.  My dog is always happy to see him and his staff.  His staff is very friendly and helpful with all my needs.  Would recommend Twin Oaks and Dr. Piland to anyone that cares for their pets.  Excellent service and care.

Dr Mark Piland was prompt, courteous, and extremely professional. He thoroughly examined my puppy, Lola, and was sympathetic to my concerns and clearly answered all my questions.  He was absolutely wonderful with my tiny little 1 pound chihuahua baby, talking to her, and handling her with utmost care, kindness and gentleness.
He took the time to speak with me and made me feel at ease, making sure I had all my questions answered.  His support staff was also extremely pleasant, open, and friendly, making me feel welcome and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better veterinarian to take care of my Lola!  I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Euthanized my beloved dog I had for 16 years.  She was in pain and he made me wait at least a half an hour with the office empty and then wouldn't let me stay with her when he put her down.  One of the most horrible and heartbreaking experiences I have ever been through and certainly not the way you want to part with your beloved pet.   He first gave her some kind of shot to supposedly relax her and then walked out of the room saying he'd let me say my goodbyes.  The shot left her gasping for air for at least 30 minutes before he finally came back into the office. He think made me leave the room crying while she was still laying there gasping for air. It was on a Sunday afternoon and my bill was between 350 and 400 dollars.

I should have been able to be with her holding her and it should have been a quick, quiet and peaceful time for her and me.  It still breaks my heart every time I think about it.  I would never recommend this vet..

I recently moved to the area and needed a last-minute appointment for my sick cat. They got me in right away. The exam went well, everyone was friendly, and it was very affordable. He sent me home with some medicine to try and my cat seems to be doing better. We have multiple pets in our home and will use this vet again in the future.

We take both of our dogs (beagle and lab) to Twin Oaks and are always happy with them.  They send postcards reminding me of shots due, and when.  Their prices are reasonable, and the care is excellent.

I took the dog in right away in the morning and dropped him off. They went over the forms and any questions I had. They called me when he was out of surgery and let me know what time I could pick him up. When I got there he was going crazy barking and they had a really good sense of humor about it. I'll be going to them for all my vet needs.
