Kurt is always a pleasure to work with. His crew are excellent painters and are nice to work with. Kurt assisted me with color selection and fully answered all of my questions. The paint job was excellent. Some flaws that appeared after the work was completed were quickly corrected by Kurt and his painters. I am very happy with the end result.

This is the third summer our Homeowners Association has used Home Transformations. Our needs this year were fairly light compared with the last two years. The railings and other trim around and near our front and rear decks needed to be painted or touched up. Matching the old paint was not easy, but Kurt was very patient in working with us to get it right. In one case, the match didn't work and he was very fair in resolving this. We will continue to use Home Transformations to meet our painting needs. Kurt Meyer and his people are trustworthy, have high integrity, and fair. The quality of their work has always been outstanding, and the price fair.

The owner of the company spent time to help us choose the colors. They had a fairly large team and they completed the work within 3 days. They were professional, responsive and punctual. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

I made an appointment with this contractor to estimate the cost of exterior painting. Approximately 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time I received a call from the contractor with the excuse that he had a family situation that needed his attention and would not be able to make the appointment. I totally accepted this excuse, however, he stated that he would call me to reschedule and this never happened. If this contractor is this unreliable and unprofessional I would highly recommend that he not be used.

Professional, nice crew, quite, clean and friendly. I have a concern about the film they put on the windows which allows them to spray on the paint and peal the extra off the glass. We have not been able to remove the film from the windows and they still look "cloudy". I asked for advice but was told that's never been a complaint in the past. We'll see how it goes when we clean the windows this fall. I was also diappointed with the "stickiness" of doors and windows. Have gotten better over time but still worse than before painting when they were perfect.

Kurt is excellent and so is his staff. They worked hard and efficiently through brutally hot weather. Painting is intrusive, but they were professional and friendly and created as little disturbance as possible. The work was/is excellent.

Kurt Meyer bought the exact paint shades we selected, His crew arrived promptly and finished the work in a timely manner. The work was done cleanly, efficiently, and professionally. Mr. Meyer was pleasant, courteous, approachable, and flexible.

I called another painter and when he saw my 1960's kitchen he said to me the best that you can do is to take the cabinets down and buy new one. It will be about 7 to 8 thousand dollars, just go to IKEA on buy some cabinets, painting will not help this cabinets. I was so sad because of course I do not have 7 thousand dollars, so I said to my husband I think we will have to live another 10 years with this ugly cabinets. He suggested to call another contractor. I call Kurt at Home Transformation and he said yes I can do that for $2,500. We sign a contract with him and my kitchen was welcome to the 21st century. It looks like a new kitchen. I had a graduation party in my house and a friend keep saying you did more than just new cabinets you moved the sink, then the stove. Finally she said I can not believe this is the same kitchen. I'm proud to have people over our home again, the Kitchen looks wonderful.

Kurt came off as extremely personable, professional, and candid. Along with great Angie's reviews, his 5 year guarantee, and a good conversation with one of his references, we decided to use Home Transformations. He was not the cheapest bid, but he was also not too far above it... and we felt the quality of work he could provide meant he was by far the best value. Service was great - very accommodating to our schedule, very punctual and professional, the crew was very nice and respectful and cleaned up well. There were some small tasks we felt they did not get to the first time around, but when mentioned to Kurt he jumped right on it and made sure everything was completed quickly. In regard to the quality of the paint job, it seems they did a very careful and good job. We have had many compliments since our house was painted. My general contractor (unrelated to the project, but whom I trust tremendously) saw the house and felt they did a very good job. We would absolutely use them again and will be sure to suggest them to friends who are looking for painters!

Kurt was a pleasure to work with. From the very beginning it was obvious that he was very experienced and knowledgeable. He listened patiently as we described what we wanted done and then offered thoughtful suggestions about completing the project. Kurt and his crew of three showed up on time the day the work was scheduled to begin. We actually moved out of the house for the week so they could complete the project without having to worry about inconveniencing us. They showed up on time every morning and usually worked all day to make sure the project was completed on time. The project was actually completed a day earlier than expected and we couldn't be happier. The house looks absolutely fantastic and aside from the freshly painted walls and trim you would never know that anyone had been inside the house. Kurt's crew left the house exactly as they had found it and moved all of the furniture back into place. We only had one small issue after the project was completed and Kurt rectified it immediately. In fact, the only reason I added it to this review is to demonstrate how fantastic Kurt is to work with. Of the three estimates we received Kurt's matched the first one but was higher than the second. The reason we chose Home Transformations was because we were so impressed with Kurt and because we felt confident the job would be completed to our satisfaction. Now that the project is finished we couldn't be happier with our choice. We would highly recommend Kurt and his crew to anyone.

My wife and I really wanted to do something special for our kids' rooms. We noticed a wide horizontal strip design on a pottery barn kids catalog. Kurt was very prompt returning my multiple email questions regarding our project. Carlos worked over lunch both days. The rooms were left spotless, great clean-up job which is much appreciated. The sherwin williams paint has already held up very well against the abuse from the little ones.

His painters worked as a team in prepping my siding, respecting my foliage and garden beds, and doing the work in a logical and non-invasive manner. They were friendly and did not hesitate to ask me for directions. Frankly, they worked a miracle as regards the utility equipment on the side of the house - I barely notice the conduits and boxes anymore. At the end of the day, when I come home and pull in the drive, I am amazed at the "Transformation." Great job.

I tried to reach them several times over the course of several days. I did not leave a message on the voicemail - I prefer to talk to an actual person. I did eventually reach him, and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. He was very professional knowledgeable and offered some good advice. He e-mailed me my estimate within a few days. I chose not to use him for 2 reasons: 1. His bid was almost double the cost of the one I accepted, and 2. I was nervous about using a company that was so hard to reach by phone.

Overall, everything went very well. Kurt responded to my message very quickly and came out to the house to give us a quote. He was already filling up for the summer and was able to fit us in during a narrow time frame between closing and moving in. The walls were in good shape, so there wasn't much needed in terms of prep work on the walls. However, the previous owners used river rock paint and this required sanding all the walls to remove the rough texture. We were worried how this would turn out, but that paint looks fantastic and you can't tell that there was ever textured paint there before. We also have 2 rooms with very tall ceilings, about 18 feet. We also had Kurt do some touch up on walls that we weren't having re-painted and you couldn't tell that it wasn't the original paint job. Kurt sent a crew of about 5 guys, Carlos was the head painter and was the only one that spoke english. This wasn't a problem and the crew was very hard working. They did a good job of cleaning up and there was no paint on the carpet and only a few very small spots on the hard wood floor that was easily removed. The job took about 4 days, a little longer than expected. There were a couple of things missed and Kurt immediately sent Carlos back who fixed the problem without complaint. Kurt was also very good about keeping to the original estimate and not over charging us for a few extras things we had him do that was not in the original estimate. I gave the price a "B" only because Kurt was higher than other estimates, but his quality and customer service is worth the price. My husband and I are so glad that we hired Home Transformations instead of tackling this project on our own.

Kurt Meyer, Home Transformations President, gave us an estimate for exactly the work we wanted. Of course I would have liked to pay less, but their bid was reasonable. We chose to go with his company and set a date. They were always on time, which is not always the case with home improvement projects. We were very happy with the final results and would hire them again

Kurt & his crew did a great job from the beginning to the end. I was provided with a detailed estimate that covered all aspects of the job. His crew was able to start a bit earlier than originally planned and they were able to complete the job quickly. They went beyond what other's had done in the past with respect to preparation, which means the job will last longer. The crew was respectful of my time, the house etc. The house looks great and I couldn't be happier.

Kurt runs a top-notch business. I found his name on Angie's List and asked him if he had time to do some interior work on relatively short notice. He found time to drive over to our new home within 24 hours, and assess the areas we wanted painting. We had a one-week time frame in which the painting could be completed, and his crew completed all our work (plus some additional work that we added on AFTER the initial consultation) with several days to spare! Kurt's team was meticulous, respectful, and cleaned up DAILY (even though we weren't living in the house yet!). The work completed was technically excellent and has already been complimented many times! Kurt encourages use of low VOC (volatile organic compound) paints, and our house had very minimal odor even an hour after paint was applied. My husband has asthma, and we are glad that we spent a few extra dollars for a more respiratory system friendly (and environmentally friendly) paint. We are very impressed with Home Transformations and will be using them for some commercial work in the near future.

The start date estimate was delayed for about 10 days, but it was a very good experience. The crew was polite, courteous and professional. I would suggest a final inspection with the customer before the crew leaves which didn't happen in my case. However, if there had been a final inspection there isn't much, if anything, that I would have had them go over. The owner did stop buy later when I happened to be home. We discussed the work performed at that time.

I wanted this paint job to last for a while and not have to hire someone to re-do it every year. That meant finding someone who really understood how to apply paint correctly on exteriors. I was very pleased to find this company and after a harsh winter, I am happy to report that the paint job still looks like new. Even with a small job like this one, they paid careful attention to detail and did an excellent job. They were also courteous and professional. I highly recommend this company! (A note about the estimate - they quote a slightly higher estimate on purpose to make sure the cost of supplies is fully covered and there are no surprises. The final price is based on what is actually used and in our case the final price was less than the original quote.)

They were very good. There were a few little issues with the work after they had finished but they came back to fix the work very quickly so they definitely stand by their work. I would highly recommend them.

Their presentation was excellent. The price was out of line with what he could afford, so we decided to go with another company. It was solely a financial decision, as I was very taken with the owner's professionalism, and I am confident they would do a fantastic job.

I can't say enough good things about kurt and his operation. from the very beginning, i knew i wanted home transformations to perform the work on our home. kurt spent almost an hour going over what needed to be done and providing options and recommendations. while his bid was the highest of the 3, it was an easy choice given his professionalism and knowledge of what needed to be done.

I got Home Transformations name from Angie's List, called Kurt and had him come out to give me an estimate. When I told him we are preparing our house to sell, he worked me into his schedule very quickly. The first part of the job went so well we asked him to expand the job to include another room - he remained very flexible and responsive in working us into his schedule as we completed other work on the house. He and his crew were very professional, polite and made the disruption as painless as possible. The quality of their work and the thoroughness of their clean-up were very appreciated.

Overall the experience was excellent. The quality of their work is excellent as well. They were able to tell us the work that really needed to be done on our house. They actually were giving us ideas on how to save money on our home upkeep. I feel that their pricing is competitive.

We had removed wallpaper from all of the kitchen walls and one of the walls in the living/dining room. Home Transformations skim-coated the kitchen walls and primed and painted ceilings and walls in all rooms -- all in just two days. It would have taken us a month of weekends. In addition, we had moved a ceiling fixture in the kitchen so that we could install a ceiling fan, so they patched the hole where the old fixture was and applied texturing to match the existing "orange peal" texture on the rest of the ceiling (did I mention that Kurt also referred us to a great electrician for the light-fixture move?). Kurt was very prompt in responding to our initial request for a bid and throughout the entire project, which we really appreciated, especially since this was a small project. The painters were also prompt, polite, and very neat, keeping things tarped and clean as they worked and then tidying everything up at the end of each day. And their painting skills are outstanding! We used dark paint on accent walls in the living/dining room and in the kitchen with our light maple cupboards, so nice straight edges where two colors meet were critical -- and they did a fabulous job. We are thrilled with the final product and would definitely recommend Kurt Meyer and Home Transformations. They are truly artists!
