It went well. We called the company about 8:30 AM and the tech arrived here by 10. He was friendly, courteous, professional and helpful and did a great job. He even gave us some advice on how to keep the drain from plugging up in the future. The cost was reasonable, $94 after using a $10 Angie's List online coupon. (It was actually a 10% off coupon, which came off the $100 charge). I will definitely use SOS again if I have the same kind of drain problem.

Answered the phone directly when I called. Scheduled on the spot. Called as promised on his way. Did the work well, cleaned up his mess, polite, careful.

I have nothing but good things to say. I made the appointment, and was able to get service the same day, but It was better to arrange a time for the following day. Randy called me, right on schedule and let me know he was on the way. He was a great guy, very friendly and helpful. The work took about a 30 -40 minutes, and the problem was fixed. When I mentioned I found them through Angie's List, he gave me a discount, that I wasn't even aware of. Very Nice!

The sewer line started backing up in our basement on Saturday night. I determined it was only the line supporting the kitchen and laundry rooms - not the main sewer line supporting the bathrooms. I looked up SOS on Angie's list and called them. They called back and we agreed to have them come out on Monday morning to save a little money avoiding the after hours fee. Randy showed up on Monday, assessed the problem and resolved it by cleaning out the secondary sewer line. He checked to make sure everything worked before he left. Randy was very professional and friendly. We were very pleased with SOS and would call them again if the need arises!

Backed up sewer, was referred to SOS by the company I initially called because it was a weekend. SOS walked me through what was going on and counseled me to wait until the next day if I could only use minimal water and avoid weekend charge. Guy who showed up grumbled a bit about my basement stairs (sorry, it's the way they are), but managed to move the machine down and then up with only minimal scraping of the basement wall. It went well, it was my own fault for procrastinating getting it done!

Very responsive, explained services and process thoroughly. Work was done efficiently and professionally. I would definitely use them again (and probably will). Price was very reasonable.

When I called the night before I was told I would get a call between 8:00am and 10:00am when they were on their way. I got a call right at 9:00am from Brad saying he would be there in 10 minutes. Brad arrived, looked over the situation and got to work. He was very professional and on task. Brad was very careful not to hit or scratch the new washing machine next to the drain. He finished and wiped up the floor before he left.

My husband and I were incredibly pleased with the work done by Marty and Brad. We called SOS on a Sunday because our basement drain had clogged again that morning after having it supposedly cleared out the day before by a different company. Even with making a house call on a Sunday, the SOS price for clearing the line was less than half of what we'd paid the day before for a different company. Marty was professional and also explained everything he was doing; he snaked the drain and was able to clear it, but hit an obstacle about 40 feet down the line. He explained what he believed the problem was, then explained to us how he came to that conclusion (he had us listen to the cleaning tube and what he thought was sand in the tube, suggesting that the pipe may be broken and he may be hitting earth. He also showed us how the attachment on the end of the tube was shiny and polished, as though it had been spinning against something in the pipe.) To be sure, he brought a new attachment from his truck and ran the snake through the pipe up to the point of the obstacle again, to see if the new attachment also seemed polished after running it through. Marty suggested that we have an optical inspection of the line. We were so pleased with the service that I called SOS the next morning to schedule the camera work. Brad came to the house on Monday, 12/28 and ran the camera through. He, like Marty, was also very knowledgeable and professional. My husband and I will need to do further work on the pipe that will require excavating part of our yard to replace a section of the line, which is a service that SOS does not do. However, we will definitely be contacting SOS in the future for any sort of drain or plumbing problems. Great company, from our experiences!

Cory arrived a little late, but gave me a call to tell me how soon that he would arrive. This was not a problem as I was getting the work area set up and organized anyway. My wife and I showed Cory the two problem areas of our drainage problems (the washer and upstairs bathtub). He quickly went to work on snaking out the washer drain pipe. He was able to get rid of the clog here within 20 minutes. Clogged lint from the washer was one of the reasons for the clog. Cory told us to get a lint screen from a hardware store and install on the washer outlet hose. This would prevent the lint from clogging up the pipe in the future. He cleaned up this area really well before moving on to the next clogged drain pipe (the bathtub upstairs). He spent another 20 minutes snaking and opening up this drain pipe. Again, he cleaned up the area thoroughly when he finished. When I paid him, he gave me the 10% off Angies list coupon. Then, he knocked off another ten dollars as a holiday discount. I was pleased with that. I highly recommend Cory, and would hire him again if needed. He explained the whole process very well, and told us about SOS's preventative maintenance program.

Great job! I have lots of roots and the line clogs up about every 18-24 months. Brad came, had good equipment, and did a super job of removing roots that another company said they couldn't (after they tried 3 times in the past month when the line backed up). Brad worked on the worst spot until he got it cleared. I had both companies bring in cameras to show me the line so I know how it looked before Brad started and it is good and clean now. I'll be a repeat customer.

The service was good and done as expected. However, they did not show on the first day I had scheduled. When I called to check, they had writting my phone number down wrong and didn't write down the time slot they told me they would be there. I rescheduled for a couple of days later. They still ended up being 20 min late for their 2-hour window. I wasn't pressed for time, so not a really big deal to me. They did a good job with the work I needed done.

Had a basement shower that was always backing up. Has been almost sense I bought the place. Called up SOS and they wanted to come out that day! Talk about no waiting for service. Set up an appointment for that Friday. Tech did make it in the time window that was given, just barely but he did. New his stuff got right to it. Had it fixed in recored time. Family showed up the week after and was able to use it all week with no issues. Yeah!!

We had a clogged drain that started with the garbage disposal and ended in the basement after we snaked it. Hopeless. We called SOS at 8am and Randy was here before 9, solved the problem, was courteous and applied the Angie's List discount (10%) to the bill. I've never seen such quick response and would recommend them to anyone with a plumbing problem.

If it wasn't for Jeff's SOS Drain and Sewer coming out, I could have spent a fortune cracking up my foundation and replacing a pipe for no reason. He explained how to make it so the problem didn't happen again. DO NOT call Roto Rooter. DO call Jeff's SOS Drain and Sewer. They are cheaper too.

We had a backed up sewer line in our basement. I called SOS and was able to get an, almost, immediate response. Randy was able to come in the next morning, cleared the pipe and ended up finding a crack in the pipe line. He was very helpful and informative about what our next steps should be. Great Job

SOS was able to get us in on a Sunday when our sewer backed up. Brad, the service technician, called ahead of time to let us know that he was coming. He came within the time window provided. Brad was professional and friendly! He was also very patient with our questions and anxiety. My husband has music recording gear in the basement so our anxiety was running high. Brad was thorough and efficient. He also fixed our basement toilet after he recognized it was not fixed correctly by our handy man! Brad also offered us an attachment for our wet/dry vac that he no longer needed. The overall cost was reasonable. It included an extra charge of $50 because it was the weekend. Brad recommended that we have our sewer lines cleaned out every year mainly because of all trees and potential roots around our yard. We will definitely do that and call SOS and Brad!

We recently bought a home about two months ago and within the last two weeks our floor drain occassionaly started spilling onto the basement floor. It had been raining the last month alot so we were unclear as the cause was external or internal. We finally were able to isolate the occurance to the kitchen sink and dishwasher. I did research online and thought I might be able to clean it myself and put on rubber gloves and I pulled out muddy yuck that didn't spell to good and decided to call a professional. I was unfamiliar with who to call and did not want to blindly call anyone after having a bad experience with some other work done prior to moving in. We were at a festival and I recalled someone referencing Angie List memberships so I googled and signed up for one month to test this out. I reviewd drain cleaing plumbers and SOS was highly recommended so I called and they were able to come out the same day. Randy was very knowledgable. He examplained that sometimes when homes are vacant for awhile as ours was prior to moving in the garbage disposal can have deposits in the pipes along the way that harden due to the lack of running water and cause blockage and back ups and this was more then likely the culprit. We also had a whole in our basement that was the size of a five gallon bucket that we were not sure what it was for and there was a little water there. He said that this is fine and it's for a sump pump if we were to need one but we have drain tile outside so there is no need and we should be fine from outside external sources. Our dishwasher had 3 inches of water that backed up due to the blockage below that remained there and he gave us some helpful tips for cleaning it as well. Very friendly, helpful, honest and would definitly use again.

The called back immediately even though it was a Sunday morning. They arrived on time and were very careful with their clumsy equipment. They explained everything they were doing and why and then cleaned everything up very nicely. I have tried 4 other vendors over the years and by far this service has been the best. I plan to share his name with my neighbors who have the same annual service needs!

Installed a new vanity in bathroom, but the slow running drain now was almost plugged. I snaked it myself, even with a drill-driven snake, but couldn't get it cleared (it actually flowed worse!) Since we needed it cleared professionally, decided to also have another sink fixed - the kitchen sink - when tub on second floor was filled and emptied, it would back-flow temporarily into the first floor kitchen sink (interesting plumbing in this house...) Set up SOS appointment this morning, Randy came this morning, cleared both no problem. Would definitely use again! My wife was (happily) stunned with how inexpensive it turned out to be as well as the quick turnaround (the $147 reflects the Angie's list discount for a second drain.)

It was easy to schedule a non-emergency floor drain clean out with SOS. Marty arrived promptly as we were the first appointment of the day at 8am. He explained everything to us as he completed the work. He offered an option to replace the overflow plastic ball or not that were very reasonable priced at below $10. Everything was quick and expertly handled. He was able to clean it out to the street at the price they gave us over the phone. Thank SOS and Marty.

They have been very prompt, helpful, courteous and professional. They are always able to come out within a couple hours when I need them too. I will continue to use them in the future.

This is the second time I have used them. Last February they were able to clean what roto-rooter could not. SOS was polite and efficient. I raved about them to friends. I needed them out again today due to a little contractor error. Again - very kind, polite, responsive and efficient They are professional; it is a well run operation. I worked with Jeff over-the-phone and Marty came to my house both times. I will use them again without hesitation. There is a reason they are rated "A" on Angie's list!

Brad was very professional. His previous appointment took longer than expected so he did arrive late, but that was not a problem. He did a good job cleaning up. I have used SOS previously and would use them again.
