Called SOS late in the morning and they were able to squeeze me in and come out the same day during normal business hours. They gave me a two hour window during the original call and Brad called to tell me he was on his way. He arrived quickly and got right to work. He showed me the roots that he pulled out and advised doing this every couple years to prevent the roots from getting so big that they damage the sewer pipe (it had been about 5 years or so since I had the roots removed). He cleaned up, wrote up the bill (with the Angie's List coupon discount), and was on his way quickly.

My toilet was not flushing and I thought the line needed to be cleaned out so I called S.O.S. They were friendly, prompt and professional. Turns out, the toilet itself was broken and needed a full rebuild. Brad the service man asked where the nearest hardware store was and ran up to grab the parts and did the work himself! I was worried I would have to call a plumber, but they took care of it! Very happy customer, will use this company again!

The basement floor drain was starting to back up so we needed someone to come out fast. Called late morning (it was a week day) and they were there by 5:00 pm. Did a good job and cleaned up after themselves.

The times we have had them, they have been very satisfactory. I don't remember how much they charged us. All I can remember is that the service was satisfactory and we didn't have any problem. They were above average. Their responsiveness and punctuality were good.

We have this cleaning done once a year. Last year, I couldn't remember SOS' name so I called another plumber. It was almost twice as much money AND they ended up flooding my laundry room. Since then, I found my old SOS invoice, and will definitely call them next year!

Laundry tub sink would not drain. Original plumber fixed problem by removing tree roots which caused the clog. He recommended having a specialized company come out to do a video inspection. SOS was prompt and professional. Did video inspection and showed me interior workings of our sewer lines, explained the tree root situation,and preventive maintenance. Short and long term. Very informative and I believe he knew what he was talking about.

They were nice enough and the price was good. He was okay price wise and service wise, but he left a mess because of the type of job. I had to end up throwing things away. Had he told me I would have moved those things before he started the work.

Called to ask for main line cleaning. They responded same day. Price was less than quoted after coupon found here on Angie's List. Plumber was courteous, clean, professional and also gave professional opinion of condition of main line. Recommended annual cleaning - which I agree is a good idea. USE THIS COMPANY - I did comparison shopping and Jeff's SOS prices are very fair - lower than anything else I could find - and service was excellent.

I was able to reach them by phone on my first call, got the service date I wanted, they were prompt, fast, clean and inexpensive...what more could you want. I manage single family home rentals and SOS will be my first call in the future - Very Satisfied!

I called SOS on Monday night when we realized there was water in our basement, and they were easily able to fit me in the next day. Brad came at the end of the 11-1 window when we were expecting him and took just 20 minutes to clear out the plugged sewer line. He was respectful of our home and careful with his work.

Jeff exceeded my expectations. Initially he said he was going to have someone late morning or early afternoon. When I explained that I only had the morning off he rearranged some things and made the call himself. As I said, he was at my house in less than an hour and the job itself was complete in about 15 minutes. He was professional, helpful, and gave a 10% discount for calling from Angie's List. I would definitely use SOS again.

I needed two clogged drains cleaned out. They quoted me the Angie's list price over the phone, showed up on time, quickly did the work, explained what the problem was and charged the quoted price. I would definitely use again.

The fellow from SOS answered my call right away, and said he'd be over in about an hour (it was late Saturday afternoon.) He arrived on time, and snaked out the drain. The elbow trap on the sink broke at the threads, so he taped it up temporarily since it is an uncommon configuration (even-sided P trap.) He told me where I could get the part I need. He tried to solder the pipes together but the P trap alloy wouldn't solder. (He didn't charge me for trying to fix the P-trap.) He was personable and cleaned up after himself. I got the Angie's list discount, which helped off-set the "after hours" weekend rate.

It went great! He was in and out in about a half hour and then we were able to shower immediately. The best part was that they insured their work for 90 days so if for some reason the line backed up again they would be out to take care of it for free!

The technician was prompt, pleasant and efficient. He gave me a couple of price estimates over the phone based on what I was able to tell him. He was right on. He told me to call him if this didn't solve the problem.

They were great and super responsive. When we called, they called back immediately and it was a Sunday. They gave us a time when they could come. They thought they would be here in an hour and they got here in 30 minutes. They cleaned out the drains and recommended that we not use a bigger blade. We asked whether or not we should use a camera to go down and they really discouraged it and said it would cost more money. We clearly had a sewage issue and they took care of the immediate problem, but they didn't take the next step so we had to contact another company. The other company took the camera down without a fee and advised us that we need about $7,000 of work done. Had SOS done this, they would have gotten our business. What was strange to us was that he took the easy business, but didn't take it to the next step, which was clearly something that was needed. The work that they did was good, but there was more work to be done.

I had a inch of water in my basement by my laundry area. I called SOS and Randy was here within the hour. He was very friendly and got straight to work. He was here for about one hour snaking the main sewer line. It did the trick. Thanks. Would use them again.

They did an excellent job. I had gone downstairs to do laundry and had about 1" of water in the basement. They had someone here within 1 hour of me calling. He was able to get the job done right away. He did excellent. They gave A+ service. I would definitely use them in the future. I would recommend them to anybody without hesitation.

This is not the first time I've had to have our main sewer drain cleared, but I have not been happy with some of the companies and individuals I found through standard Google searches. This time (through Angie's List) I went with SOS Drain and Sewer Service and was very happy with there people and their work! The price I was given over the phone was $135 for 100 feet of main drain cleaning and 1.5 hours of work. So with the 10% off coupon available to AL customers the total was $121.50. I offered the service man a tip and he refused (maybe partially because I was paying with a check).

I was referred to SOS by another plumbing company. I was able to get an appointment the same day between 2 and 4pm. Their tech arrived just before 4pm and was able to quickly diagnose and fix our problem. He answered all my questions and made recommendations for preventative maintenance.

I was referred to SOS by two other plumbers in the area. After checking their references on the list I decide to call them. My first call was answered directly by the technician who would later perform the work. He was very knowledgeable and gave me an approximate time. I live in a condo building and no one was available to let him in or supervise his work, however, he was very accommodating and followed the instructions I gave to get into the building. He was prompt, and on time. Called me after he'd completed his work, and gave me a very thorough analysis and review of his services over the phone. Unclogged the drain and made recommendations to prevent this issue from cropping up again in the future. Excellent work! Friendly, and professional!
