This was our first experience with SOS and we were very impressed. They were able to get out the same day we called - Randy was right within the estimated window and he was very courteous - taking the time to answer questions. He was able to quickly identify which main water access to use - and snaked the line 3 times. He suggested our septic system be pumped to determine if there will be an ongoing problem. Randy had to access the main water line in the closet of a bedroom! Brought in plastic to ensure no damage to the carpeting - everything was cleaned up nicely before he left. And we were so pleasantly surprised at the charge! We would definitely use their services again and highly recommend them. Randy was great!

An overall excellent experience!! I have used the "large/big box" companies before and have been told that the laundry line cannot be cleaned out due to not enough room in the utility room. Marty not only cleaned out 30+ years of crud they also started with a main line in the utility room and cleaned out to the septic tank. Adding an additional 30 feet of clean out. I cannot express how happy I am to have these 2 areas cleaned out. I will be using them again in the future and I highly recommend them! Great job Marty!! And Thank You SOS!!

Called on Sunday; came out Sunday evening and worked about two hours. Had to dismantle laundry tub to access cleanout in main sewer line. Cheerful, thorough, and cleaned up after work was done--I was impressed. Would definitely use again.

We received a prompt response when we inquired about services. Randy was also prompt on the day of service and did an excellent job explaining not only information about our acute issues but also recommendations for some future issues(new dishwasher that will be coming and installation recommendations with hose/drain), some "trouble shooting" with our laundry room drain, etc. I would highly recommend this business.

He went way beyond just drain cleaning. He was helpful and I enjoyed working with him. He was very personable.

I am a real estate broker and my company does residential property management and sales. I have used SOS twice now and had great experiences both times. They were very prompt to return my calls, very pleasant and easy to communicate with and I was very pleased with the results. They are very competitive with their pricing and I have referred them several times since I started using their service.

Our main sewer line backed up into the basement. Years ago, I had a clogged bathroom drain and called one of the big companies. They sent someone out who revealed that the only problem was that the sink's drain plug was caked with soap for which I still had to pay 140 dollars. I didn't want another experience like that so I avoided the big guys and looked around for someone else to give me an estimate up front. SOS was top rated on Angie's List so I decided to give them a call. I liked the fact that they cover the whole metro with no charge for travel and do free estimates. They sent someone out that afternoon and finished the job for far less than I expected to pay. I would use them again and will recommend them to friends.

Job went well... cleaning out the sewer main and 3 lines within the house (one bathroom sink, kitchen, and laundry room). Job got done efficiently and without mess. Gave SOS the chance after another Angie's-listed company we used didn't respond to us. The owner replied to my message back within half a day to schedule service. With Angie's List coupon discount, price was competitive but not a bargain.

Responded quickly, showed up on a Sunday and did a nice job clearing tree roots at a reasonable price.

A+ company I would hire them again. They snaked out 24 years of grease and other stuff from the sewer line.

They were good and fast. The work was done in 2 hours? time. Their services were affordable. We have used their services twice in the past and surely use in the future, too.

Randy arrived within the two hour window. He spent well over an hour with my 1930 house. He was pleasant and was friendly with my dog and puppies. He found baby wipes that were backing up underneath the bathroom floor. Although he did not have a part for one drain, he explained how to easily fix. Although I never had this type of work done, I felt the price was good for the work completed.

We agreed that we could wait until Monday morning to fix the drains and they agreed to come first thing. They called at 8am to say they were stuck in traffic and would be about 30 minutes late, which was fine. They fixed the problems quickly and gave us a nice discount for being referred from Angie's List. A very good provider. We will use again.

Both people I dealt with were very professional, friendly, and responsive to my questions. I called at 10:00 pm, and he was pleasant and attentive even at that hour. I was offered recommendations for managing this ongoing issue in the most economical manner for this particular property. They told me details that helped me understand the problem and how to hopefully save my renters from any more sewer backups.

Scheduled and arrived timely. Service performed by a single worker who was courteous and efficient and careful. Would highly recommend.

At about 4:30pm on Saturday they quickly responded and came out in a reasonable amount of time to repair the toilet. They also opened up my bathtub drain which had been running slow. He was able to open both drains for me very quickly. They are very good. The people who answer the phones are very helpful. The technician who came out was able to answer my questions as well as keep his focus on fixing the problem. He was very professional and friendly. I think the price was very reasonable being that the call was made in the evening hours on a weekend. I have used this company in the past and I would definitely hire them again if I had this problem. I would recommend them to anybody.

I had water on the floor. I though it was coming in because of the rain but when I sucked it up and tried pouring it out through the tub, I saw it came right back. I used Angie's list to find a plumber and they said to call SOS who does all the main line work for them. I called and they got back to me within minutes and were out that afternoon. They go my main drain unplugged after the second try. Then I had them clear another drain in the basement that was plugged as well. Since it was the weekend I had to pay extra but cheaper than calling them back for a second trip. My sewer has roots so I have to just bite the bullet and get the main sewer line done at least once every two years. I'll call SOS to get this done.

I that morning and they gave me a window of time from 11-2. They called at 1:30 to say they were running late would 2:30-3 still work, I said yes and the serviceman arrived at 3. Was able to clean out the drain quickly and give me some tips to keep it running more smoothly. I appreciated the heads up on the time change, usually if someone is running late I have to call back and find out what is going on. They were very friendly and professional and I absolutely will use them again.

A basement drain had backed up. After trying myself for a while I called SOS. I was surprised when they said they could send someone that day. It wasn't an emergency, just an annoyance, so that response caught me off guard. They gave me a time frame that didn't exactly work for me they promised to make an effort to send someone as close as they could to a specific time & the plumber did show up very close to the promised time. He assessed and got to work quickly. He was able to finish in plenty of time for me to get my kids at daycare, which would have been a deal breaker. While he was here he was very pleasant and candid. He even played with my cats. I would readily use them again especially as one of the things he was candid about would have made them some more money, but at his advise, I didn't do something that would have been ultimate not very useful.

We called SOS on a weekend when we discovered we had a floor vent backing up. They helped us determine if it required immediate service. As no toilets were involved we chose to wait until Monday. Randy came at appointed time and was courteous and professional, including handling our over-excited dog with aplomb. He was efficient and effective and soon had the drain cleaned out and again running. I had hoped that perhaps they would clean around the drain area but that was not part of the service, and it didn't take me long to take care of it. I would definitely use SOS again.

Randy called to confirm he was on his way. He arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. Showed him what the problem was with the drain. Cleaned the drain and then informed me of the problem. Wasn't sure if I needed the sewer drain clean so he inspected and determined that there was no indication of that. Did a great job! He said if I have any problems to call back and let them know. Will definitely call them again if need work done. Thanks!

Called SOS Drain at 10:00 am on a Saturday. Had overnight company coming later in the day. Wanted the toilet working properly. SOS Drain arrived at 3:00 and were able to retrieve the part from the toilet. The other option was to push it through the trap. It was well worth the extra "weekend" charge. It was a bonus to get the plastic thing back instead of having to replace it.

Making the appointment was a pleasant experience. The tech showed up on time and was professional. The price with the Angie's list coupon was quite a bit cheaper than the last time I'd seen a price for this price through Minnegasco 6 or 7 years ago ($150).
