I brought some tough framing jobs, about 4 in total, to Wholesale Art & Framing. It did a wonderful job on all 4 jobs, nearly flawless, and completed each job at a price below competitors. In addition, the selection of mats and frames was every bit as good, if not better, than competitors. I will bring all my framing jobs to Wholesale Art & Framing in the future.

It couldn't have gone any better. They helped me select the most attractive frames for each painting yet keep the costs affordable despite using the best glass and the most archival framing materials and techniques. My costs have consistently averaged about $110- $115 per frame, depending on the size of the painting and if the medium of the painting is soft pastel or acrylics. The paintings I have framed at this company look so good that the retail prices suggested by my gallery increased above what I expected they would retail for even though my framing costs haven't increased. This company's frames are a better value than competitor's frames, cost less, and look better. One custom frame had a problem with part of the surface that was made of a different material separating from the wooden base after the painting was taken directly from the framer to a show at a reputable gallery for an exhibition that lasted less than two months and had not been mishandled. I didn't know that Wholesale Art and Framing guarantees their work, and even though their workmanship didn't cause the problem, that the manufacturer of the framing materials was at fault, they insisted I pick out another frame regardless if it cost more per foot than the original frame, and they didn't make me select from just the same manufacturer but from any frame that equally enhanced the painting, and they re-framed the painting at no charge for either the frame nor for the additional labor. I can't imagine that their moulding supplier would compensate their framing companies for the extra labor in such instances. This service is exceptional and why I recommend them to anyone who needs picture framing services.

The name of the company might lead some to believe that this store is open only to professional painters or museums or galleries, or that the clients might be faced with very large minimum orders, but they handle any size order and everyone from hobby artists to expert are welcome to use their framing services.
Although I recently arrived way too close to closing time for my comfort, I wasn't pressured into selecting too quickly merely for the staff's convenience, yet I was done within a few minutes after closing time and felt comfortable that I had selected the best choice for that art.  All the other paintings I've had framed were finished slightly sooner than requested, and never later than required for deadlines.  Normal turnaround is two weeks.
Only once has anything gone wrong, and when it did go wrong, the problem had nothing to do with the care or workmanship by the fine folks at Warehouse Art & Framing. The molding supplied by another company was subject to cracking and peeling of the finish. The owner, Brian, insisted on a free replacement frame at no further charge even though the next molding might have cost more or less than the previous molding and the labor to remake the frame isn't free.  He showed no frustration over the extra work or expense the bad molding caused, he just saw to cheerfully helping me select an acceptable replacement frame.
I feel comfortable recommending this framer to my friends, student painters and colleagues.  Their motto to provide the highest quality of framing at the cheapest cost is not in any way hyperbole.  They are top quality framers, do excellent work, meet the special requests of quirky customers (like me) with unfailing curtesy and care, and keep their word when they guarantee satisfaction.

They spent time interviewing me as to what I was looking for and cost issues.  Next we looked at each piece of art, and looked at mats, colors and frame options.  They were very professional, excellent suggestions, but also no pressure.  There goal appeared to be to provided ideas but that I would choose what I thought was most appropriate.  I visited twice.  The first time I was seen immediately without an appointment and the 2nd time within 5 minutes of arrival.

They did a nice job.  They had a really good selection of frames and it came out very nice.  I checked around other places and their price was reasonable.  I felt comfortable leaving the picture with them.  My daughter went with me and she had a picture framed and we were both very happy with the results.  They were very personable and a very patient with us.  Their suggestions were very good as well.

After dealing with micheal's for several other pieces of artwork; it was a pleasant change to have someone who knew what they were doing. They were also less expensive than Micheal's (even with their "sales") and the job was of better quality

Fantastic! Brian, the owner, met me when I came in and spent a lot of time with me going over what would look best with my art. He was extremely patient even though I was being indecisive and dragging my feet. I really appreciated that.
In addition, the work they did was not only timely and affordable, but extremely high quality. When I got the framed print back, I was extremely impressed with the attention to detail and high quality components. There is always a little hesitation when you find a price that dramatically cheaper than someplace like a Michaels or JoAnn Fabrics, but I have to tell you, I actually think their work was levels above what I saw at the larger chains.
The frame was beautiful, no flaws at all. Glass was fantastic as well (I paid for the high end stuff). Overall, not a single issue. Exactly how it should be.
I would absolutely do business with them again and will refer anyone I know there as well!

After going to Michael's, I found this wonderful framing shop. They were very patient and helpful as I chose the mat and frame. I was even allowed to take samples home which really helped me pick the perfect combination for my room. They completed the work in less than two weeks and it turned out stunningly!!!!! Their pricing was almost 1/4th of the pricing of the Michael's 1/2 off sale!!!!!!!

I had four items I needed framed. They ranged from a poster that didn't need any matting, to a large photograph that needed acid-free backing, double matting, and museum-quality non-glare glass. I felt their prices were very reasonable, and it was really all based on what I wanted, so if I wanted to spend less, I could opt for less expensive bells and whistles. I had fun telling the guy the story of how I came to own these four items. He was very helpful in offering suggestions and asking about the room these items would go in, how it was decorated, the color scheme, etc. When I came to pick up the items, I was absolutely delighted with the work they did. They carried the items out to my car. They go perfectly in my family room! I am really pleased with their service and will definitely use them again!

During the initial consultation they were very generous with their time and provided excellent advice on the the appropriate mat color, the the selection of a wooden frame, and even the type of glass for the frame. All options were clearly explained and the prices of various choices were provided in advance. The final product was of the highest quality (the work was beautiful) and the final cost was exactly as promised during the initial consultation. I will definitely return here for the same type of work in the future and will recommend this firm to friends contemplating similar projects.

I first heard of Steve Pope's Wholesale Art and Framing on Angie's List. Having been impressed by the overall reviews--with quality and price as my top priorities--I visited the store where I was assisted in selecting a frame and matting for a large print. He presented me with a number of great options while also listening to what I was looking for. After having been told the frame would be ready in a week, he called a few days later to say it was ready. I am very happy with the matting and framing. The service was responsive. This company is very professional in all customer service areas--and I have a beautifully framed piece of art for a great price!

Once you find Wholesale Art's store (which is the hard part), everything else is exceptional. After you've been there once, they're easy to find. They're located in a row of businesses where one wouldn't usually think of a framing shop to be. It's relatively small, but with a large inventory of frame choices which all seem to be in stock. They are very helpful and knowledgable about frames. But most importantly, they're work is exceptional. We've not had framing done anywhere that's better quality.

Great! I stopped at another framing store and got a quote that started at $700 EACH and then worked down to $500 EACH. More than I wanted to spend. I went to Wholesale hoping to find a better price and I did. I explained (as I did at the other locaiton) that I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but wanted the paintings under glass & framed to protect them. The owner spent time with me to find a good looking and affordable solution. The work was done exactly as promised, on time (even a day early) and exactly the price quoted. He even helped me get them in my car and gave me advice on hanging them. I will definitely use them again.

Very well. I knew I wanted frames, but not what the material should be. The staff pitched in and started pulling sample frames. We found one frame right away. The other 2 (a pair) we spent easily 25 minutes discussing. I found the right frame and got the estimate. The frames were done on time and exactly on budget.

The experience was great. They were patient and knowledgeable. I know that I can't justify spending $75 getting a $10 poster framed but the end result was much better than putting it in a inexpensive frame from Target. They mounted the poster on foam-core so that it sits in the frame perfectly. The glass even seems clearer than the inexpensive frames.
