Our furnace is over 20 years old and our central air unit 7 years old so we signed up for Standard's recurring furnace and AC service plan. They check our central air before the summer season and our furnace before and during the winter season. I believe the cost is about $140 for all the checkups. We've been considering replacing the furnace but after the last check, the technician suggested we wait until the old one shows some signs of deterioration and it isn't yet. They have never tried to push anything on us, have always done good work, are always on time and we trust them completely. Standard is definitely our go-to company for everything HVAC related.

He provided me with all of the options. The repair man was totally honest and explained everything that could happen. The salesperson provided me with all of the details between the two different systems. It stormed on the morning of the installation and they still came out and completed the installation in the rain. They explained everything to me from why they completed each repair to what they were doing. After the work, it was so clean that you wouldn’t have known they were there. Everything was great and they were very nice and informative. The work was really fantastic! It was the best experience. I would use them again and have even already recommended them to three people.

Standard Heating and Air Conditioning installed my furnace and has been servicing it for 15 years. Everybody with whom I have worked from sales to install to scheduling and service has always been very professional. I would recommend Standard to friends and neighbors. And, they wear protective booties in the house!

Jason was the last technician who came out for the inspection. Over the years, there have been several different technicians who have come out, but the last few times Jason was the one who came. They are all professional, great, and efficient. They are a great company! I pay them $15 a month for the contract. They come out two times a year for a furnace inspection and once a year for an air conditioning inspection. They take it all part and clean it. On top of the inspections, the contract includes no service charge on any repairs I may have to additionally call them for. Since having the system, I have not once needed a repair and I believe it is because of the regular maintenance they provide for the unit.

I have been using their services for about three years. The work has turned out really well! I like them quite a bit. Jason is the technician who typically comes out for the inspections. I like him a lot and he is very trustworthy.

The work was done very well. There was no cost as the work was under warranty. Chris was the technician I worked closely with. They were there when they said they would be.

Standard is amazing, We bought a new AC from them last Fall. We have had no issues until August 2013. We called and requested service, Standard came right out and fixed the noisy fan and got the cold air flowing. The issue with the cold air was that I had forgotten to replace the air filter, they as always are classy and took care of it. I highly recommend.

It turned out fine. I bought a coupon for $70 and they charged me $120 bucks. They were very friendly and they seem to know what they were doing and it was sort of an off brand air conditioner and they knew how to take care of it, so I would use them again in the future. I don't have any complaints.

$75 for service call (after $25 Angie's List coupon) and $150 for part. I'm very grateful the company was open on Saturday; the heat is going to be oppressive these next few days. Repair person also cleaned my A/C unit with hose. Overall, I was very satisfied!

They are excellent and I know a lot of people have used them in my area. Their customer service is really good. When I had an issue with the furnace, they were very good at responding.

They were prompt on timing and careful while in the house, using booties over their shoes. They explained everything they were doing so you were in the loop. Since I moved into the house less than 2 years ago, they also recommended I find out if my a/c still had any warranty coverage. It did not but I appreciated their looking out for me. It took about two hours.

Very painless - very quick - no added charges or surprise fees etc. I am very happy with their work. They also had an integrated credit payment plan that was easy to sign up for.

Overall process was a little disjointed. Slight confusion during the sales process while getting financing. Our sales agent was new so wasn't properly educated on all of the details, worked hard to correct problems though. Also not a lot of communication about the install process. Standard Heating and Cooling installed the unit then had to have a separate sub-contractor finish the electrical work. Advance notice of all the processes and various contractors would have been appreciated. Install area wasn't spotless, but nothing major. Overall happy with the purchase, couldn't find better financing options. Supervisor did call after install to discuss any concerns and to explain the process, which was very appreciated!

We purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out well. I worked with a very intelligent individual, who I really appreciated, he was very straighforward, and I ended up getting a furnace from someone else, but he was very helpful with diagnosing the problem.

Process started by my reaching a live person who scheduled a technician to "check out" broken furnace. I knew what was wrong but wanted a second opinion/estimate. Nathan, a very pleasant and professional technician/repair person, made his appraisal and described my options. He scheduled a sales person to visit my home and evaluate the home's actual heating and cooling needs and design limitations. Sales person was not high pressure but did expect to make a sale before he left. Sales person scheduled an installer to visit home to evaluate possibility of installing cold air return that had not been installed when home was remodeled. The installer was thorough and professional and explained why cold air return could not be readily installed.. Installation crew arrived about on time a week later and did their jobs quickly and very professionally. Main installer said that he would submit the paperwork to utility company for rebate offered for installing more efficient AC and furnace. My question about paperwork and the bill was quickly and professionally resolved by a simple phone call to the company's main office. All in all, a pleasant and hassle-free experience.
