It went very well. Standard Heating scheduled a technician to fit our busy and limited schedule. Seth was very detailed during his examination of the furnace. He took his time so not to overlook anything. He answered several questions I had about furnace operations and various brands. He ordered a condensation trap for me that other companies I used in the past were not able to supply to me. I will now use Standard Heating for all my Heating & AC needs.

I have had them out several times. It was packed with dust and they were able to fix it. I had a really good experience with them.

Nathan was a pleasure to work with. I watched him do it, and he gave me many useful hints on what I can do to take care of the furnace and humidifier. When I had changed the water thing on the humidifier a couple of weeks ago, I did not have the black hose in far enough. He discovered it and showed me exactly how to do it. What a nice young man, and he really knew his stuff.

I was pleased with the company's service. When I called to ask about the price, the person who answered directed me to an Angie's List coupon I didn't know about and thereby saved me $50. I appreciated that. Then, because of a cancelation, they were able to send a technician that day. We weren't in a rush, but it was nice to have it taken care of before the temperatures dropped in November. The technician arrived within the expected time frame, wore booties to protect the floor, was friendly, and finished work within about 30 minutes. He didn't try to upsell us anything, so I got the feeling that they conduct an honest business. We would use them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out that I actually had to have my contractor come back because it had been wired to 120 instead of 220 so he had to come back. It was pretty much no big deal. I thought it was the air conditioner when it was the wiring that was the problem. It was a fair price but it didn't really do anything for me. They are a good company and they were pretty fair. The problem was that I called the wrong company for the repair.

Great - he was detailed, courteous and provided us with easy to understand explanations.

It went well. Price was an average rating simply because the pricing involved a relatively high service cost (at least in my estimation). All other aspects, including quality of work, punctuality, and explanation and resolution of the problem were done very well. In that regard, I would use them again if needed.

Everything went great - as advertised with good recommendations.

It worked out great. They forgot to put on the tax and they called back and they had to add the tax on but it seems to me that the price was pretty reasonable. The man was very professional. He was very nice. He cleared away some misconceptions that honestly had come previously another time to some kind of daily deal on the paper and they didn't do much of anything and the guy was telling me that I had too much carbon monoxide in the air and this young man read all the carbon monoxide readings and I had none. He was really good at alleviating any fears I had about that.

Service went well, my air conditioner is in pretty good shape, furnace is nearing end of life .

We were very happy with the service and have been continuing to use Standard for all of our Air Conditioning and Heating maintenance.

I was at work when they came, but my husband told me what he could remember. The last time the humidifier seemed to be functioning correctly was just before I changed the water pad when the light on the unit informed me that it was time to change it. After changing the pad, the house seemed to be MUCH drier for at least one full winter. I had changed the setting more times than I can count, trying to get the humidity to go up. I got the book out to see if there was maybe something I was missing and nothing seemed to help. I thought maybe the pad was not installed exactly the right way and that was keeping the unit from functioning. When Standard Heating came out, they checked the unit over and changed the setting again. The technician told my husband that the humidifier was working and that the setting had been too low. I think that it probably was something they did while checking the unit that caused it to start functioning again, but I won't know for sure until we need it this winter. The Aprilaire unit we have is extremely hard to tell if it is actually working, unlike the old unit we had on our old furnace that we could hear running (or not) and could see the water sitting in the pan. We have used Standard Heating on 2 other occasions and will call them again when we have heating and air conditioning issues.

Service technician was great! Easy to get service set up with the company and were very knowledgeable. Showed up on time for appointment and were good to work with overall.

We found they to be exceedingly professional. The person that came for our estimate spent as much time as needed to get all our questions answered. He was well informed and knowledgeable. They were able to work around our availability. The job was completed within the agreed timeline, workers were very professional and they explained the work as requested. I have had Standard Heating out several times - To clean and service the furnace, the AC and to help with ducting issues. They were always professional, never pressured me to buy anything and I feel they gave me honest information. Even when I expected a sales pitch to buy a new furnace when they were helping with my ducting issues, they really try to solve the problem, and help me, not sell me a "bigger" AC/heating unit. I would definitely recommend going with them and will use them in the future

The installers were friendly, professional and thorough. They put booties on their feet after being outside in order to protect my floors and they cleaned the floors of debris when done. They explained maintenance and told me how to buy and replace filters. Everything was done perfectly.

Standard came out right away on a Saturday--which was great because we were in a heat wave and the central air wasn't working. The problem turned out to be simple--the circuit was off--so he also filled up the coolant, did an A/C tune-up, and explained some of the unusual features of our furnace (we just moved in to this house and don't know the HVAC system very well). He described Standard's service plan in case I was interested and I was. He wasn't pushy. When I subscribed to the service plan, he adjusted the price of the service call. I was very happy with the service and professionalism.

Everything went well. Sent someone to inspect the unit, gave cost breakdown up front. Sent installation personnel, who arrived on time and completed the work as planned. No problems with the work since then.

Overall, I was pleased with my experiences with Standard Heating & Air Conditioning. Earlier this summer, my central AC unit went out. After getting some information on the feasibility of repairing the unit, I found out it was about 25 years old and at the end of its lifecycle. After getting quotes from multiple heating and AC companies in the area, I decided to go with Standard for two reasons. First was options. After an in-home consultation, Standard offered me three different AC units to choose from, with different SEER ratings, prices, etc. The salesperson I worked with was very knowledgable about the different units. Second was price. For similar units, other companies were going to charge more. The best part of my experience with Standard was the actual installation. The installer arrived promptly, was courteous, and completed the work efficiently. His name was Thor, and I felt very good having him in my home doing the work of installation. The most frustrating thing about Standard was their poor communication skills. Their website asks you to fill in information and submit an automated message in order to set up a time to get a quote; after doing this, Standard never called me back. I had to finally call them to set up an appointment for a salesperson to come to my home. On the day of our appointment, I took the afternoon off from work and waited at my house--no one showed up. I called the Standard offices, and everyone I talked to expressed confusion. Finally, they sent a different salesperson out to meet me who arrived several hours after the initially scheduled appointment and who rushed through the consultation. On the day of installation, Standard's poor communication skills again caused delay. I had taken the entire day off from work, knowing that after the AC installation, a separate work crew would show up to undertake the electrical work. Standard subcontracts this out to a local company called Spark. After several hours of no one showing up, I called Standard, who told me to call Spark. When I told Standard to call Spark, since it was their responsibility to do so (after all, I had just cut them a check that morning for a couple thousand dollars!), Spark called me to let me know that they had never received the work order and it was too late in the day to send someone out. I had to take more time off from work the next day to have Spark finally show up the next morning to complete the job. Overall, I would recommend Standard with some caveats -- they are lacking in the customer service skills. But overall I am happy with the AC unit and the price that I paid for it.

Good. The serviceman was fast, went and got the part needed and returned to put it in. It worked great and solved my problem of no heat!

Great. Very helpful technician who took time to not only walk through the mainenance steps I need to do, but wrote them down for me. He even left me the box from teh humidifier filter so I know exactly what to buy in the future. I pre-paid for a central check and they were very good about calling to set that up later in the year. Again, very professional and helpful.

Was a challenging task assessing the problem which a prior AC company gave up on, but Standard stuck to it and found the issue...which turned out to be a faulty circuit board on an air exchanger in the attic. The company stayed on it to the end, which required several trips back and forth, and communication was excellent. A highly professional company that stands buy their work and holds themselves accountable, a rarity today.

Went great, he even fixed my furnace filter setup for free. :-)

It was all good. It turned out I needed something else done so except for the Big Deal, we had other stuff done also. They are good.
