The service was fine. I misunderstood the wording of the offer. So the pricing wasn't what I thought it would be. My fault, but maybe it could be worded differently. I purchased additional services for the future because it was a better value all in all.

Simple fix, but they were polite, efficient and personable. Seth took the time to explain how to clean the censor to avoid future calls and he followed-up with their sales and boiler staff for us on another property we contacted them about a couple of days ago that we didn't hear back from yet. Will use again.

When I called and described my problem, Standard Heating first offered a few suggestions over the phone to fix the problem before making an appointment to send out a technician. I was able to get an appointment first thing the very next day. The technician called to tell me he was on his way and arrived right on time. Very friendly. Very polite. Clean - put booties on before coming in. Explained everything he was doing and spent time detailing how the problem started and what will fix it. This is my second experience with Standard Heating. The first was very similar. Very pleased with their service. I would (and have) recommended them to friends and family.

After checking over the furnace, Seth determined that the pressure switch kit was not drawing in and releasing air as it should. Once that was figured out, he gave me two options - wait and see if this fix would be all that was needed or go ahead with replacing the kit. He also showed me how to manually restart the furnace if it should stop again. I made the decision to go ahead an order the part, since I didn't want to play roulette with my furnace in the winter! He then explained that the part wasn't available locally and that it would take 5-7 business days to get to my house. (there was also an option to overnight it for $100 more.) I chose the 5-7 day option, as I don't mind restarting it if necessary. He also recommended a tune up, as the furnace hasn't been serviced since being installed 7 years ago. I also opted for that on top of a pressure switch kit replacement. I called Standard Heating and AC just before 8:00am this morning, and Seth was working on my furnace by 9:00am. AMAZING turnaround time!! I HIGHLY recommend these guys -- very friendly, professional and willing to explain/demonstrate things for a new homeowner!

The team arrived on time, installed the furnace in the quoted timeframe, and provided an overview of the thermostat. They provided this service with a high level of professionalism and I will contact them for all required services in the future. We were highly pleased with the outcome!

wonderful, New switch fixed the problem fast, didn't take long, will use them again. Bought Coupon thru Angies List site to get 25 dollar discount on service call and they were prompt on time. Knowledge of older furnace and how to fix it.

It went very well. The technician that came out did everything they could to get our air working again! He did an outstanding job!

I ok'd the repair, but it seems they didn't have the correct part on their truck. On the second attempt to repair, we were told the whole furnace needed to be replaced. Go figure....The Standard sales force showed up, and sure enough the furnace needed to be replaced for onlyaround 6k...go figure...is there such a thing as a honest HVAC company??? I would like to know, cause so far Im batting 0.

It was fine. They came out right away. When they had to send another person out, he came right away, too. They fixed the problem. The first guy had discovered that there was something else wrong so he called another guy to replace the circuit board in the switch. I paid an additional $346 for the parts and replacement.

I had lost heat one night & thermostat was totally blank. Older Honeywell which gave me reload instructions which worked but didn't trust it after that as it was the 2nd problem with it. He installed new one & works great. Answered all my questions. Very pleasant service man. Would definitely use again.

In all fairness, I don't know how big a job this really is. I have had them out here with about every groupon for maintenance they have.. They come on time they are professional and they somewhat explain what they are doing. I am an older person and I feel they don't try to take advantage of me---A biggie in my eyes. I did have my sis ter have them install a new furnace and she was pleased as well.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The deal was for $25 off. It went well. It was easy to set an appointment. They showed up on time. I had another company that did not do a very good job and Standard was able to tell me what that company did or did not do. They accomplished what I hired them to accomplish to my satisfaction. I was able to save money and get a second look on what had already been done. They came out really soon after the big deal. Their prices were in line with everyone else. Their service call price seemed to be fairly standard.

I called late on a Friday afternoon to report furnace problems and I was put on the emergency list for later that night. I had great and punctual service from Nathan, who was done within one hour. I also signed up for a maintenance package for next year, so I don't have more problems on the coldest weekend of the year.

Things went Great. The employees that came out were very nice and helpful.

I bought the $75 special through Angie's List expecting that will apply to my annual furnace tuneup, but it didn't. There was also some communication confusion at the beginning. I am fine with the confusion as the communication issue was cleared up. I was disappointed the $75 special through Angie's List was not clear that it applys only to services, excluding funace tuneup. Anyway, I signed up for their $99 special for the furance tuneup and apply the $75 I spent through Angie's List. The technician was on time and professional. He 'up-sale' me with a special that will perform tune up for the furnace again in Spring, and the air-conditioner in Fall for a total of $200, which is the price I listed. I used Standard Heating before, and I liked them. This experience did not change my opinion of them.

Nathan was professional and helpful. I could not access the $25 off labor stated on Angie's list by computer. The Standard office staff and repairman both were in agreement to deduct it from my bill without a hassle.

He was late but the company called to tell us he would be and he also called 15 minutes before arrival and apologized. He wore booties to cover his shoes, got down to work cleaned the furnace. He was informative and told us about another special they had that also included air conditioning cleaning that would be done this summer. We were so pleased and needed the the air conditioning service we accepted the deal. Very Happy and I would use them again and recomend them.

I was so impressed with the attention given to my air conditioner and furnace. Workers went above and beyond to ensure that everything was running well. They were punctual and friendly- will definitely use them again!

Couldn't fix per insurance quote., Recommended A/C compressor/fins replacement, but said it would work totally fine the way it was. Professional, and knowledgeable in any questions asked and doing paperwork, etc. Would use again!

We had a yearly inspection on our furnace. We were informed that our furnace was giving off carbon monoxide due to a cracked heat exchanger. The inspection company turned off the furnace and labeled it unable to be used. We got two bids on replacing the furnace. Both companies sent out a sales rep immediately. Their prices were competitive, but several friends had used Standard Heating and had been pleased with their work, which tipped the scales for us to use them. The sales rep, Beau G., loaned us a space heater to keep our toddler warm for the night; she slept in our room so she could not access the space heater herself. Promptly the next morning the two-man crew of Adam M. and Luke J. came to remove the old furnace and install the new one. They worked efficiently and kept me abreast of their progress. Adam M., the electrician, installed a new thermostat and got everything going. The process went smoothly and our home was clean and warm when they left.

It was Thanksgiving day and we awoke to the furnace being out. What a day to be without heat. I called Standard's emergency repair line as it was after hours and on a holiday. The technician called back within minutes and provided the approximate window he would arrive. He arrived promptly at the start of the window provided. He was friendly, efficient and answered all questions. The repair was completed within a half hour. Thanksgiving with the family is back on!! Thanks Jason for great service.
