They had to removed our new wood fence first to gain access. Then dig on a slanted part of our walk out rambler to excavate a 12 x 9 foot hole, put in a full depth basement and cement floor with a sump and drain tile. They also put foam around the outside to help insulate the concrete block wall and cut a doorway into the existing basement. The workers were polite and worked hard. The finished product was nice and we can't wait to use it for a special storage room. Our complaints were that they ran over and crushed two of our gutter downspouts and ripped up and destroyed the plastic edging that was located where they were working. As part of the contract with them, they also removed our existing steps and timbers which we will replace later, and excavated the excess dirt and removed that from the site.
