We in the process of having our master bathroom remodeled. We suddenly had no working lights in our newly wired master bathroom and the adjoining bedroom—the breaker kept tripping. John came over the same day we placed the call and got our lights back on. He did advise us that there was more work to be done and that we should have the guy who did the bathroom remodel wiring fix the problem. John felt it was foolish of us to pay him (John) to fix a problem when we have already paid the other guy to do the work. The advise was appreciated!

Great! Ryan was the technician who came out once to fix the outlets it didn't work and when we asked if they could do some other work they were able to come back within a week and were very prompt both times. We have hired them before in the past and I've always been very satisfied.

This is the second time I have hired Harrison Electric. The first job was nearly $5k and this one was about $1k. The most recent experience was today and they hung a pendant light, installed a dimmer, added and outlet and GFI, completely rebuilt two outside outlets. Dave is fabulous and I feel is really looking out for me and my family and goes above and beyond. If you need an electrician, look no further.

I always have complete confidence in the recommendation and the work with Harrison and more specifically, Dave. They do stellar work and give common sense recommendations.

Brian was an excellent, methodical electrician. He got the work done swiftly and then helped answer some questions we had about possible future work. For one of those jobs, he wrote up some detailed potential costs and explained them all. We have always liked & trusted Harrison Electric and see no need to change that opinion!

The work is great. He went around the house and mentioned other things I may want to look at replacing and gave prices for everything. Very informative and helpful. BUT, the cost in my view is pretty high. I indicated I would probably hire them again, based upon the professionalism, etc., but I do more comparison shopping next time around. I had gotten an estimate elsewhere for about half the cost of this, but have not had great experience with them in the past, so was reluctant to try this other company again. I went with Harrison because they were highly rated on Angie’s List.

Went great, Brian is awesome. He came out, did an assessment, and we agreed to have the work done. He's always right on time, solid work, eye to detail, and the job was really well done. We had them take the old 100 amp panel out and replace with an all new panel with 200 amp service. They really cleaned things up and did a great job.

The service call went very well. The original call was for the non-working outlets. Considerable upselling but worth it. Dave was very professional and very personable. Small, family-owned company, exactly who one wants to give business. I would use the company again and request Dave specifically. Dave provided detailed explanations and was very thorough.

Quick. John performed the work quickly and professionally. He was punctual, professional and got the job done quickly. He ran a new wire from the new outlet to the fuse box on the other side of the basement.

Excellent workmanship and product... you get what you pay for... they are expensive but I'd rather pay more and know it's done right.

Al was wonderful, friendly, professional and fast. He did an amazing job, and explained everything thoroughly. Al's apprentice, Justin, was great too; very polite and professional. They make a great team. If I need more electric work done, I will definitely call Harrison's. You guys totally rock!!

Kevin was punctual today after the firm cancelled an earlier appointment. Kevin did a good job listening and explaining solutions. Completed work timely; pointed out additional potential problems.

They were thorough and helpful

I needed an electrician to hook up a new furnace and AC that was being installed in my home. I called several Angie's list customers and these guys were one of the few that could do it on short notice. When I asked for an cost estimate, the scheduling I spoke with said there were too many variables to give any kind of estimate. So I had to take it on good faith that their costs were reasonable. Boy, was I wrong! When the electrician came out (in the afternoon after the furnace and AC was installed) he said it would cost $912 to hook them up! When I asked him why it was so expensive, he said it was their STANDARD cost for hooking up a furnace and AC. Considering the person I spoke with on the phone said it was not possible to estimate, and then this guy shows me a catalog where the STANDARD cost of a furnace hookup is $237 and the STANDARD cost of a AC hookup is $511, I felt pretty deceived by the guy I spoke with on the phone. I would not use these guys again because they lied about not have standard costs for the services I needed (probably knowing they were going to make a killing off a guy like me), making them untrustworthy in my book. The electrician ("Al") was a nice guy and seems to have done a good job, which is why I grade them at a "C" (instead of an "F").

Harrison was able to fix a long standing electric problem we had.

I called Harrison Electric on Friday 12/15 hoping to have them install my new light fixture before Christmas. I had called four electricians prior to calling Harrison and all were too busy to fit me in, so I was not optimistic when I called Harrison. Their office answered on the first ring and was able to schedule an appointment for Monday 12/18. Al of Harrison arrived promptly, provided an estimate, and installed the new fixture and a dimmer the same morning. He also was willing to clean a high window over the front door and hang up a quilt on the wall while he was up on the 16-foot ladder. He was professional as well as friendly. The new fixture looks great—perfectly centered and at the right height. I highly recommend Harrison Electric.

Kevin and his colleague did a fantastic and awesome job rewiring the cables. Not only were they the consummate professionals but they were also very personable, polite, and client-focused. I would certainly recommend them in the future.
