Excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome. These guys work in a team of two and both men were very professional and respectful of our home. Once the system was installed it looked great and exceeded A1's guarantee of 2.7 pCi/L. I have and will continue to recommend A1 Radon Services to others, including family and friends.

We had high radon readings (above 10 pCi/L) and it dropped to >.3 pCi/L after the A1 installed a mitigation system. A1 was punctual, professional, and they completed the work in a few hours. And A1's bid was several hundred dollars less than other bids that we received. We have been recommending A1 to all of our neighbors, and I know at least one has used them to install a mitigation system.

Rob and Andrew are knowledgeable, professional and great to work with. The installation was clean, relatively fast and the system continues to operate perfectly. However, they do subcontract the electrical work out and the guys that they used on my job were late, surly, and left the attic in a mess and the job undone. (older house - tough to find grounded circuit - they had no clue how to find it) They told Andrew that they couldn't get back out to finish until well over a week later. Totally unacceptable. I told Andrew I would finish the electrical box hook up in the attic, simply plugged the exhaust fan in and then move the mountain of insulation they had piled against the eaves back into place.. He said fine and offered to refund some money. The electrician were awful but Andrew and Rob were great, so I split the difference with him. If you can coordinate with them to get your own electrical box set up. Do so. Otherwise, it is hard to imagine a better company to do the work. Very good guys.

Aaron was extremely reaponsive, professional, and honest. He identified a way to save us the electrician charge. Would hire again, possibly in new home.

The whole process went very well. Andrew was able to come out and provide an initial estimate right away, and explained what they would do. He did a great job of answering all of my questions. I had a quote from another company, doing something a little different at a somewhat lower cost. He explained why they wouldn't do it that way, but was willing to come down in price. The installation went well. The new radon test came back at 1.7 (down from 8.8 prior to installing the system). Andrew was easy to work with, and the installation of the system went smoothly. I would definitely recommend this company.

Radon was mitigated to recommended health levels

From the beginning to the end, Andrew and team were fantastic! We were on a tight timeline and budget, and I researched 8 different groups that provided this service. This group was a "best buy" for us. Technically not the least expensive, but provided both quality and coordination that was very important to us. From the beginning they were responsive, and addressed all our questions throughout the process. They were very experienced, and handled everything - including the needed electrical work and post assessment report needed for our buyers. They significantly reduced the radon to .8 - without damaging the look of the home - and guaranteed their work so we didn't have to worry about coming up with additional funds at the last minute. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up after themselves:), which was one less thing for us to worry about. We were wowed!

we started with an 11 and our house turned out to be very difficult to abate. But Andrew and A-1 Radon Services were amazing. They had to come back 5 times to add suction points, swap fans, and were always cheerful and punctual and efficient and easy to reach. Communication with them was outstanding. All listed work was done for the original price. We are so glad we did not attempt this ourselves! as our house turned out to be a difficult one. We would HIGHLY recmment them.

Selling my home and after inspection the radon level was rated at 6. Buyers required the level under 2. A1 came out and surveyed the installation and could get it installed within a week. Very clean and professional. Would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic. A quick diagnosis and repair

I got a quote extremely quickly and scheduled installation for about a week out. Install went faster than they had expected and they cleaned everything up afterwards. Andrew and his team were great at communicating everything to me and the entire process was very smooth.

I shopped several radon mitigation companies. A1 was by far the most knowledgeable. They were punctual, professional and polite. A1 actually came to the property to prepare their proposal bid. Several other companies just gave a quote over the phone without seeing the house or the structural situation. At least one of the other companies used a below grade standard for the PVC piping. A1 was very clear in setting expectations. The results of my mitigation installation were impressive. We went from 4.9 radon reading to .8. I highly recommend A1.

This was such an easy process. We worked with Andrew and he was friendly and professional. We had another Angie's List A-rated company come by for an estimate (they were friendly and professional as well), but they created two bids (one for the crawl space and one for the actual mitigation system). We were able to get a better value with A1 Radon Services as they included both the crawl space barrier and the mitigation system in one bid. We also liked that they didn't include electrical work in the bid (their idea) since the area it needed to be plugged into was going to be re-wired by our Electrician anyway. They provided an interim option instead allowing us to save money on the electrical side of things. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend to others.

I would highly recommend A1 Radon Services. From the start, Andrew was easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. Andrew and Rob arrived on time, installed the PVC pipe & fan in an inconspicuous spot both inside & out of the house, and the unit has performed flawlessly ever since. Since we spend some evenings down stairs, we feel protected. Recommend everyone have their home tested, and if needed, have A1 shield your family from radon.

I called Andrew at A1 after performing a Radon test at our house. Our results were too high, 4.3, but high enough to be concerned. Andrew was quick to swing by to inspect the layout of my house and had a quote to me within 24 hours. From there we were able to get himy scheduled to come out in under a week to install the system. After the system was installed I ran the test again and our results came back at 0.3! We could not have been happier with results and responsiveness of A1 and would highly recommend them.
