They did a great job. Very professional, very punctual, and quick responses to emails. Price includes everything required; including sub-contracted electrical per code and post mitigation radon testing to confirm reduction. They also price match competitors prices as long as it an "apples to apples" comparison. They were recommended by our realtor when we bought our house (radon level of 4.3), and we'd highly recommend them (post mitigation level 0.3).

Andy and Rob were excellent at mitigating our home. Brought our levels down from 8.6 to .2 The route they were able to install was completely hidden. They are true professionals and clearly know what they are doing. I appreciated the fact that they didn't have to spend the whole day at our house. They knew what they are doing and were extremely efficient with their time. I went with them when because not only have they been mitigating radon for years, they have over 20 years of construction background and continue to carry their builder license. I knew I could trust them with my home.

Very well! They were here a few hours and wouldn't even know it. They cleaned everything up after. Explained the entire process and how it works. Andrew took the time to educate us along the way. It took about a half-day (start to finish) to install. Although the installation ended up being messier than we expected (do to the waist-deep insulation they battled in our attic), we were pleasantly surprised by how tidy the system was once completed, and they cleaned up all the mess made during the process! We'd recommend A1 Radon Services in the future to anyone needing peace of mind when high levels of radon are found in their home.

The day of the scheduled installation, Andrew and his team let us know that they were running 30 minutes behind because their morning job was running long. When we set up the appointment two weeks ago, A1 told us they would arrive between 12-1, but revised their estimate to 1-1:30 the day of the appointment. I had no problem with this because Andrew was so quick to let us know of the change. The installation went quickly, and the cement seal around the PVC pipe in the basement is clean and level. The pipe snakes into our garage and up through the attic and ultimately out through the roof. The fan (installed by a sub-contracted electrician, which A1 organized) is quiet and well installed, too. Andrew and A1 left all work areas clean and debris-free, which I appreciated. They finished up the job by giving me an explanation of what to look for on the manometer and how to spot issues with the system. 4/28: I'll update this review in a couple weeks with the new reduced radon level. The system has to run full-time for a week before I can test the radon levels again (through a postage-paid DIY kit which A1 provided).

Great work, reliable, on-time, good value...went very smoothly and my radon system works as it should and got the level down by about 75% well into the safe zone below 4.0 pCi/L. I'd recommend working with them.

All the options of where to install the system were carefully considered. It was finally installed in an inconspicuous place. It is hardly noticeable in the basement and it is behind a wall on the ground floor. The team was very professional and faster than expected. Andrew -the owner- was a pleasure to deal with; thorough, conscientious and a good communicator. He was very helpful. I recommend this company wholeheartedly.

Very well. Although it took their staff several visits it was performed very well and they were neat and kept everything clean. The best part is the whole system is out of sight. It doesn't show. That was my biggest concern at the start.

Andrew and his crew did an excellent job . They completed the entire process in about 31/2 hours. They were prompt, neat and explained everything in detail. They even painted the roof vent the right shade of brown to match my exterior color. The left me with a radon test kit within a week I was able to record the results and when they came back lower then projected I was very pleased. Outstanding! From start to finish, A1 Radon Services is one of the best companies I have ever hired for repair services. Their name was already on the list provided by the Minnesota Department of Health and when I checked Angie's List I again found them among the top companies. I called them at 9 AM on the morning of April 7 and got an answer within 90 minutes. Two hours later one of the two brothers who own the company was at my townhouse to do an estimate and to plan the installation. Needless to say, I was nervous about the results of the radon testing, so I asked lots of questions about the extent of the changes to my home, the placement of the pipes, and the reliability of the results. I was very impressed with his professionalism, his patience, and the explanations and proposals he made. It was obvious that he was very qualified. The two owners did the work in about 4 1/2 hours on April 20. They first explained in detail all the adjustments they needed to make and why. It was obvious that they had experience in construction as well as in mitigation installation. Another plus: besides being efficient, they were also very neat! Every area they worked on was vacuumed and cleaned before they left. The electrical work (installation of the fan in the attic) was taken care of by Brothers Electric Company and was included in the price of the entire installation. I had a "stubborn" house and these guys did not give up, even though it took several trips to solve the problem. I am very well satisfied and would use them again.

It went very well, Andrew and team were great to work with. Very professional, and did exactly what they said they would do.

We had several good companies bid the job. All gave similar suggestions. We liked Andrew's approach for solving the problem. He offered two bids, one lower cost that he thought would solve our issue (which it did) and a second bid if we had to do a more extensive mitigation. He was the only company to offer us two options for solving our problem. By taking this less aggressive approach he saved us considerable money. Andrew and his partner do all the work. We like having the owner of the company on-site doing the hands on. The installation took only a couple hours and is hardly noticeable in our unfinished storage area of the basement and in the garage. They were neat and everything was spotless when they finished. We would highly recommend A-1 Radon.

A1 Radon Services did an excellent job. They thought they would have to run the system on the outside of my house due to the layout and how old it is. But they managed to find a perfect route to run it through the inside of my house, out of sight. Rob and Andrew were professional, friendly, and fast. Radon was reduced from 6.2 to 0.6
