TJK Doors

Nine years ago, Tim of TJK Doors replaced an old garage door and did a great job, so I called him again today to fix a broken garage door cable on another door, which he did for a very reasonable cost. He believes in repairing, rather than replacing - he's a straight shooter and will not try to sell you new doors that you don't need. I would not hesitate to call him again - whether to repair or eventually replace a door - and I will recommend him to anyone that asks me about a great garage door repair man. Thanks, Tim!

Tim was outstanding! I had an old garage door opener and wanted to get a new one installed. Spoke to Tim over the phone — he gave me a few different total price options (equipment and labor) and we set a time for the next day. He installed it and it works phenomenally well. Showed me how to get it set up with my iPhone and even paired it with my car. Happy to have hired TJK/Tim and I’ll be calling him for any and all garage door needs in the future.

NO CHARGE FOR SERVICE CALL OR REPAIR ESTIMATE! I was looking for garage door repair companies online and went to Angie's website and within minutes Tim contacted us. We checked his reviews while we waited for him to arrive and found them to be 5 stars. He arrived within an hour knew what was needed and when he gave us an estimate I knew it was at the lower end of the range specified online. We agreed to have him complete the repairs and even though he had a well stocked truck he didn't have the replacement parts for our job. He left to get them and returned sooner than we expected, completed the job and was finished within 3 hours from his original phone call. When other companies called they all had $100.00 service fees and when I asked one caller what the repair would've cost from his company, he quoted a $100.00 higher price. So I felt they didn't give credit for the service call toward the cost of the repair. Like all the other reviews we agree that Tim is very efficient and easy to work with. P.S. Tim even gave us a discount for a cash payment!!!

I was very happy to be able to hire Tim to replace the torsion springs on my two-car garage door. I have several rental properties, so I could not show up in person at the site. This meant that we communicated remotely. However, he showed up on-site very quickly, the work was done quickly, and communication was very fast and most importantly reasonable. I would hire him again for other properties if the opportunity arises.

Tim responded in less that 10 minutes to my request for quote and timing on the install of a new garage door opener! He was able to provide an immediate service date and upon inspection of my current opener he was upfront stating that it could be repaired and save the cost of the new opener. The savings was much appreciated, and I would highly recommend his services!

Tim was the only contractor who stayed in contact with me. He was prompt with all communications. The price was fair and the follow through (scheduling, arrival, completion) was on point. I moved into a new house without any openers installed. Tim quoted a solid product and I’m happy with his recommendations.

I contacted a different company proposed by Home Advisor. After submitting a request, I called and left 2 messages. TJK was sent by Home Advisor after 2 days of no calls. Sent a request and TJK called in less than an hour. The door was fixed that morning! Reasonable price too.

I really wanted it repaired because when it is replaced I will get a new door too and I wasnâ t ready for a new door. Tim addressed my concern and luckily was able to fix my garage door assembly. He also gave me an estimate for a new door. He was only out there for a short time and itâ s fixed. It was a reasonable rate.
