Animal Boarding Kennels
Pros:
1) Amazing hours. Have yet to find a single other doggy daycare with these hours. Open at 6 am and close at 10 pm 365 days a year! Including holidays!! This is especailly great for those of us who sometimes work longer hours, the standard doggy daycare time slot of 7-7 is not so convenient once you factor in the commute! They play this entire time too!
2) Convenient location close to highway
3) Attended overnight. Makes me feel better to know someone is there with the dogs 24 hours.
4) Just opened a new facility which seems nicer tand bigger han their previous.
Cons:
1) My dog is not as happy to go here as some other daycares. It does not seem quite as busy so maybe there are not as many dogs to play with. One time that made me really sad he held on to me when we walked into the lobby and did not want to go. The staff is also not as excited to see him as at other day cares. Not sure if that is personality traits of the staff or if they do not like my dog.
2) I did not get a tour of the whole facility. I would have liked to see exactly where my dog was playing/sleeping. How much room he had to run etc...
3) Not sure what contributes to this but my dog does not always come home worn out. Especially after a half day. After just a few hours at other daycares he is pooped so I have not figured this out. Maybe there is not as much space to run or he doesnt like the other dogs. Being that they play the entire time (no naps or anything) I am confused.
4) My dog often comes home with bites and marks on him. I undestand the dogs play and sometimes they play rough while still being friendly but this does somewhat worry me.
5) My dog always comes home with a terrible smell.
6) No cameras to watch the dogs.
Overall, this place is not my favorite but by far not the worst. If I am in a bind I will take my dog there (his normal day care tends to get overbooked), sometimes reluctancty, or if I need those expanded hours. It is probably the 2nd best I have found for the price and services offered... but I am particular and like to stick with where I know my dog absolutely loves.

So disappointed. I've been a client of Play & Stay for years. Today I picked up my two (2) dogs and the new facility reeked of urine
and feces. Staff said it was because of the holiday and that they no longer have an outdoor area for dogs to relieve themselves. This was never the situation at their former location. The new facility is also very cold, and with the cement floor, cannot be good
for the dogs -- especially older dogs. Looking for a new daycare and boarding center.

Overall, things were fine. We appreciated the last minute boarding and the dogs were well worn out when we picked them up. I will say that we've boarded at many places over the years and there was a VERY strong urine order when we walked in the building. I haven't noticed that strong of a smell at any other place we've used. We had to give our dogs a bath as soon as we got home. The building and front grass area seemed to be a bit neglected, so it didn't give off teh most welcoming vibe when we pulled up. But the staff were very friendly and helpful.

My dog is not a big fan of other dogs. They had to first put her in a small group of three dogs for playtime. By the end of the she was with a group of 20 dogs.

All the staff work very hard, are friendly and really look
after my dog. Apparently, my collie has lots of friends,
is good with the little dogs and never stops running
around. He absolutely loves the place.
I would thoroughly recommend this Day Camp.

We have been sending our two vizsla's to Play and Stay for 4+ years. If our dogs do not have a good experience somewhere they remember and don't want to go there again (i.e. such as the vet). But Play & Stay .... we just say "wanna go to Disney?" and we've got two dogs jumping like kangaroos at the door. We get a mile away and they start whining with excitment in the car. The staff is pawsome! Our dogs greet all of them with super excitment. We have also overnight boarded for a week while on vacation. They have a person there 24/7. And when we got back he told us how our dogs "sure do like to be covered with their blankets". There's no way he'd have known that if he wasn't checking on the dogs during the night. They group dogs by personality and the DON'T BREED DISCRIMINATE. Rates are incredible reasonable and no one else has the hours - 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. - 365 days a year.

My dog loves going there. He visits the facility for four hours once or twice a week. He always comes home ready for a nap. The staff really take good care of the animals. The facility rates are very reasonable and worth every cent.

We love this dog daycare. Our dogs get so excited as soon as we turn down the street the business is located on. We can hardly get them in the door fast enough. The price is reasonable and the hours are excellent. This is about 45 mins from our house but we always make the drive to drop the dogs off at this business since they are so great. We have left them for long weekends numerous times and have never had a bad thing to say about the experience.

My dog is a frequent stayer, and we love Play and Stay. They have long hours (6:30am-10pm), so it's perfect for me. They treat my dog like she's their own and greet her like she's not visited for years (even if it's only been three days) whenever she arrives. She gets to stay in an open air warehouse all day, playing with appropriately sized dogs, and isn't crated hour after hour. I found this place by accident when the other place I took her didn't have room for her one day, and she hasn't gone back to the other place since. She absolutely loves it here and doesn't even look back whenever I drop her off.
