Modernistic

It was very good and I would use them again. They were almost 50 dollars cheaper than the last person that we used. We were really happy with them. He came on time and he was a very nice young man.

Jay came out and cleaned my master bedroom and closet. He was very pleasant. I showed him what needed to be done and he did it all in about an hour. I had originally had the room painted so I called Modernistic to spruce it up for my new bedroom set. I had a couple of spots and they did a nice job.

Scheduling was a breeze (had to reschedule once and it was no problem). Technician called at 8:00 a.m. and said that he would arrive by 9:30 and he did. He did a good job and was even able to remove pet stains. It took a little over an hour to complete the job. Only negative was that he didn't move any furniture in the den and bedroom (not even a night stand, let alone the bed, (which has casters), dresser, a small desk, etc., and only took the chairs out of the dining room, not moving the table or small buffet). So he didn't clean behind a lot of furniture - even smaller pieces such as a small table with a small TV on it or a small cabinet with a printer - both angled in corners. However, in the great room, he did move the couch, chairs and end tables and put pads under the legs of these pieces. Also, I thought the Scotchguarding was overpriced -- $58 for a few squirts here and there with a weed sprayer. But overall, he did a good job and the 4 year old carpeting looks like new again.

Steve also asked if I would like the carpets scotch guarded as I had not ordered it. It hadn't occurred to me so I did appreciate it.

They were prompt and did quick work. They were quite thorough and I would use them again.

I called Modernistic out twice in the same month. Two different teams arrived on time, and performed their jobs beyond my expectations. They were scrupulously honest in pricing their services, and they did a fabulous job.

Considering the oldest carpet is 10 years old, the next to newest are four years old, I am surprised they came out so clean. I saw no point up to now for professional cleaning when I had two pets doing their thing. Thought I would have to have it replaced, but can wait now.

I gave this company a try, but I was not impressed with the care that they took. I thought they left the carpet too wet and I didn't appreciate that they didn't put anything under the legs and feet of the furniture to protect them. I will probably give someone else a try next time.

I was very pleased with both the price they charged me as well as the quality work they performed. I had to wait overnight in order to walk on my rugs again, but the sheer cleanliness of the end result was worth the wait. I don t have any trouble referring them to others and will use their services again.

They came to my house and cleaned my carpet because it was dirty and they also removed some stains. They did a good job and I also had a coupon for a discount. They were very punctual and their quality of work was great. I would recommend them.

Did a great job. Moved my couch, love site, and recliner, moved night stands in bedroom. Only took about 1 1/2 hr.

Modernistic Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning gets a 10 on a scale from 1-10. It only took them 30 minutes to complete the job. Their price is comparable to everyone else.

I have no complaints about Modernistic. They were very competitively priced and professional in their work performance. The men were neat, clean and polite. My carpets looked fine when they finished.

This company did what another couldn't seem to get done. The quality of work was excellent and they came in a very timely manner.

The job they did was okay, but not excellent. I know the carpet was already in bad shape to begin with, but when they were finished it didn t look like they put too much effort into scrubbing it clean. Also, I noticed that they didn't do the closet areas and I thought that was odd.

I had used Modernistic in the past and had been happy. This time though, one young man came in to do the job. I requested that he look at and treat one particular bad spot. I knew he could not get it out entirely, but in the past other cleaners have been able to lighten it considerably. He did nothing to the spot in question, he did not move any of the light weight furniture, he appeared high on something, and overall did a poor job.

Fine. Rep was polite and friendly. Called in morning as was told he would to narrow down time of arrival. Arrived as scheduled. Did work quickly and efficiently and then left.

Fabulous! I have used a lot of carpet cleaning companies. This one is by far the best. They use hot water extraction to get your carpets clean. I have a dog, and have used chemical companies (Chem Dry) but all they seem to do is spread the pee around which actually makes it worse in the long run. Modernistic cleaned my carpet to look like new. They were on time, friendly, and worked with my schedule. I had to reschedule twice and there was no problem. My house smells fresh and clean. I couldn't be happier!

The final result was very good. The journey to get there was long, but demonstrated the most consistent commitment to customer satisfaction I have ever personally experienced. There were problems along the way, but Modernistic was always courteous, responsive and professional, whether on the phone or with whoever they sent out to our home. Even after three visits and one chair having to go to their facility so they could figure out the best way to clean it, they still remained as strongly committed to doing things right, and to doing the right things. I was very impressed with that consistency and professionalism. I wished they had gotten things right the first time, and that is my only beef. That their service people weren't always on the same wavelength with one another about how to clean the chairs, but at the end of the day, the work they did. and I'm sure they lost money on this job... was first rate.

Called to let me know the timing when they would show up and kept me posted of delay and new time. Showed up on time. Walked through and cleaned well some furniture they would not move or even let me move.

We have used Modernistic in the past, and the guys that came to clean the carpets were prompt and polite, as usual. We were on a tight budget, as new homeowners are, and the employees helped us decide what areas needed Scotchguard. They cleaned the carpets perfectly. They even noticed that the prior owners had pets (leaving pet hair) and suggested vacuuming after the carpets dried. Upon vacuuming, we found that they did such a good job, there was no pet hair left.

The guy called first thing in the morning to schedule a time and arrived promptly. He was knowledgeable about pet stains and told us how to deal with them in the future. A couple stain areas were not completely cleaned, but I have no complaints as it was still a big improvement.

I had to reschedule my appointment three times - it was never a problem - they worked with me to accommodate my schedule each time. The technician was friendly and professional. He arrived on time, did an excellent job on my carpet and finished the work in less than 2 hours.
