I was able to get my appointment exactly when I needed it. The tech who came out was excellent! He gave me plenty of information on how to get spots out (I have 3 dogs), and did a fantastic job. So good, in fact, that I have scheduled my next carpet cleaning for the upstairs next month. This is absolutely the best carpet cleaning company that I have ever used...thorough, friendly and consumer-oriented.

Pleasant and professional when I called to make the appointment. Highlighted coupons available on company's website that provided a discount on services. Staff who did cleaning services were timely, knowledgeable and polite. Very satisfied with the quality of work. Delivery of rugs after cleaning was punctual - all furniture and rugs were repositioned by the delivery staff. Cost reasonably high, but good value for service provided.

They were very easy to contact. The person on the phone was helpful and organized. The quote she gave me ended up correct, even though I change my mind about which rooms, because of my oversize family room and hall. She told me that they would call between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m to give me a 2 hour window of service. When I said please don't call that early if you are coming in the afternoon. She said, "oh, would you rather us come in the mornng?" and I said yes. They called at 8 a.m and said they would arrive between 10-12. They arrived at 10 and were gone by 11:15. Great! And my carpet is as clean as I could expect it to be.

We needed carpets cleaned in our new house before we moved in. Carpets also needed to be stretched. Modernistic recommended we have carpets stretched before we had them come out. They offered a referral for stretching, but I already have a carpet guy, but I appreciated their recommendation and offer to refer. Carpets came out clean, tech called me 30 minutes before he came out so I could meet them at the house. I thought he did a good job.

They do a very good job and are very reasonably prices. I would recommend them to anyone. They are very professional. They come in, clean the carpets quickly and leave. They have huge equipment for cleaning. I have been very happy with them and my carpeting has been in good shape.

Good job removing several bad spots. However, when I made the appointment I was not informed that they would not move anything that had anything breakable. Also, they don't do anything near the floor-length drapes. I would have had everything prepared for them if I had been informed in advance, by emptying cabinets and tying up drapes.

I was very satified with carpet cleaning results. He arrived on time with set appointment, finished in resonable amount of time, and was friendly and polite.

The carpet cleaning company was very competent and did a very good job. The price was pretty good. They were professional and were on time.

They came a little earlier than they were supposed to. They were very good. They got stains out that I did not think could come out. They were very polite and cleaned up. I was very happy. The price was right.

The appointment was set up easily, they arrived on time and we discussed what I wanted and the coupon I had. We agreed on a price, which was close to the estimate I was given over the phone (I was still determining which spaces I wanted to have done,etc). I believe I had Steve and a co-worker there, they were very nice. After each room, he had me inspect it, and he re-cleaned any areas that I knew may be bad stain areas, and they got almost everything out-even some that have been through other cleanings, so I was pleased. Our carpet is fairly light and was pretty dirty, and I waited to post to see how the cleaning lasted. 6 weeks later, my carpet still looks nice, and my chair looks great. In the past, it seems they went back to looking grimy fairly fast. I was very happy with the service, and result, and plan to use them again.

I have a townhouse condo and the technicians cleaned 4 sets of steps, 2 landings, a rug, hall and a livingroom. I had many questions and they answered them courteously and competently. This is the second time within the year that this company has cleaned my carpeting. My carpeting is a light beige and anything tracked on shows up quickly and looks pretty bad. I am considering cleaning with more frequency to limit the amount of excessive spotting and stains. However, the scotchguard is a great protective covering and prevents the dirt from penetrating. Consequently, each time after the clean-up, my carpeting looks fantastic!! I ended up adding to my order after the technicians arrived and they were accommodating. The gentlemen were very pleasant, professional, thorough and efficient.

Modernistic provided an accurate quote over the phone, and promised to honor the online coupon. Scheduling was rapid and easy. Arrived on time as promised and fully prepared, did the job professionally and with a good attitude. Gave extra attention to dirtier spots (where the computer was sitting on the carpet, nail polish stain, high-traffic areas). Excellent results. Not the cheapest, but reasonable prices especially with the coupon.

On December 20, 2008 we had Steve Moraniec come to clean our carpet. He came when expected after calling a half-hour before he arrived. He immediately put towels on the carpet on the first floor so he wouldn't track in dirt from his shoes and put towels everywhere the hose would lie. When he started cleaning he explained how the steam, soap, enzymes, and vacuum worked to clean the carpet. He took a lot of time to make sure I understood why some stains could be completely removed and one stain(dog barf?)couldn't. He showed me how he went over the stubborn stain many times, but it couldn't be removed completely. He also put Scotchgard on everything. He did a great job on the carpet and it looked LIKE new when he was done. He also cleaned up his hose and towels. BE SURE TO ASK FOR STEVE MORANIEC!

Called and was able to get an appointment within the next day with a detailed estimate. The cleaner showed up on time, when promised, and went right to work. He moved the big pieces of furniture and most of the smaller pieces. However, I recommend that you move all of the smaller pieces you want moved or the carpet may just get cleaned around the small pieces of furniture. Also, the vacuum does not pick up the larger things on the floor, so a quick vacuum before they show up might be a good idea. He was very friendly, quick, and courteous and even helped moved furniture around to slightly new areas within the house. Our carpet was terrible and it looks 100% better, but the tough stains did not come out. Also, I wish I would have asked him to leave behind a few extra pads to put under the legs of the furniture while the carpet dried. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality, service and price. I would recommend and use Modernistic again.

I called Modernistic and arranged to have the carpet cleaned. Evan called me in the morning and arranged for a time to arrive. He showed up right on time. He was very courteous and discussed what I wanted done and which furniture could be moved. He worked quickly to protect the legs on chairs and tables and then clean the carpets. The whole process took about an hour. He checked with me to inspect the work that had been done to make sure I was satisfied. I am very happy with the results and will never again rent equipment to do it myself.

Very well, but they called 4 hours before the appointment and moved it up 3 hours. This was a problem since I had to drive to my mother-in-laws 45 minutes away.

Went well. There was a little confusion when they showed up at my house (on my side -- we weren't ready yet for them), so the driver was very courteous to work around it & come back in 1 hour which was much better for us. They did a great job cleaning the carpets, furniture, etc., working around the kids running around the house, etc.

They moved all furniture...and returned all pieces to their original positions with padding underneath to protect the carpet. I had considered doing this myself...but found they did a much better job in less time!

Very well. The gentleman was knowledgeable about the care of different fabric and textile types.

I am livid! I have their email from their customer care dept confirming my appointment. I have guests coming in 2 days and needed to have the carpets cleaned today, on the schedule that Modernistic confirmed! I called another carpet cleaning company to see if they could help and Erica at customer service worked her magic to find a slot for me on the same date that Modernistic failed to appear. I have used the other carpet cleaning company before (and also booked online) and was pleased; however, looking on Angie's List, I saw that several people had been pleased with Modernistic, so I thought I would give them a try. The other carpet cleaning company now has a loyal, lifetime customer. I will never consider using Modernistic again. 09/01/2013: I did not use Modernistic again, however I do have to compliment the person that provided the response. After dealing with another contractor that provided poor service, I realize that Modernistic's response on Angie's List was everything that it should have been. They accepted responsibility, apologized for it and offer to make it better. Kudos to the mgmt on this one.

I was impressed with the job that Dave & Nate had done. Both very friendly, (fine with my dog hanging about), & professional. The appointment was made for the next day after I called. They called ahead & asked if it would be o.k. to come earlier than the scheduled time which actually worked out better for me. All the rooms & stairs were heavily stained & thought it would be quite difficult to remove the majority of the stains, but they did. I did clear all the rooms for them except a bed & couch so as to give them better access which in the long run was a benefit for me. I will gladly use their service in the future. I hired them after reading the comments on Angie's List. Thanks.

It was excellent. The guys that came were very friendly, professional, called and let me know when they were coming, and were here on time. The price was pretty reasonable as well.

I was quite concerned whether some bad spots could be removed. I noted that the company gave free estimates, so I contacted them by email and they responded promptly. I used this company about twenty years ago for some water damage restoration, saw their A rating on Angie's List, and decided to try them again. I was able to set up an appointment online within four working days (the online scheduling allows for a 48 hour lead time). After scheduling, I had some additional questions and the company answered them thoroughly. The workers,Garcia and Nate, were on time, very professional and polite. After examining the area, they assured me that they could get most, if not all, of the stains out and that's exactly what happened! My carpet looks great! I have used various companies in the past, but was not as satisfied. I will most certainly use Modernistic again.
