I've used them quite a bit and they do a good job. They are thorough. Everything turned out to be great. I think they are reasonable.

you need to move breakables to higher places and I moved a couple throw rugs too. I asked about the throw rugs and Modernistic cleaned both of them for me. I would highly recommend Modernistic to clean. Total time was just about an hour. I only have about 900 square feet of carpeting.

Their service was very good and I was very happy with them. He was very friendly, he spot cleaned like I asked, and I was very happy with the results. It never dries as quickly as they say it will, but maybe that is just the ventilation in my house. He had a helper with him but I wasn't crazy about him because I didn't feel like he was as attentive.

We had a good experience. No problems at all. Very thorough cleaning service for our house. Took extra time to clean a spot where I had dropped laundry detergent on the carpet. Really helpful, because I had dropped the detergent a long time ago and had forgotten about it.

Everything went very well. On time and stayed till all work was done. Did not seem in a rush. Would use again. Look for coupons. They are in several flyers which I found after the work was done!

Called last week and spoke to Lisa. She was friendly but something was going on in the office when we spoke. She was distracted while on the phone. Not sure if that was the reason or not but my appointment was never logged in their system so they stood me up. Ok i gave up doing other things that night to sit and wait for someone who never showed up. Not feeling good about this. I called and left a message that night. Got a call back the next day with many apologies. They rescheduled and that appointment was kept. The carpets look clean but the guy doing the cleaning only moved about half the furniture. I thought i noticed that the chair in my bedroom hadn't moved so i asked if he was moving the furniture. He assured me he was. i trusted his answer and kept doing my own thing. then as I'm sitting in the living room and he's taking my money i ask him about a few pieces in the room that clearly have not been moved He says, "that futon couch has wheels and i wasn't sure i could move it" (?) and "no i didn't move the coffee table." no real explanation there. after he left i noticed i had forgotten to pick up a waste basked in the walk in closet. the carpet was dry all around it. He did move some of the furniture but I understood that he was to move all of the furniture unless it's full of stuff that looks breakable. I don't think a waste basket that is near empty would fall in that category. Again the carpet looks clean but I am coming away feeling like i was lied to. PS - Ms. McDonald did follow through and call me. She was very apologetic. It felt good to be believed and have her react to the situation. I will give them another shot at doing my rooms in 6 months. Thanks for paying attention.

Great experience and very reasonably priced!!

The service was great and the tech was very professional! Our carpet looks fabulous and stains we thought were our to keep until replacing the carpet came up with no problem. Even our high traffic areas look great!

we had two different teams (one for carpet cleaning and the other for hardwood clearning). Both teams were very professional, responsive, and worked diligently to get the works done. They offerred some additional products (e.g., hardwood cleaning kits) during the clearning process. Their sales pitch were not aggressive at all and I did not feel any pressure of buying unwanted products. Overall, highly satisfied and will use their service again in the future.

The carpet was moderately stained from negligent renters, so I didn't expect it to come completely clean. Yet, I didn't see much of an improvement overall, especially along the baseboards, traffic areas, and obvious spill sites. Although friendly, the carpet cleaner guy could have been more careful. After the service, I noticed many knicks on the walls and even a small chunk of drywall missing from an outside corner wall.

Made appointment by phone and got a service date and an estimate based on my description of the rooms and stairways in which I wanted the carpets cleaned. Modernistic arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and did an excellent job. Price charged was exactly what was quoted over the phone when I made the appointment.

I found them on Angie's List. It was fine and the carpets were cleaner but there were spots that didn't come out. They were pleasant to work with. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the spots but it was an old carpet and I don't know whether anybody would be able to take the spots out.

Don't use these folks unless your situation matches their coupon PRECISELY.

Our carpeting really needed cleaning because it hadn't been cleaned in a while (and most of it is an off-white color). Also during the last few years we have had a senior yorkie and a new yorkie puppy. Even though any time they would soil the carpeting I would clean it with a special cleaner for this type of stain, many stains were still visable. Modernistic cleaned our carpet within a week of my call. All of the personell were pleasant to deal with. They were very obliging and did an excellent job (also wore booties as they cleaned) . I would definitely hire them again. We were actually surprized that the carpeting turned out as well as it did. It really looks good. In fact, I've already recommended them to a friend.

Tom from Modernistic arrived as arranged, and he is a hard working man. Our carpets look great, and the odors from my beloved dogs seem to be greatly abated. The process took about two hours.

I’ve been using them for about 10 years and they’ve always been real responsive. If I have an issue, and I’ve had issues with some other cleaning where they’ve left brown spots, Modernistic always come back and make it right. They come back quickly if I say I am dissatisfied at all. Sometimes when it dries, we are on a crawlspace and I think the pad in the stuff is old and sucking up dirt, I think that their equipment is such high quality that it sucks the dirt from below and it sometimes leaves brown streaks. They always come back and fix it for me. They even clean my furniture. They just been real responsive and the guys are really nice. They are very cautious around the things in the house. They are just good guys and I like them. I have a dog who loves to rub his face on the furniture; so they cleaned the furniture for me. I didn’t ask for the last chair but they just did it. They threw it in because it was a big order and it thought it was nice. They always come on time and they always let you know exactly when they are coming. They honor their prices right to the money.
