Great Service and Job well done

It was a great experience. Friendly and quality work.

They cleaned around the furniture. The did a pretty good job of cleaning. The carpet was really bad and stained. I thought the service was as a B maybe a C. I was not satisfied because one of the guys seemed kind of arrogant. I asked him to put the hoses through the window and he refused because he said it was a liability. I didn't want him to run it through the door because I didn't want any squirrels or anything to come into the house. He was adamant and opposed to that. He said that there we could be liability or get sued or something like that. He seemed arrogant like we are "all that". They didn't move any large furniture. Some of the stains are back but I don't blame them for the stains returning because of the type of carpet it is. I don't know if I would use them again in the future. I am on the fence. If you have to put something I would say yes because they weren't bad.

Overall they were great and we would use again. The only complaint is on the final price we paid versus the quote. They charged us for a few items they didn't mention over the phone. I agreed to pay because it made sense and the overall price was fair and in line with what I expected. I made it known they should disclose the additional items to their customers in the future.

They were very good and I was very pleased with their work.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. A month ago, Steve and Skylar cleaned, sanitized and deodorized all are carpets and they look fantastic. Last week, Mark came and cleaned the tile and grout in our bathrooms. The ceramic tile looks like new and again another courteous, professional, competent and knowledgeable technician did the job! I highly recommend Modernistic for your tile & grout cleaning!

We had found out our dog was marking and we called Modernistic on a Saturday Morning for cleaning and they came out to the house in a couple of hours! That was Awesome. They were great, very professional and the fact that they came out same day was amazing.

Everything went as expected. Job was well done. No time wasted. Were attentive to my concerns and did exactly what I wanted.

The cleaning techs, Michael Kliemann and Skyler Ross, were professional, polite, and thorough. I am very pleased with the cleaning job itself. The bill, however, was $20 higher than the quoted price. When techs called to speak to the guy who quoted me, I could hear him over the phone implying that I had some kind of problem. I asked for the tech's cell and spoke to the quoter directly and reminded him that he went over the figures with me twice and exactly what he quoted. He said the "best he could do was take off $11 "trip charge" fee. I am not happy that the bill did not match the price quoted on the phone. I give the cleaning techs an A for professionalism, but the price quoter a D.

The carpets (off white) turned out great!

The tech arrived on time. I let myself get talked into getting the Scotchguard treatment. This basically doubled the price from $15 a room to $27 a room. Upon reflection I probabley should not have bought the treatment. The work went according to schedule and the acutal carpet cleaning was OK. About 10 minutes after the tech left I was coming up the basement stairs and I noticed that the carpet on two of the stairs had been pulled off the tack strip at the back of the stairs. I tried to push it back down but couldn't get it to stick. I called Modernistic and told them what had happened and was told that a manager would call me back. No callback on Friday. I called on Saturday morning and was told the managers didn't work on Saturdays. When I pointed out that the buldges on the stairs were safety problem, I was told that was too bad but there was nothing that could be done. I am writing this review on Monday August 6, 2012 at 2 PM and I still have not heard from a "manager" concering my problem. Moral of the story, "the carpeting cleaning is OK, just pray they don't break anything."

Jay performed service and was on-time and very thorough. Explained procedure and how to better take care of the carpet. I was happy with his service and will use again in the future

Excellent work performed by Steve and his assistant, Skylar....both technicians were hard working, professional and honest about what they could vs couldn't do with some of the stains. I definitely would recommend this company. I believe that Steve & Skylar's efficiency accompanied by their courtesy is a "rare" combination in today's work world.

This was the first time I had ever had carpet cleaners. My family lived in a tri-level house with tile and wood floors for over 50 years. So i was uncertain about what I had to do prepare this place for cleaning, and about what the carpets would be like afterward (wet? chemical odors? etc.).Kyle (Technician) and Travis (Assistant) were helpful and courteous young men. They called me to ask permission to come earlier than scheduled because of a cancellation in my neighborhood; that was convenient for me, and they were prompt. They explaiined what they were doing, and the limitations on removal of some old mystery stains.The job was done thoroughly and in a reasonable amount of time. I think the carpet looked better than I'd expected! I didn't have to do anything but get shoes, etc., off the carpet--no lifting (I'm in my 80s). Kyle explained that I should leave the A/C and ceiling fan on for a couple of hours, and that I could walk on the carpet as necessary wearing white socks.I was very satisfied with the workers and with the way this job was done.

They are really great and very polite and professional. They are very reasonably priced and have been in business for quite a while now. They also do upholstery cleaning and they are good at that as well.

Carlos and Trevor arrived promptly at the scheduled time, evaluated the condition of the carpet and were upfront on areas which may not clean up completely (due to severity of pet problem areas). They performed the cleaning quickly and professionally. They were able to get all the stains cleaned even better than predicted. I was very happy with the work performed and it was done at an excellent price. I would use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have used them more than once. I would recommend them. They did a good job for us.

Two men arrived at my home and I was very satisfied with how they handled the job and the work that was done. I have a small house and the price they gave was much less than some who wanted a lot more money for the same service. They arrived about 4:00 pm and they were done by abut 5:00pm. After finishing the job they went through and explained what they had done and any issues I may need to have looked at in the future. My advice is to keep the priice reasonable. I have recommended this company to my family and friends.

showed up on time and were very professional. They did show me video of the duct vents near the furnance. But I will just have to trust the rest of the house is clean, since I haven't stuck my head into the vents yet.

The vent cleaning team showed me a camera image of vents before and after. I was impressed that they actually sprayed and wipe down the vent covers during the cleaning process. I was less impressed with the carpet cleaning method. The technician was nice enough but the system for cleaning seemed to have little effect on the carpet. To be fair, the carpet is ten year old builder grade carpet. I attempted to get a little more use out of it be cleaning it sine I just bought the homew, but alas it was not meant to be and we've opted to replace it.My score would be all A's for the vent cleaning and a B- for the carpet cleaning method (no reflection on the effort or professionalism of the technician).

they where right on time, very professional, and the carpets looked great when they were done. Their price seems around average to have a well-established company to clean a large house.

I scheduled Air Duct Cleaning and Carpet Cleaning the same day, and I was impressed with both jobs. Josh and Nick arrived just before 9:00 a.m., which was wonderful! The estimated time that was given to me was between 9 and 12 a.m., so I was very happy to see them arrive early. They both were Friendly, Knowledgeable, and Professional, and happily answered all my questions. The job took less time than expected, but seemed thorough. I was able to see before and after pictures of my Ducts. What a difference! The Carpet Cleaning was done by Jeff and Anders, scheduled between 1 and 4 p.m.. and they also arrived early, which, again I appreciated. Didn't have to wait home all day. As with the Air Duct Cleaning, these guys were also Friendly, Knowledgeable, and Professional. They gave me tips on how to keep my carpet cleaner, how to treat stains, etc. And also happily answered any questions I had. Because of the carpet throughout my house being over 20 years old, only a stain or two remained, and to be expected. Still very happy with the job, overall. Because of the Coupons I was able to use, it saved me quite a bit of money, and I would call Modernistic again.

I booked and priced online (very convenient!) Immediately afterwards I got a follow-up email confirming my price, date, and time frame preferences; I was advised that I would get a phone call at 7:30 on the morning of my appointment. I emailed back that I had a coupon; and received an immediate response to give the coupon to the technician when he arrived. Sure enough, I received a phone call the morning of my appointment with a more precise time of arrival. The technician (Tim) arrived on time. We talked for a few minutes and he got right to work. He did not try to sell me any "extras" - as a matter of fact, the bill was made out before he even walked in the door! I gave him the coupon and he immediately adjusted the bill. He cleaned the carpets beautifully. I was actually contemplating replacing some of the carpet, but now it looks like new! He even got out a red wine stain that had been there for months! I will definitely use their services again. I found their prices to be very competitive.

At 1:30 PM, Senior Technician, Jay Rizzo, arrived to clean our carpeting. We showed him the areas that needed cleaning. Jay was very courteous, and he explained in detail what he was going to do. Jay asked if we wanted to have scotch guarding and deodorizing. We told him that we only needed the scotch guarding. Jay moved the furniture himself, and he worked very efficiently. Jay was able to complete the cleaning in 45 minutes. The carpeting looked like new, when he completed the job. We definitely will have Modernistic and Jay clean our carpeting again.
