Overall, they did a great job. I paid extra for the heavy duty deodorizer (for pet odors), which I don't think I would do again. Odors were not completely removed. But carpets looked great, team was on time and professional. Would recommend and would hire again.

We were pleased with the overall experience,except for the price. One price was quoted to us,only to find out that it would cost more due to having more air ducts than expected. this was not explained to us.

Great experience. One crew arrived on time and did the duct cleaning first and then a second crew arrived on time too (same day) and cleaned the carpets. All were very polite and very neat and both crews did a great job. I will definitely use them again.

Two carpeted rooms cleaned; the family room in particular was cleaned beyond our expectations. Traffic area of carpet was dirtier than we even realized until we saw the difference after cleaning. We had always used DIY carpet cleaners, and never got it this clean. One area rug and three runners that get heavy family foot traffic look like new again. Recliner, sectional and small upholstered chair cleaned. Small chair was only one that was in a great need of cleaning as it had been owned by a smoker; however the cleaning did not really help much. It still smells like smoke, but I didn't know what to expect with it. Price was reasonable. The cleaner, Mark, was very professional, quick, and left everything in great shape. We will use Modernistic again.

Used an Angie's List Big Deal to get our carpets cleaned. We scheduled our appointment date, they called first thing in the morning to give us our time window (2-4pm) and the cleaners actually showed up about 15 minutes earlier, but that was fine with us. We showed them the rooms, they told us what they would do with the furniture still in the rooms, answered all our questions, and we opted for the extra deoderizer. They finished quickly and our white carpet looks nice and clean again. We will definitely have them come out again when the carpets need to be cleaned again.

Used an Angie's List Big Deal for Modernistic to have our Air Ducts cleaned. They arrived on-time and were very knowledgeable. They gave us a rundown of what they would be doing, answered all our questions, and went to work. They showed us the video of the ducts before they were cleaned and it looked like they had never been cleaned, completely caked with dust. The after videos looked spotless. They mentioned that there had never been any access holes drilled into our ductwork, so it was very likely our ducts had never been cleaned. My wife and I were very happy with the work and will definitely have them come out again the next time they are due for cleaning (5-7 years)

This was the first time we've used Modernistic. (In the past, I've always used Stanley Steamer, but we decided to try someone new due to the location of our new house.) Overall, I'd say it was a good experience (maybe not excellent). The two young men arrived toward the end of the promised appointment window, but it was within the promised window of time. They were both very professional and were honest about what carpet cleaning could and could not do as far as restoring our carpet (the previous owner of our new home had several dogs), and they seemed to do everything they could to remove certain stubborn stains and odors. They also worked quickly, getting a pretty large job done in about an hour. I did have to ask them to redo our stairs, because after their first pass, there were still dirt marks on the stairs. They explained that it probably came from their hose as they migrated it down the stairs, which makes sense and was reasonable. As soon as I pointed it out, they took care of it. So, professionalism was not an issue at all, and we didn't expect them to work miracles... just make the carpet so we could work/play/live on it without hygeine worries (and the cleaner they used smelled very good). I did think Moderistic was a little on the pricey side, compared to what I've had in the past, and we missed a good coupon by a few days. So, next time we have the carpets done, we'll probably shop around a bit, but we wouldn't rule Modernistic out.

Checked Angie?s List for upholstery cleaning...first review got me hooked. Called Modernistic and set up an appointment for the same week as we were having company and needed the sectional cleaned asap. Could not believe they booked an appointment so fast. We have a dog and 2 small grand children...needless to say the 7 piece sectional was over do to be cleaned. The two men that came out exceeded my expectations...very courteous and professional. Made me check over the sofa to see if there were any spots they miss. Not a one.....well there was one little stain under the lip of a cushion about the size of a pin head they were concerned about...told them not to worry about it. The 3 spots on the top of the sofa where our dog lays were terrible. Didn?t think they would ever be able to get the stains out, but they did. They were here for about an hour and a half.....on a 7 piece sectional....for only $148.00......the sofa looks as good as the day we bought if about 8-9 years ago. We will be calling Modernistic to have our carpet cleaned.........Kudos to you all ....thank you very much for a job well done. ~Victoira

Modernistic Cleaning did a great job. They were very punctual, professional and fast. We are very pleased with the service we received and will have the carpets clean again next year by this company. The only warning I would give is to wait for it to warm up a little bit if you have longer carpet nap because we did experience a longer than expected drying time. But our carpets look GREAT!

Our carpet (which is over 10 years old) looks like new. They did a much better job, with great results, than the company we used previously. We will use their carpet cleaning service again and will be thinking about calling them for other services, i.e. air duct cleaning and floor refinishing.

Overall my experience was very good; from the initial call to the completion of the scheduled work the staff was very nice, professional and responsive. The work performed was very good; I felt that the company was a bit pricey, but was willing to pay the estimated cost since I had used contractors from Angie's List in the past with high ratings and have always been "wow'ed", it did not happen this time.

They did fine. There were two guys that came. They were very professional. They did the work right. They were good. There was no drama. The price was fair. We asked them to do some additional stuff so the price went up. They came out right when they said and they did what they said. They were on time.

Carpets needed cleaning and we contacted Modernistic, as we've been pleased with their work in the past. Technicians were professional and efficient. While cleaning the family room carpet, one of the technicians spotted a diamond earing my wife had lost about a month ago and returned it to my wife. We had no idea where it had been lost, but were most appreciative of the honesty of the individuals involved. We will continue to use Modernistic for our carpet, furniture, and floor cleaning.

When they came they didn't explain anything they were going do, just came into house. I showed them the furnace in the basement. I waited for them to come back up to clean the vents but they never came back up stairs, or removed a single vent cover. They claimed that service should have been taken off their website. I told them it was still there and when I walked away for a moment, then one of the workers was on my computer checking the website without even asking permission.

The technician actually arrived early, and service was completed in a timely manner.

Arrived on time. Fast and efficient. Pleasant workers. Not much of a story teller. Value received.

During our initial phone call, the company representatives set a guaranteed date for the service. The technicians called on that date to confirm a specific time and again about 20 minutes before arrival to say they were on the way. They arrived on time, went immediately to work and completed the job with no delays or downtime. The work was excellent. Everyone we spoke to from making the request for service to saying good-bye to the technicians was pleasant and courteous. This was a very positive experience. We will use Modernistic again when we need carpet cleaning.

It went great! The 2 guys that came were very thorough, walked us through the process and had no issues adding on the ceramic tile cleaning as well.
