We've used TAH for several years and have always been very pleased with our visits with them. All of the vets take plenty of time with us and explain things clearly and treat our pet gently and with patience. I highly recommend!

We have used Termperance Animal Hospital since 2003 for two dogs and our cat. Our dogs were have now passed away, but both were treated with great dignity and love. It felt like Marley and Me when we had to put down our male Lab. He had gone through bone cancer, had a leg removed and was a survivor for almost three years. When it was time to put him down, they sat on a blanket with me and my dog. They showed great love for him. Our cat is diabetic and Dr. Whitmer diagnosed her after also dealing with several other issues, including an absessed tooth. Dr. Whitmer loves our cat and has done wonders helping us bring her back to her old self.

Our cat was very well cared for and the surgery was a success. Dr. Whitmer performed the surgery - she is extremely knowledgable, and researches every possible alternative: what are the options, what's best for the pet, and how much it will cost. I felt confident in choosing the right thing for our cat and for us, and Dr. Whitmer was supportive no matter what.
I have to add that we've seen every doctor there at some point with 5 different cats (all with a unique chronic illnesses) and all doctors have been great. I would trust each and every one with the care of our pets, and with providing us with the info we need to make good decisions. Dr. Smith, however, has seen our pets the most, and has taken the time to give us special attention often over the years in dealing with our problematic kitties. He's reached out to specialists at other practices in order to help them when he didn't know the answers. 
Also: the staff at TAH are wonderful, and our cats have always been in good hands with the technicians. They're all professional yet caring. They've clipped the claws of our polydactyl brothers (no easy task!); and drew blood & took x-rays of our grumpiest ginger boy - and were very compassionate and supportive when we had to put him down, when his illness became too much for him last April.
I highly recommend Temperance Animal Hospital.

They are very personable and they take really good care of the pets. When they give them an exam, they are very thorough. We had one dog that had to have 16 teeth pulled and they were so loving and careful. That was kind of pricey.

They were very, very good. I've taken this male cat on couple of other vets in the area and those people fixed them up right away and he's been well since. It was a friend's recommendation and they actually had voluntary worked there for a time. The vet was very personable and very knowledgeable. She went all over the cat and she proceeded to correct it and then she made some recommendations for a long term fix that worked out perfectly. The staff is very polite and very knowledgeable. I've been there a number of vets over the years and they're very good. When I call up on them I get in the same day or the next day. They give me an appointment and I get right in.

My cat, who normally follows me around all morning until I feed her, was hiding out under the bed in the spare bedroom. This was not normal behavior, but I needed to go to work so I did. That even she was still hiding out under the bed and didn't appear to have moved or eaten or drank anything all day. I tried to give her some food, but she wasn't interested. The next morning she was still hiding under the bed, so I took her to Temperance Animal Hospital. The staff are very friendly and empathetic. They gave me good instructions for follow-up care and what to expect. I had to take the cat to them three times to get saline injections and a diagnosis of and quot;fever of unspecified originand quot;, so it was rather pricey between the office visits, saline, antibiotics and testing, but the cat recovered, which is the important thing. I've taken all of my animals to TAV and feel confident that they provide excellent care.

I was pleased with them. They gave her some allergy pills and also gave her something for anxiety. Price wise I find them expensive. I will use them in the future.

I highly recommend them. We were going to another vet before we went to them. My cat was having trouble with bleeding in the mouth and that vet just cleaned the teeth and told me to take him back home. I got concerned and took my cat to Temperance Animal Hospital. Dr. Smith did a very thorough examination and sent biopsies out to the lab. It turned out that my cat had a very serious disease and had to undergo surgery and have his teeth taken out. He has been on interference for two years, but I would have lost him if I had not brought him to the Temperance Hospital vet. Every time we have gone there they have been very good. They are very nice to the animals. Their techs are very nice and love the animals up. We always go to Dr. Smith and he just hugs the animals and he is so kind to them that they don't seem to be nervous. They really relate to him. I think their price is probably in line with everybody else from what I have been finding out from some of my friends. They are so nice that if you have dental work or your cat is ill, they will call a day or two days after you come home to check and see how the cat is doing. That's a follow-up call that I have never had before from other vets I have gone to. They seem to be very concerned about their patients.
