Very positive experience working with Tim Barnes. Very professional and courteous. Appointment was set up within 24 hours. Tim called to confirm the appointment and was there as promised. Provided detailed information regarding the test procedure and what would be required after receiving results. Results were available in a timely manner and as promised.

I chose smart move based on angie's list reviews.  I was totally impressed with the overall experience.  Tim was on time, gave me a brief preview of what is expected during the inspection.  He is very knowledgable and had a lot of patience in explaining all technicalities.  He sent us a comprehensive report including pictures.  He himself answers the phone and is very prompt.  Overall that was a good experience.  I recommend his services for any home buyer.

I was very impressed by how meticulous Tim was throughout the inspection. He took his time and made sure I understood every aspect of the house -- from good qualities that did not need any immediate attention to the matters that needed to be addressed / maintenance sooner rather than later. As a single woman, I was pleased with the fact that he did not talk down to me but he also did not skim over the surface or make any assumptions about my knowledge of the house. He showed me how the sprinkler system and furnace works. He also set up a radon unit to test whether there were any radon gases in the house which was comforting to know that the levels were very low and nothing to be concerned about. It is so important to have an inspection prior to purchasing a new home since it is such a large financial investment. Tim's knowledge and detailed report (e-mailed 2 days later) assured me that I was making a good decision on the right house for me.
