Steve showed up on time, showed me what was wrong with the door and the process to repair the door. He finished the work quickly and the door works great! I've used Precision in the past they are great.

The technician Jason Landis was very punctual and sent a text message with photo of himself letting me know what time he would be over. He was professional and evaluated the entire door system and gave me three recommendations. I chose having the springs replaced along with several of the hardware components based on the age of the door. In the future I would consider Precision Door.

The torsion springs failed on my double garage door , so I called Precision Garage Door for service. Their team is very professional and prompt, within a minute of making the call to their service line an operator collected my home address and dispatched a service technician. I got a second text an hour later saying my service tech was on route to my house, he called me to say he was on his way and their trucks are GPS equipped so I got automated text updates telling me when he was coming and you could even look and see his real time location on a map. The Service call went smoothly and the tech was courteous and professional. He looked at the failed parts and then gave me the job of $700 estimate for replacement of 2 torsion springs , 2 pulley support bearing and 10 door rollers. Job took him one hour to complete. Given that the torsion springs had failed and I could not get my car out my garage, i accepted the work estimate and he completed the repairs immediately. I paid with my credit card and got an email of the invoice a few minutes later. I am fine with paying $90 of labor for 45 minutes of work by the service tech, but the per unit pricing they charged for the replacement parts were ridiculous, 2 to 3 times higher than the online / internet retail price of comparable replacement parts. For example the torsion springs were $160 each vs typical online retail price of $60 , similarly the pulley bearings were $65 each vs typical online retail price of $20. Same for the 5" door rollers I was charged $18 each vs typical online price of $5-7. Seems unlikely there is a part shortage for garage door repair parts due to COVID-19, since all of the online retailers I looked had these items in stock, so I really cannot understand why the prices of the replacement parts are so high, other than outright greed. Given that garage door repairs is all this company does, they would be buying these parts in large enough quantities to get them at Whole Pricing which is usually 40-60% less than Retail store prices. I understand in extraordinary circumstances, emergency repairs may necessitate charging a premium to the customer for repair parts but that in cases where repair parts had to be expedite delivered or the service tech had to leave the job site to go and fetch the parts. These are routine repairs and the service tech i spoke with does 5 to 7 door repairs per day, everything he needed to finish the job in less than one hour was stocked on his truck. Its kind of terrible that I had to rate this company of a C grade overall, their service team is stellar and deserves an A+ but their pricing for replacement parts gets them an F grade.

Technician (Caleb) was on time, explained the work to be done, and promptly completed the work.

I wish everything was as simple and easy as this experience was! I called yesterday and we had someone here today, less than 24 hours later! Caleb was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It was determined that we would in fact need a new garage door opener. He gave us some options and then installed the one we chose. Great service! I hope it will be awhile before we need any more garage door services but when we do I know who we will call!

From the begging to the end of the project things were done professionally, on time and in a polite manner. The installation technician Jon Lyons was courteous, on time, efficient, and did all aspects in a professional manner. He installed the new garage door by himself in less that 2 hours. I expected two people to do the installation and take longer. I am very happy. One of the best contractor experiences I have had in a long time. Thanks Precision

Excellent! The technician was courteous and professional and did a quick repair job (about 90 minutes, which is what he said it would take). Hopefully, I won't have to use them again, but know who I would call if I did.

I am impressed with the excellent professional service received from the initial meeting with sales rep and purchase of garage door on site, willingness of office staff to answer followup questions prior to installation, and then the installation by the service technician (Jon Lyons). Jon was very competent and knowledgeable. I was amazed how he was able to replace my old door within what I thought was a short period of time! It was apparent that he was experienced and confident. He was focused on his work and yet personable and willing to respond to any questions that I had. My overall experience with Precision Garage Door has been excellent and would recommend them highly.

Excellent. Steve & Mike called to say they were coming earlier than expected. Very professional - followed Covid protocol. Installed new door & opener. Cleaned up entire area. Thoroughly explained the workings of the door & opener -- maintenance - cleaning - programming & reprogramming & how to connect to smart phone.

Mike did a great job explaining what needed to be done, why it needed to be done, and did a quality job on the repairs.

Everything was good except the price. Turned out to be approx $75 higher than the competition. Tech did show up late but I was advised he was running behind.

The Gentleman that came out (Mark Kucel) was very informative and cordial and made an excellent presentation. The company lived up to all their promises as to appointment times and was very reliable in terms of communicating with me. Unfortunately, I did not take their service and offer. The price of the door was almost twice what I was quoted from another company that I had worked with before. And the company was not able to install the door for another 6-8 weeks. My former worker was able to install it the same week, it is installed and working fine.

Mike J. was very friendly and professional. He checked all the brackets to see if they were showing signs of wear. He ended up replacing 5 brackets. Appreciated his honesty and his explaination when he finished the work.

Stephen Freitas is highly professional, personable and efficient in repairing my garage door. When he left my 50 year old garage door opened and closed like new. I would highly recommend Stephen and his company. Outstanding service! 5 stars!
