Both plumbers were knowledgeable helping me to plan out future work. I will definitely call Al's Plumbing (on Linwood) again.
"This customer's description is not accurate. The following is an accurate statement of what took place based upon a written receipt that the customer has in her possession. We were out on 6/09/11 and ran a cable into the underground waste line in her basement. We tried to open it from two different clean outs and determined that the pipe was broken under the floor. Although the drain might work for while, we told her that the floor would have to be broken and the pipe replaced. All of the above( and more) is on the receipt that was given to her. On 6/13/11 another crew went back to her house because she had called that the drain was again backing up. They ran the cable again and also discovered that the pipe was broken. She was NOT charged for this second attempt at clearing her line! She was given an estimate of $ 2500.00 to break the floor, replace about twenty feet of pipe, re cement the floor. and haul away the debris. If she was able to have a proper job done for $ 800.00 so much the better for the customer. But we do not know if the other person was insured, licensed, or what he replaced nor do we know the quality of work and cleanup that was done. In summary we did much more than just"looked at" her project ; the charges were for the work that was done. On top of everything she was not charged for the second crew's attempt to open this line."
"As I recall we took care of the minor items that the Inspector wanted within a few days of being notified.. Since our first job for this customer we have done work at the same house once or twice a year."
