Galloway Building

I paid this contractor 2/3 of the total project cost up front, with the remainder due upon completion.  He spent three partial days on the job and then I never saw him again.  He always had different excuses for why he couldn't be there.  I'm in the process of taking him to small claims court to get my money back.

We paid $2300.00 for materials and a portion of the labor. After 3 weeks, we hadn't heard anything (and of note, he cashed our check at our bank the very next day after we paid him). We called a few times with no return call. Initially, we were cordial because we were just wanting an update. But, after a week with no return call, my husband told him we want our money back or our windows. We still have NOT been able to get him to call us back. Have left several messages, several emails, 1 certified letter and 1 first class letter with no return call. He has our money, and we have no windows with no idea of if they had ever even been ordered.
