I got estimates form 4-5 roofing companies and Excell's price was significantly lower. I checked out references and reviews and they all came back good so I went with them and was very satisfied. The job entailed tearing off three old roof layers and the work was completed in 3 days. It took a little longer for the new gutters to be installed but they eventually got done and that work was done well too.

There was a heat wave when the job was scheduled to start, hence the start date was pushed back a few days. The supplies arrived one day and the workman the next. The crew arrived and started working. The did a great job all my neighbors gave rave reviews about the siding. The authorities in Baltimore City were ruthless about having the required permits, none were obtained before the work began. Excell took care off all permits needed as they arose. It was well worth the cost.

Went great, took a long time to get the product but that's because I had a lot of custom windows and waited for a new siding type from Certainteed. Owner required little money up front and wanted nothing until the job was complete A pleasure to deal with and I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the last few years.

The company did come out and perform the work however after performing the work I was in my attic a few weeks later I was in my attic and noticed the wood roof was wet. I called the company and after several attempts reached them.I explained the problem and finally got them to come out.The company tried to blame the problem on other things and I said if that was the case it should have been found on their initial inspection and addressed before any work began.They finally replaced that part of the roof but wanted me to pay for half of the materials.I refused stating that they gauranteed their work and the repairs should be covered under the gaurantee.The owner,Todd called me and demanded I pay for half of the materials used for the repairs.I again refused stating that I had a 10 year gaurantee and the job was not performed satisfactorily the first time.Todd then got extremely angry cursing and calling me names and said the gaurantee was now null and void and he would no longer honor it.He then hung up on me.I was at a home show the following year with my wife,daughter and grandson.Todd saw me when I walked by his booth and he immediately started bad mouthing me and cursing at me.The man working with him also joined in and actually asked me to go outside and fight.I refused and asked him to quit cursing in front of my family;he said no and said he didn't care about my family actually saying f_ _ _ off.No family should have to put up with that kind of aggression and verbal abuse that is why I am making this report.Thank you.

We were impressed with Todd and Excel, very professional and a good price, they were recommended to me by a friend that just had his roof replaced and he was similarly happy. We ended up not going with Excel but only due to the fact that the person we went with had more referrals in our neighborhood, had it not been for that we would have gone with Excel.

A thorough quote was provided and the job scheduled. Work crew was prompt and very professional. Job was completed in a day. The area was cleaned up very well. A $50 deposit was required, and the balance was paid upon my satisfaction of the work completed.

The service was excellent. The price was very good. The coordination of the jobs was excellent. They were professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend them and use them again.

I wasted my time by calling this company, because I never received my estimate.
