Description of Work: I made an inquiry about adding a line to my electrical panel for a hot tub via Angie's list mail and never heard back. So far two tries on Angie's list Two failures.

Description of Work: I had a ceiling fan installed in my living room. Unfortunately, there was no existing lighting in the position, so wires had to be run through the walls which meant several cuts that needed repair. Since there was no other way to do the job, this does not reflect badly on the Certified Electrical. The electrician was very professional, offered options, and made as little mess as possible. He even moved my fire alarm into a new location for me. Overall, my experience was great! Since I have a number of electrical to-dos, I am sure I will be contacting them again.

Description of Work: I have used Certified before. I had some electrical outlets that were not working. They came and found some loose wires in one outlet. The replaced the GFI in the outlet and reset the other outlets

Description of Work: The service technician came to check on some gfi outlets that were not functioning, a whole circuit was out. He quickly resolved the problem, was very helpful and informative. He fixed that so fast, I asked if he could check out our main circuit breaker box to make sure everything looked OK. He took off the cover, indicated the equipment was excellent, checked and tightened connections, and stated that it was in better condition than the vast majority he sees, well maintained and working as required, with extra room for growth, should it be needed. I then asked, if he had more time in order to put in some replacement hard wired smoke and CO detectors for me. He did, and verified they were working correctly. All done in less than an hour, very friendly, efficient, courteous, and knowledgable. I will definitely use this company again. Very pleasant experience, and good people to work with.

Description of Work: Electrician fixed a broken outlet and two light switches. Despite a morning appointment falling through due to not enough time (he arrived 15 minutes before the end of the time frame and I needed to leave) the electrician made sure he returned later in the day when I was free and completed the job. This was also despite him having to park a bit far from my home due to road work being done on my street. I was impressed by his efficiency and was pleased with the work

Description of Work: We had two bathroom lights over the medicine cabinet moved approx 6" in order to center them. We also had a new electric outlet put into the bathroom.

Description of Work: This company provided excellent service. The task invovled removal of three 30year old ceiling fans, replacing them with new ones. Due to the age of the replaced items, wiring and updating of electrical connections and junction boxes was needed. The technician was prompt, courteous, thorough and skilled in completing the task. He handled challenges effectively without complaint. I would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: Installed 4 LED recessed lights. Did all the work in the 2hours I purchased from Angie's List. We provided the lights and switch. It went fast because there was already power in the ceiling that was easy to re route. They did an excellent job!

Description of Work: Last December 2011, I used this service and they handled the job pretty well. This month I saw another Big Deal from this company and I was happy to buy a coupon and retain their services again. However, after purchasing the coupon for service and making the appointment (8/31/2012), they called back to cancel because they do not service my area. That's not true because they did before. What happened is that they did not have the capacity to service Angie's List clients. So they scaled back and (unprofessionally) told customers that they did not service the areas. They should limit the number of coupons if they do not have the capacity to do the job.

Description of Work: Certified came in to install additional lighting in my mother's kitchen. They arrived on time, and did a great job. The job took longer than expected, but they didn't charge us extra. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: The technician who came out was great! Albiet, only the GFI was off, I could tell that the technician would be able to fix the problem. He was very professional. I do have to say that the initial call to the office was a little unpleasant. It sounded like perhaps that person was not the one who normally answers the phone. I would call them again, and just hope that I get someone different who answers the call.
