They arrived right on time --- in fact, a few minutes early. They were professional, friendly and efficient. They even put on booties because their shoes were soiled from a previous job and did not want to get the floors dirty. They couldn't have been nicer.

They were fantastic. They were professional and very helpful. The cost covered an entire truck full.

Two young men called 15 minutes before arriving and was shown the items to be removed. They gave me a estimate, I agreed and they proceded to remove the junk. It was done in several hours.

Prompt initial return call, accurate estimate over phone, near-date appointment, arrived exactly at appointed time, two men professional in appearance and conduct, rendered efficient, energetic, polite service. Carried furniture upstairs and downstairs with no damage to walls, everything left clean and tidy. Pleased with job, and relieved to have house less cluttered.

They were extremely efficient, no time wasted and very careful. They cleaned up the accumulated debris that was left after the moving, so that my attic (after 42 years) looks like a new house. I am very pleased with how careful they were of my furnishings as they carried all the junk through my house and out to the truck. I will certainly use them again.

Frank Coyne called me back immediately and set up an appointment for the next day arriving exactly on time. He took measurements of the various types of debris and got an estimate to me by the end of the day. He started work several days earlier than anticipated and hauled everything away in two trips. Although I would never have known the difference, there was less debris than he'd estimated, so he charged me less than the estimate. I can't say enough good things about my experience with this company.

Great! The appointment was made and confirmed via email, so I'm not sure how the workers still managed to show up an hour early. That wasn't a problem, though, because I was ready for them. (Besides I'll always take "early" over "late.") The two guys worked quickly in the rain to remove the material, were courteous, and I'll call Junk In The Trunk again if I ever need such work done.

I called and left a message for Junk in the Trunk after seeing the rave reviews on Angie's List. Frank Coyne called me back promptly, listened to my list of items, gave me a fair estimate, and scheduled an appointment the following week. He and an employee came promptly (early, actually). They carried away large, awkward, ancient, broken, and dusty furniture (including two 6x3 coffee tables, a rattan bed, round oak dining table top). They had to negotiate from the very back of the basement through other stored items, through 2 very narrow doorways, up steps and narrow pathway into the alley, where their neat, well marked truck was parked. Frank and employee were careful, skillful, swift, and obviously experienced. The items were bulky, the weather was horribly hot, and yet they were nice, pleasant, and good-humored throughout. Frank honored the Angie's List discount coupon plus giving me a senior citizen discount. I had tossed in a couple of extra items, and still, the final cost was LESS than the already reasonable estimate. The whole job was completed in about 30 mnutes. I paid with a credit card. I would definitely recommend this company without reservation. I plan to use them again. It was a totally satisfying experience. PLUS I can see the back of my basement for the first time in 20 years.

I contacted Junk in the Trunk on Friday, July 9, and received a prompt reply. Frank Coyne, the owner, said the next available time was Wednesday, July 14, but they could try to fit me in on Monday, July 12. They have an online chart for estimating cost, which is very helpful. He was able to give me a ballpark estimate via email, with the understanding that a more precise estimate would require someone to actually look at the material. Frank said people would be here between 2 and 3 on Monday. The workers phoned to let me know they might be late when they encountered traffic on the Beltway. (They got here on time anyway.) When the workers arrived, they provided a detailed estimate, which I accepted, and they went to work. While they were working, it began pouring rain, and they worked through the rain. Frank Coyne himself arrived after a while to help out, and the work was completed within a couple of hours. Although the amount to be hauled was a bit above the estimate, they charged me only the estimated cost. Bamboo is very difficult to deal with, and they handled it well. It was not part of the requirement to clean up the ground after removing the cut bamboo, and in fact I specified at the time that they didn't need to do more than haul just the cut bamboo, but they raked and cleaned the area anyway. The workers were professional and cheerful, and I was thoroughly impressed. I will definitely use this company again, and I have already recommended them to friends.

Two young men arrived in a pink truck, right on time, and provided an on-the-spot estimate, allowing me to decide whether to include a large pile of brush or not in the job (I decided that I would just cut it up and not pay to have them move it). They were clean, polite, efficient, and got tipped well. Their initial estimate turned out to be high, and so I got charged less than I originally thought it would cost when they started the job. It took them about 30 minutes and was a complete bargain, considering the alternative of having to rent a truck and find a dump site and do all that heavy lifting myself. I will use them again, and in fact have another pile of concrete accumulating for them. . .

I called Junk in the Trunk to haul away some construction material after our ceiling fell, as well as some yard waste from the spring prunings. I left a message on their answering machine and was called back shortly thereafter. We easily arranged an appointment and I was told that their crew would be by around 1 pm to do a walk through, give me an estimate and take away my junk. The crew was early and went over the estimating process quickly and clearly. I gave them the go-ahead and they loaded up the truck. They worked quickly and professionally, despite the fact that they ran into a couple of garden snakes. Because of the heavier construction waste, I was assessed an extra fee. It turned out that the much lighter yard waste balanced out the weight per cubic foot. First thing Monday morning, the owner called and explained that they would be sending a check for the money they did not need for disposal. The customer service and their work was excellent from start to finish. I would certainly utilize their services again in the future.

Simply excellent. The owner came over the same day I called to give me an estimate. He was friendly, we walked over what I wanted removed, and he quoted me the price on his website for half a truckload. We set a date and time a couple of days later, the guys were here early. They were quick and efficient. The owner underestimated the amount of space required, in fact it took up the entire truck instead of half. However as per the company's policy, I only paid the amount originally quoted for half a truck. Well run, classy operation that I would not hesitate to use again.

JITT was great to work with. They give estimates based on how much space in their truck that your stuff will take up, and these rates are also posted on their website. they were responsive to phone calls and emails. They arrived on time, and the team worked very quickly. We had some awkward items like huge broken mirrors, and they handled everything with no problem. If we ever need junk hauled again we will be using them!

They actually arrived early, did a walk through estimate before they started to move anything. Once we gave them the approval, which was in range with what we were expecting, they were in and out in 45 minutes. Once they were finished, they had us do another walk through to make sure they got everything. We're very happy with the experience.

Everything went as planned from beginning to end. Frank is always on time, personable, and has great communication skills and a sense of humor.

A great experience and I would definitely use them again! Although they were late, they called in advance and apologized repeatedly, so they still earned their A for punctuality in my book. The stuff was spread around my basement, so it was a bit hard to estimate the costs at first. However, the final price was much lower than expected, so I'm certainly not complaining! Friendly responsive workers too. I'll happily hire this bunch again. Geez it's nice to get good service nowadays! PS for your most on-target estimate, I'd suggest moving everything into one area as much as you can.

Professional and efficient. Called and set up an appointment over the phone just a couple days ahead of the day I needed the junk removal. On the day of work they called and said that they were running ahead of schedule, which was OK by me. I showed the workers the various piles of junk, they provided an estimate that proved to be accurate. They were flexible in that I was able to add items up to the truck capacity they quoted me.

It had to be cut and pried apart. They were respectful of the other furniture in the room, walls going down the stairs, and rugs. They cleaned up after themselves, didn't do any damage, charged what they said they would charge, and took down some window treatments that were not part of the deal and didn't charge more for that. They were great! I will definitely use them again.

Over the phone, Frank was courteous and explained that it would be best if when he arrived, he would take a quick survey of the work needed to be done, give me an estimate, and if we agreed, he would do the job. We scheduled for Sat, Jan 30 between 8:00-8:30 am. Later in the week, due to impending snow expected Fri night into Sat, I rescheduled for Fri, Jan 29 at 12 noon. This morning, Frank called and due to a schedule change, he and Albert would be able to come within 30 mins instead. They arrived around 10 am. They did a quick survey of the work needed and gave me a reasonable quote of under $400. The final amount of $475 reflected the "on the spot" work of removing the wooden panels from my basement and hauling away items from my neighbor's garage. My neighbor's items were nominal ($25-35) and I told them to add it to my bill. After they finished, Frank made sure I was pleased with the work by doing a run-through of all the areas that had items to be removed. He even swept the garage and left it cleaner than it was before they came!

Very smooth. They responded quickly to my message, showed up exactly on time and got the junk out in about 1.5 hours. Totally painless.

Emailed for an estimate on Tuesday afternoon - Frank replied by email within the hour. His estimate was competitive, and they were able to do the work on Thursday, so I scheduled the job. They called on Thursday morning to let me know they might be a little late due to traffic, but still arrived within 5 minutes of their scheduled time. They had the hot tub loaded and the patio swept up within 20 minutes. Frank even took an additional $40 off his estimate because the hot tub was not as heavy as he expected it to be. They were prompt, pleasant, and professional from start to finish.

They are very good. They cleaned around my mother's house and it took them 2 visits to get the work done. I also had them come back to demolish a garden shed about a couple of days later. They were prompt, professional and did a good job. They showed up on time all 3 times and they got rid of some stuff. They were polite and their prices were reasonable, but not cheap. They were responsive and if need be, I would hire them in the future as well.
