we were lied to ,gave oscar a deposit to order stone for interior wall waited 5 weeks and finally got a hold of him found out material was never ordered. we told oscar to return our deposit and he agreed . we have texted him over 6 times and each time he said he was to busy,sick,or did not get to bank in time. this has gone on for over 3 weeks and still have not recieved our deposit .you cannot trust this man for his word you will regret it. we have now retained legal action to get our money back will never do business with him again.

The patio looks good. There are parts that were not done properly. Make sure your contract spells out exactly what you get, because his promises are empty. He will delay and delay so don't pay before the job is done or he will lie and cheat you out of work.

We would like to say thanks again to Oscar and his staff at Solid Brick Contractors, LLC for the beautiful paver work around our 27 year old pool. Your quick call back to coordinate a start date was greatly appreciated and completing the work prior to our grandsons 7th birthday party was a bonus. Oscar made several suggestions regarding layout and accents that made the area perfect. It is like having a new pool again.

Oscar and his crew did a great job installing our patio pavers and constructing a planter wall with lights. We were very pleased working with this company from start to finish. They did such a wonderful job that we are in the process of setting up an additional landscape project with Oscar this Fall. We highly recommend this company.

SP came to collect the money when they were done. The job was not completed. There was some trim left undone. The pavers were not put in correctly, they started sinking a few weeks later. sinking. They were supposed to cut some stone. I called him. He said he was going on vacation but he would send someone out. He never did. We paid a total of $24,500.00, the full amount of the project. If he cannot complete the work, we need some of the money back so we can get the project completed. Update: The contractor did come back and finished the job properly. There was a lack of communication throughout the project

Very professional, great advice during planning stage, and throughout execution of my patio extension and sitting wall. Made the old blend with new to look like one job. Followed up with necessary touchups. Would hire again.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Oscar from Solid Brick Contracting. Very poor workmanship, no attention to detail at all. If you did not alert him of the issues he and his team would just leave at is, even if it was completely messed up. He got loud and aggressive with us, when we found the paver issues he caused, his response was I am not God I am not perfect. Here are some of the issues we had. Issues with our pool coping which his team had to keep fixing and redo multiple times and is still not fixed after roughly a year. His team caused major flooding issues in our yard because they never measured slope, just did it by eye. We also had major water in our basement because they installed our window wells incorrectly and never put a pipe for the drain and is actually required by code. The whole job had poor paver cuts which he said, do not worry the polymorphic sand will cover up the poor cuts. Literally, some of the cuts he did were almost an inch off, he wanted to fill them with sand. He missed approximately 10 appointments over the last year with over half of them not even calling. Most of the time his team was here with not one person speaking English so communication was extremely difficult. It has now been almost a year and he still has not fixed the issues he kept promising. I would not recommend Solid Brick Contracting at all, does not stand by his work all.

Oscar and his staff were outstanding from start to finish. We signed a contract and expected to start in several weeks. Several days before construction of our wall started Oscar called to let us know construction would start on the upcoming Monday morning. Monday morning Oscar personally showed up, delivery of the stone occurred. Oscar kept in touch throughout the process. His staff we craftsman and did a high quality job. I highly recommend Oscar and Solid Brick contracting.

Very friendly workers. They did a phenomenal job on my retaining wall! They cleaned up when they were done and didnt leave a mess. I no got other quotes similar to the one they gave me but they werent going to do half the works these guys did, If i ever need hardscaping again i will definitely call Solid Brick. I highly recommend them!

I absolutely love my patio and stonework, and I have given his name to many others who have used and loved him as well. I canâ t recommend him enough! Oscar and his team were highly professional and skilled in brick masonry. Our old retaining wall had to be partially demolished and a new wall built. They were able to match the brick and the pattern so that the new wall is a beautiful match and looks seamless. The work was completed in a timely fashion and all areas of the contract were met. We will recommend this company to our neighbors and use them again when needed.
