Excellent - very professional. We already used them again (bees this time).

The initial phone call went very well. I was able to get answers and information quickly and the staff were great in being flexible as I live out of State and a friend helps manage the house. The tech came out to do the initial inspection and estimate and there was no pressure or out of line recommendations. We scheduled the first service but of course the day before our water heater exploded. NW Pest was great at rescheduling us and very helpful. So far they have been very good to work with and I am happy!

NW Pest has certainly scored in the good will department. They responded immediately, correctly diagnosed our problem, and didn't charge us a cent. WOW!

Kevin was terrific- nice guy, knew his stuff, and was professional. He asked questions about the type of bugs we saw, explained why we were having problems with those particular bugs at this particular time, and offered a strategy for getting rid of them. He was very encouraging when I asked for green (family safe) solutions, as I have a young child and an indoor cat. We decided to use strong chemicals outside and cedar oil inside, and it worked beautifully. I was afraid for the woodwork inside when I saw the oil, but he was correct when he said it left no stain or residue. And the house smelled great! It has been a month, and the bugs haven't returned. To top it off, I saved $35 with a coupon from Angie's List!

Overall, I thought the visits went well. They did not necessarily phrase their comments in such a way as to make my wife feel better about the situation, but in the end they did reduce our pest problem to the point where it is bearable.

Overrun with carpenter ants. Needed immediate service. They were the only company I called willing to come the same day. Exterminated the inside of the house and returned another day to do the outside. Had requested the same person do the outside, but someone else arrived. When this other person realized the extent of the problem, he requested the original person complete the job. This was done. So far, excellent results.

They came and gave an estimate first thing Monday morning. They were very thorough in looking for any problems. He found a spot of old termite problem under the riser of the basement stairway. Another company was not so thorough which is why I choose NW Pest. They were able to come the next day and spray and set the mice traps. The application time was very quick and I was told what to expect. A week later some ants are still appearing although on their last breathe.

Years of peaceful coexistence with squirrel families living on my soffit returns were shattered when a rogue squirrel moved into the neighborhood. The little rascal was gnawing on my house and then flinging pieces of vinyl siding & insulation board off of the roof and into my garden. Tired of picking up little pieces of foam board around the yard and thinking that it was just a matter of time before the squirrel gained entrance to the attic, I called NW Pest Control. After taking some basic information, the scheduler was able to give me an appointment within two days. Dave, the NW Pest Control technician, arrived on time, assessed the situation and made suggestions for handling the problem. I opted for the conservative route in terms of both cost and consideration for the squirrels (didn't want to trap them). After I decided what I wanted to do Dave was able to do the work then and there. Out came the ladder, etc. and the work was completed in no time at all. It was great, there was no need to set-up another appointment. The only thing that I would like to have seen were more options for patching up the damage to the siding (other than caulking). That said, my overall experience was very positive...the office staff and technician were extremely courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to use the services of NW Pest Control again.

I was very pleased with their work and the tech Justin who was very helpful with TWO wasp nests... he even donned a bee suit for the very big and very angry nest in the backyard. I discovered the second nest a day after their arrival for the initial treatment... Justin returned and rid us of the second nest I found while securing the outbuilding that holds our oil tank. Great job and great employees! I would recommend!

After noticing bees going into the house next to front stairs and then seeing "sawdust" on sill area in basement I called NW Pest Control. Within a day or two a technician came to check the situation out. After taking the time to explain things to me and answer questions I decided to have them do the work and called the office to schedule a time. There was a little confusion about what I needed to have done but the office personnel got the info that was needed and called back in a very timely manner to schedule a time for me which was within about a week. The bees nest, however, was removed the first day the technician came out. My only concern was that after the technician left I noticed a large wet spot at the bottom of my cellar stairs which I assumed was related to the bee treatment. Overall, a positive experience from beginning to end. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I liked that a folder of information was provided for me.

NW Pest did everything they promised, when they promised it. The estimator arrived on time, walked around the house with us, asked pertinent questions, and thoroughly described his recommended treatment. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He wrote up the estimate before he left. We decided to go with NW Pest and called to get an appointment. The schedulers were courteous and accommodating, and were easily able to schedule the service at a time during a 3-hour window of time convenient to us (a Saturday morning). We had to reschedule because of rain, and that was also easy. On the actual day of the service they called to say they were on their way at the beginning of the time period they had specified. Like everyone else, the service person was also friendly and efficient. He answered our questions, went about his work, and let us know when he was done. Before he left, he told us what to expect from the treatment. The company left an excellent impression as a customer-centered, professional outfit.

Don't let the tattoos scare you, Paul Duplessis was great! Paul was polite, thorough and extremely informative. He educated me as he did his inspection and made recommendations while not trying to over sell me on maintenance programs.

Went very well. No further evidence of racoon in crawl space. Very satisfied with their work.

It has been almost two months now and we can finally sleep in peace without having to listen to squirrels run around all night. This company is extremely professional. The charges were very reasonable for someone who had to climb on the roof (in winter) and come back several times. This is a great company and I highly recommend them.

They explained very clearly, in non-technical language, what was going on. They were fully informative and courteous.

Did a good job screening. Did not catch wood chuck. I do not believe the used the right trap and the left gaps through witch the wood chuck could escape. Did not show up for initial meeting. Did not make it clear to me that they would destroy garden near porch. If they had I would have removed some plants to replant later.

We had a bit of a problem, an in-ground hornets? nest, which they were able to get rid of.

This company is awesome. I can call them anytime and they will find out who is in my area and try to send someone out immediately.

They came out and fixed the problem. They also came back to check if everything was ok. The person who came out was very responsive, punctual, knowledgeable and respectful. He took care of my pets and made sure that they did not have any problems. His pricing was fair and the quality of his work was good.

Having just moved into a new house, I was upset to find that I had a problem with yellowjackets. These critters had built a nest in the wall space between my front and my dining room/family room, and I had sprayed multiple times with bee/wasp killer (foaming, non-foaming etc). I was finding dead yellowjackets all over my house (as well as some live ones), and since I have young kids, I finally caved and called a professional. The guy came out for a free estimate, but when he saw the situation and the opening to the nest, he gave it a dusting for free, and the yellowjackets never came back. Within a few days they were gone for good. I would have tipped the guy more, but that was all the cash I had on hand. Thank you, NW Pest!

I found some bugs in kitchen cabinets and asked for advice/estimate. The bugs were immediately identified, and I received advice on how to handle the problem myself, along with an estimate on what they'd charge if I ultimately decided I needed their assistance.

Dave arrived on a Thursday and gave me a reasonable quote for the job, he also informed me that they will not set up traps so close to the weekend. On Monday he attached a one-way door to the eves for the pups and put a few live capture traps for the mother. He came every morning to check the traps and after 3 days he had 5 baby squirrels along with the mother. He covered the hole to make sure that no animals would return and guaranteed it for a year. A successful trapping and a happy customer.

My experience with them was not very good. Initially they quoted $550 but I talked them down to $400. They were not responsive. They did not call me back immediately. Later I was able to contact them. I had my girlfriend go out and meet the guy. He was rude to her. He said that he would be there between 12 and 4pm. There were bees flying around the house on one of my properties. They could have been hazardous to my tenant. He said he would call me about half an hour ahead. He called me at 2 pm. I missed the call so I called him back repeatedly after 2.15pm. He did not answer the phone. I thought he must have reached the house and must be on the job. However, he was not there either. I called their customer support and told him that I was an unhappy customer. I let them know that I was an Angie?s list member and would be putting in a report on them. He responded by saying that someone would be there in 10 minutes. The guy who showed up was rude. He did about 10 minutes of work. He did not do what he said he would do. He asked me for the payment. After having an argument with him on my front lawn, I got on the phone with his boss. I thought I was going to have a fist fight with this guy. It was ridiculous. I paid him $100 in cash and paid him a check because I did not want him to know my address. I will not use them again even if they give me a $100.

They were polite. I appreciated that they made special effort to use organic compounds after seeing that I had cats in the house; they made a special call to let me know that they were doing this. They were very punctual and everything went well. I haven't seen any ants since they were here.
