I purchased and Angie's List Big Deal: $99 for a Gas Log Fireplace Tune-Up, Cleaning, and Inspection. Very well. Chris arrived on time, was very courteous and clean, and finished the job in an hour. He was super friendly too.

They were great. Everything went well. He was available early and he called to ask if it was okay if he came early, and it was which made things actually much more convenient for us. He is very friendly with my two very curious daughters who want to talk to him all the time. He slips paper booties on over his shoes which I really appreciate because we do not wear shoes in the house and I do not like asking people to take them off. He is very courteous, does a great job, and on time. We did not pay more than the big deal. Something was wrong with the fireplace which I knew, and he got a quote for me with how much it would cost to fix it. That quote is more than I am able to pay right now. So right now, I am getting another quote. I trust that he is mind. I just cannot pay it right now.

They responded quickly and explained the situation, they were very professional and pleasant and informative.

My connection to the city's sewer line was not flowing well. Jared came within a few days and did the job. He was friendly and efficient. He left the area as clean as it was before (maybe an easy task as it was in an unfinished basement).

It was good. I did not pay for additional charges. Everything was fine and there were no problems at all. It was professionally done.

This is our first time using Angie's list and what a horrible experience. The provider tried to fleece us for a lot of money. The provider could have either spent 5 mins cleaning the flame sensor or at least been honest with us. We will never use this Titan Plumbing at Tewksbury again No wonder they got a B for their reviews. We should considered the reviews of other people before we called this provider. We should have never called Titan. If anybody needs HVAC service, please DO NOT CALL THEM. In fact Angie's List should not keep such provider in their system. Very disappointed with our first experience using Angie's List.

Arrived at as need time. Phoned ahead of traffic relay. Kind courtious man. Clean and efficiant.

Right on time and did the job efficiently, answered all questions and clarified concerns.

Jared called ahead, was on time, showed me the video, explained the issues as video showed the roots and let me cry on his shoulder. He explained options I had to prune to avoid a disaster.

We hired TP&H following a "big deal" to clean our two gas fireplaces. They were super easy to communicate with and schedule, and Chris totally got bonus points when he walked in with his own "booties" to put over his shoes. We have a shoe free house and keep booties on hand to give out, because it's very rare that someone actually brings them along. He did!!! Anyhow, he did a beautiful job with our two gas fireplaces, and one of them actually seems to be giving out like twice the heat now - we had to turn the flame down! So, overall, we're really happy with the service! Chris clearly knew what he's doing, was very courteous, and we would not hesitate for a second to hire him again. He also was very honest, didn't try to sell us anything extra (on another big deal I bought, in the first email they sent there was already a list of extras asking what else I would like to purchase - no thanks!), and was just overall really pleasant. I gave the price a B because frankly I don't know what is a reasonable price for this service - it's the first time we've had it done. It took about 30-40 min per fireplace, and $99. I think most plumbers charge that for an hour, but then again he came just for that, and so it's probably reasonable. Bottom line - we recommend Chris and added his business to our list of "favorites".

Anthony was great. We just moved into our house and had trouble with the fireplace and he got the pilot lite, cleared out the unit and showed us hot to use it properly. Easy and solid experience.

Chris came, explained the problem and why it was happening. He took his time and observed carefully, to be sure that he knew exactly what the issue is (not while on the clock). Once we had decided on a plan Chris worked efficiently and neatly. The new pipes look great, and we haven't had any problems. Great company, great job!

The plumbers arrived on time and even helped me to get a shelf out of the way to open the cleanout. I watched the camera investigatioon of my pipe with him and he was knowledgeable and gave helpful tips for our planned renovation project.

It went very well, the technician arrived early at my request, performed the job well & completed it with the time needed.

The scheduling was not very smooth but they did show up on the modified date and time. The repetitiveness of the technician exclaiming how "old" the house and gas log set were (beginning as soon as he stepped in the door immediately red flagged this visit as a bait and switch). The "old" house and "old log" theme continued through the hour or so the technician was here. (btw, the house was built in 1997 - hardly old at 16, although maybe he was in 1st grade then so old to him??) He started by telling me that inspecting the fireplace for non-working was not part of the $99 deal I purchased although the voucher is for $99 gas log fireplace tune up, cleaning and inspection. After ho humming about the age and probable inability to get parts, the "waste of money" having a fireplace that isn't an insert (eww), the many reasons I should get an insert installed, and "educating" me on the benefits of getting a new insert so it could heat the room....(brilliant - heat the room which contains the thermostat for the entire upper floor of the house with an insert fireplace so that the thermostat reads high and everyone else freezes - yup) the technician handed me a review form for the visit before he began work and pressured me non-stop to fill it out while he was standing there - because " people forget and don't do it after" . He finally took everything out, cleaned the logs and glass and told me that the reason the fireplace wouldn't work was that the "power pile" was old and needed to be replaced. He replaced it (happened to have one of those old types on the truck I guess), charged me an additional $258.00 for that, and it still didn't light. He told me he would check to see if those "old" valves were still available and would call with a price in a couple of days...that was almost a full month ago. Again I got the pressure to fill out the review while I wrote the check. I did it against my wishes and I guess since it wasn't a great review (although I was nicer than I wanted to be since he was standing there over my shoulder) it never appeared on Angies list. The best thing about the visit was that he brought a dropcloth and didn't dirty my carpets. The worst thing was the waste of $357.00 for a fireplace which ignites every 10 or so times just like before and too much of my time listening to all the pushy sales tactics for stuff I don't want and trying to sell me on making them my "regular plumber" for "all the other things I must need fixed" seriously?!?

Cleaned and changed out some parts but unit still does not work. Tech says it needs more parts.

Chris showed up on time after calling to confirm. He respectfully put on footies as to not track snow through house. He was very professional and had good expertise. He communicated well and completed the job at quoted price.
