It took forever to wait for a response. By the time, they call back with a appointment, my big deal coupon has expired.

Their prices for their services seem to be cheaper than others. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Scheduling went fantastic and easy. They were flexible with our schedules and they showed up on time for the appointment.

Very easy to set up, and the technician was skilled and knowledgeable. He advised me of potential areas needing repairs but no strong upsell pressure. I would definitely use them again.

Professional and courteous.

They didn't do anything! My money was refunded. Essentially, it was a pep talk to convince me to convert my oil heat to gas heat, a $16k project. They said my system was too old for them to tune up, and I might as well convert to gas with a dandy new system from them.

Very professional and efficient. The technician also brought to my attention work that would need to be done on my furnace within the next couple of years.

We initially called about having our furnace (6 years old) cleaned/serviced and when the guy from Sila came he told us how the last people that serviced it had used parts that don't really go with the burner we had (new and very complicated). We ended up having more work than expected but felt very confident with the man who came and his knowledge of heating systems. We expect to NOT have problems going forward and will continue to use Sila Heating and A/C.

The guy showed up, said he completed the water heater flush and was gone in ten minutes. I had a contractor coming out that morning for something else and he said the sewer pipe cap was off and that waste was starting to back up. If he had not been there that day and made emergency repairs, there would have been a severe health problem as well as a huge bill.|I want my money back.

I contacted Sila about installing a new furnace. They came out and explained my options and were able to schedule the installation for a couple of days later since I was without a functioning furnace in the interim. There was a bit of confusion initially about which furnaces qualified for the energy rebates, etc, but it all got sorted out. The workmen were at my house from about 7am until about 6pm. They got everything done and it works great. Overall, a very good experience.

Punctual, professional and reliable.

To my shock, when they left, they'd attached significantly sized bright adhesive stickers advertising their company to the furnace, a/c, and water heater. Even more unpleasant was their estimate of $1084 for replacements needed (igniter motor & assembly, igniter, and flame sensor). Instantly suspicious, I called in the trusted HVAC person I should have called in the first place, who quickly determined that NONE of this work was necessary. This is outrageous behavior by Sila. Angie's List patrons should avoid them completely.

Great service and no issues.

I used the big deal for cleaning up a gas furnace in one of my rental homes. The tenant stated they were prompt and clean. I probably would buy another deal with Sila.

I purchased the discounted furnace check up coupon. I wasn't present for the service call as it was for my tenants unit but as far as I know the rep, Steve Tresca I believe, was there on time and did the system check up quickly and gave a couple of pointers to the tenants. They were satisfied that it went well. I would use them again.

SILA was excellent. The technician knew his job well. He was prompt, very pleasant, and kept me informed of what he was doing and why. He took the time to explain to me how different parts of the boiler were supposed to work, and he showed me what was wrong with several key parts. He also checked everything to be sure there were no other issues. One part had to be ordered, so a return trip was required. SILA called me promptly to schedule that and sent the same technician which was very helpful. I am toasty warm and the system is working just fine now. Very happy with this service!

The service was fine. It was great actually. There were no problems. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. I have no complaints about them.

Salesman came within 2 hours and quoted 3 different options at very high prices. Called a local HVAC person, they arrived later the same afternoon, said unit was still fine, needed to replace burners and clean / adjust for 475$ vs. Sila estimates of 8000$ for a new furnace , 15,000$ to replace furnace and the A/C coil and A/C unit as they recomended. This Angies list deal is an obvious ploy by Sila to pressure peole to buy overpriced and not needed new units. Rate them poorly for this bait and switch. Looked at reviews and started to find similar reviews on this but when first reviewing Sila, who seems to get all A's, but upon closer inspection of reviews this is happening to other people. Wonder how may people wer scared into purchasing overprice replacements with scare tactics of Sila. Recomend getting other opinions/ estimates on the safety and integretity of your heating system and do not rely on the single option of Sila.

It was good. It saved me money on the service I needed. I was very pleased with the service and the communication. Everything was great.

The job was done and I was happy with that. There was a little hang up with my toilet seat in my bathrom. It actually got broken by the technician while they were here. They did replace it quickly and were apologetic. I thought I was going to have to pay to get a replacement, but they covered it. I would hire them again and purchase another deal.

It was a big deal purchase. The man that promised to come and service it did not really turn out great. It turned out it was a bigger problem and he did not have the part on his truck and he tried to convince me that the entire unit was broken and I would need a new boiler. I got somebody else to look at it and for $175 he had the part on the truck and it is working just fine. He was quite flexible regarding when he could come out.

It was all excellent. All the different things and online I checked was excellent.

I have used Sila many times now and have no regrets from switching to them. They are extremely professional, timely and communicative. They offer suggestions for a better system without any pressure. If you get a special on their mailing for routine maintenance they are price competitive and I think their service expertise is the best of several that I have used in the area.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company. I felt the price was right, and the guy that came had four years of experience, I was hoping somebody with a little bit more experience would have come. But it was fine. He had to call his shop because he wasn't sure about a couple things. My system required anti-freeze and he didn't have experience with that so he had to call in. I used the coupon within a few weeks of purchasing the coupon. He found several things and he was going to charge me when the other guy who had more experience was coming, much more. I called my own person in and found that in fact I didn't need everything that they first thought I was going to need. My guys was one third of the cost and I didn't need half of what this guy said I needed.

they came as scheduled , but said that couldn't do much to tune-up my system , becouse there is so many problems . Best if I replace the whole thing for 9 k dollars , or change some components for 3.5 k . I got scared , called another contractor for second opinion , it turned out it need 175 dol worth of work and it is all tune-up and ready for the season .
