Sila performed a furnace tune-up and PM service. They were in an Angie's List coupon program. |I have used their services several times and have always been pleased with their work.

I bought the hot water heater deal back in September, but just got around to calling Sila to arrange the work. They were on time, removed the existing (almost 20 year old) one, and installed the new one. Whole process took less than two hours. Definitely worth it.

When Peter showed up he was very courteous and professional. I had some questions before he went to work since this type of system is new to me . He answered my questions to my satisfaction. He went straight to work. He made some recommendations but did not find any problems with the system. He showed up a little late, I give him the fact the weather was bad that morning. I called the office when the specific appointment time went by and was told a previous service call took more time the expected. I would have like a call from the office explaining they would be late or they should make there appointments a range of time.

Sila failed to show for the first appointment--annual maintenance of our furnace-- after we waited for half-a-day despite email confirmation of the visit date and time. They then claimed that they had lost the record. We rescheduled for the following week and the serviceman who performed the inspection was thorough and courteous. However, he stated that we needed to replace our furnace. In "compensation" for their mistake in not showing up for the first appointment the serviceman stated that Sila would give us a free estimate for a new furnace. However, they did not fulfill this promise either.

Excellent!! Sila has now performed repairs to my boiler heating system as well as replaced my hot water heater In all, Sila has provided services on 3 occasions. All service people have been extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous They have all been immaculately on time and have stayed as long as necessary to fully complete the job At no time did I feel they rushed to get to another job or that even another customer might be on their minds, they gave me full and complete attention and highly satisfactory interaction I will surely use Sila for service again in the future and highly recommend

The Sila technicians were very polite and professional. Due to the age of my furnace they could not do the service requested. I would recommend them to other home owners.

Communication was stellar throughout the process. It took a couple of weeks to get part, Sila determined that it was still under warranty so we just paid for the labor. Everyone was courteous and knowledgeable. It got cold! They made sure to get the heat running as soon as possible. Follow up afterwards was excellent too. We were assisted with filling out proper rebate forms. I haven't had a good experience like this in as far back as I can remember. I'm warmed by the experience!

They came earlier than expected and the dispatch let us know. very responsive, good communication all around. Super fast. Now the bad, parts that they installed didn't work. The technician was able to get the furnace running, but it never worked for more than a day. The technicians, came out two more times and tried different fixes to no avail. We ended using Central cooling and heating instead and this cost me an additional 750 dollars. They installed the correct parts and now my furnace turns on like a charm every time. I am upset that Sila let us spend $1200 and couldn't do that job. Buyer beware!

I got to work with John and Bobby. They came, they saw, they stuck a little flexible looking device inside my water heater. And they found a bunch of issues: a relief valve that was completely calcified shut, a shut off valve that was looking green, and a tank lined with more junk than is healthy. The thing I really liked about them is that they prioritized the fixes for me. There was a list of "must fix now", "nice to add now, unless you plan to replace the whole thing later", and "here's what a complete replacement would look like." They made a good impression and worked quickly. ------ The B for punctuality is because they had to reschedule my original appointment. They hit their window on the rescheduled day.

This was the first time I've used Sila and I will be using them again for my furnace and air conditioning. The technician was professional. friendly and answered all of my questions. He adjusted the thermostat on my furnace which was set too high and because of this I was having problems with my unit. Such a simple solution, yet nobody else had pointed this out to me.

They informed me that the heater needed to be replaced so the cleaning never took place. They sent out someone to give me an estimate for a new heater, when he came out he only stayed for a couple minutes. He said that he had another appointment and didn't have time to give me an estimate but would have someone else sent out. I never heard anything back from them at all and ended up using another company.

Oil boiler clean and tune. Company had to cancel and reschedule my appointment making my total wait time about a month. Upon arrival the technician was very polite an informative. He found an issue with the psi levels and quoted me around $600 for repairs. I declined and had my usual company repair for about $290. The technician was very helpful and used the cover ups on his shoes when entering the house however I don't think I would use again since they are far from my house and $80 service fee would apply for any visit.

I had one vent with poor air exchange. The technician said initially there was nothing he could do about it. Then he said it would make sense to make an adjustment. Then he started to leave without making the adjustment. I asked him to return to appropriately adjust but there was no improvement.

They came when they said they would, they performed the maintenance check on both systems, changing filters as needed. Went smoothly. Gave us a sense of the overall condition and life expectancy of both systems. We used a coupon for one of the systems.

Tune up on air conditioning. My ac has been working fine since I started using them.

Cleaned Furnace. Everything went well.
