David Robertson has been my automotive specialist since 2000. I have 2 sons, a boyfriend and a mother who also go to Robertson's Auto Service. I started out with a 1994 Ford Thunderbird, then a 1999 Dodge Durango and now my 2007 Infiniti FX35. My sons: a 1986 Chevy Camaro, 2004 Dodge Dakota and 2002 Lincoln LS. My mother: a Mercury Sable and Chevy Trailblazer. My boyfriend: a Jeep Cherokee. I only mention these to illustrate not only the number of our vehicles David has taken care of but also the obvious repeat business. We have had, collectively, replacements of one engine, water pumps, radiators, brakes, tires, exhaust systems and catalytic converters, radiators flushed, varieties of gaskets redone, oil leaks plugged, spark plugs changed, batteries installed and countless oil changes. When I met David, I was a single mother with 2 young boys. I had just moved to North Attleboro and didn't know squat about car repairs when the engine in my Thunderbird quit. It would have been very easy for a mechanic to take advantage of the situation. David took care of me and I will never forget that. What he told me at the time was that he always goes into a job with the mindset of "What would I do if this were my and gt;insert family member hereand lt;'s car?" His prices are ridiculously fair and reasonable. He never "pads" a bill. Actually, he seems more upset when a job ends up being an expensive one (rightfully so) than I do. He never does anything without calling me first and I always say the exact same thing when he does..."I trust you David, do what you gotta do". I am always happy with the work he does. In fact, I actually feel safer driving after he has worked on one of our vehicles. When the garage that David was working for moved back in 2007 - they went through a transition during which they were shut down. When they reopened, David no longer worked there. I found out it was because he was opening his own shop and I HUNTED HIM DOWN LIKE A DOG!!! THAT'S HOW GOOD HE IS!! As long as he is in business I will NEVER go anywhere else.
