"Thank you for the positive review Mr [Member Name Removed]. Thank you for choosing Trendy Repeats."
"What Mrs [Member Name Removed] has said is mostly correct. However, let me complete the story. Mrs [Member Name Removed] brought clothing to us for consignment a few times in early 2016. She always used her earnings as store credit to purchase other items in the store. The problem began when she checked her account on our website. Our website allows consignors to view their balance. This is a feature unique to our store. Mrs [Member Name Removed] discovered she had a negative balance of -$10. She submitted an inquiry about her negative balance through the website. This initial message wasn't delivered to store management because she had incorrectly placed her mailing address in the email address field. Spam email filters blocked that email because of that error. After not receiving a response the following business day, Mrs [Member Name Removed] submitted another email inquiry. She correctly entered her email address into the form allowing the email to be delivered. After reading her message a prompt answer was sent explaining that the $10 fee was due to the steaming required to remove the wrinkles from her clothing. Before this date, she had been asked several times to bring in clothing that had been freshly laundered and NOT heavily wrinkled. She repeatedly refused. You can see by the policies on our website that we disclose the steaming fee in writing to EVERY consignor. Mrs [Member Name Removed] agreed to these policies. Each person consigning is required to acknowledge the existence of this fee and our other store policies. We do business as honestly as possible even when it means more work for us. Mrs [Member Name Removed] chose to NOT follow policies even with several warnings which have all been documented. We maintain a thorough account of each visit from our consignors. Steaming clothing isn't something we do because it's a load of fun. It requires a lot man-hours of labor. It may not look hard but after you've steamed hundreds of pieces of clothing for hours on end it truly becomes "labor intensive". In order to get a reasonable price out of used clothing they need to be presentable. Quality means a lot! We ask our consignors "Would you buy that clothing dirty or wrinkled?" Come to our store anytime and there's a pretty good chance you'll see an employee steaming clothing. In summary... Did we charge Mrs [Member Name Removed] a steaming fee. Yes. After several warnings were given for which she chose to ignore. Did we close Mrs [Member Name Removed]'s account? Absolutely. After Mrs [Member Name Removed] was told of the steaming fee charged to her account she began a smear campaign. the review here is just one that she left in many online venues. She continues to spread her "story" to this day (Feb 2017) hoping she'll convince someone that we are "CROOKS". In 2016, we had to get the county attorney involved to stop the harassment. Mrs [Member Name Removed] is not allowed in our store or to have contact with us. Mrs [Member Name Removed] is far from the ideal customer. We fired her as a customer for good reason."
