A New Rooftime

Well I can't say enough great things about A New Rooftime!!! From the initial call for an appt and price quote til they completed the job today everyone was courteous, timely and professional. I have to give a huge shout out to Justin for the exceptional job he did of managing the project for us from beginning to end. I have a Cape Cod style house and have struggled for the past 19 years with the heat build up on the upstair floor. When he came about the estimate, he suggested a solar vent to help alleviate the heat. He gave me an estimate as I had requested but I also ask if they would install one if I found another that I liked better. I did quite a bit of research and did find one that I liked and they took care of it with no problems. I also wanted a color that was not really found in this area and Justin worked to locate the color to try and get what I wanted. Unfortunately no matter how much they tried, it wasn't possible to get but just the effort that they put in trying to accomodate my request was amazing!! I also want to say that the roofing crew was also great. Tim, thanks for a crew that was courteous and although this sounds old fashion....polite and respectful. I know it is far from an easy job and we really appreciated how they acted and the job they did.

I thought they were very friendly to deal with and their pricing was very reasonable. They were very knowledgeable as well.

The company came out and performed the estimate. They were polite, professional and on time.

It didn't go well. I found this company on Angie's List and thought since they had so many good reviews that I would choose them first. I needed an estimate on a roof that I was purchasing and being in the small window of days to do inspections, I needed someone fast. He was able to go to the property the next day which was great. The problems came after that. I asked him to call several times so we could speak in detail over the phone instead of sending emails back and forth between myself and his secretary. I wanted to speak to him personally to understand the remediation he was advising since it was a flat roof and a sealant I had never heard of before. We needed his finding in writing to evidence to the seller his suggestion. We received the images the next day but then it took another 2 days to get the estimate in writing. The estimate only listed the items for the repair, it was missing the important piece of information which was his findings in writing. We needed to justify these repairs to the seller to explain the cost of the estimate. to this day, I still haven't gotten that from him. I'm most disappointed because I wished he had just said up front that he was too busy. He wasted 4 days of my precious 10 day inspection period. I found another roofer, Integrity 1st, from Angie's list and he came right out and provided what he said he would provide within 24 hrs. Communication is key. It was very lacking. He may be a good roofer but he was not a good communicator.

They came out and I believe did the work. I was not home when they did the install. I was supposed to receive a picture of the fan to show the work completed but I still haven’t received the photo.

Estimator called at our meeting time to say he would be late. Arrived about 30 minutes later. Didn't bring a long enough ladder to get on the roof, 1 1/2 stories above the ground. He was going to return later in the day to inspect the roof, then email a proposal. I never received a proposal or any other communication.

The roof replacement process went fast and very smoothly. Miss Mona was prompt in sending and replying to emails about scheduling the work. I was very impressed with how responsive the workmen were when I had questions. And they cleaned up every day they workked - you couldn't have know a roofing job was going on unless you saw the shingles. Their estimator made a great recommendation on color. I can't believe how much better the house looks, and for a price much better than I ever imagined!

We had purchased an Angie Big Deal for the roof and the company came out to review the property, before we committed, to ensure that it would be a good deal for us. The company was prompt and responsive with all of our questions. The installation of the roof was mutually scheduled , and the crew arrived on time and ready to work. Prior to the roof installation, Dale met with us to review colors, gutters, and he reviewed the process, what we could expect and how long it would take. This company does not use high pressure techniques, or try to sell you what you don't need. We did purchase an upgrade on the underlayment, which they recommended. They sent us the information about the underlayment and the additional cost. When they installed this underlayment, it rained heavily that night, and this was before the roof was in place, and not a drop of water penetrated this cover. The roof was completed on the second day, we were kept informed of the progress and was advised when they found a couple of bad boards. The boards were promptly replaced at a fair cost. I liked that they threw all the old roofing off the back of the house, which kept the front of the house looking neater. They didn't leave any trash, nails, or building products when the job was finished. The company did an excellent job, the workers were courteous, prompt and efficient. This was a good value for what we received!

A New Rooftime was fine. We were having problems with one of our bathtub not draining. When the guys went up on the roof, they found out that the vent hadn't really been opened. They took care of that. They said the roof is fine.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. They were very professional and I was happy with their service.

They were quick and came out and worked on a Sunday. A month later, we started having a leak, they inspected the roof said some of the flashing came up and repaired it no charge and no questions asked.

The guy was extremely nice and professional, but he was supposed to get back to us with a report which we never received. Then he was going to give us an estimate on putting some solar fans in and we never received that. Therefore, we're somewhat disappointed. He seemed to do a good job with the inspection; it's just that there were no follow-through. We wanted to do additional things with the company, but he never got back with us even though we try to contact him.

I purchased a Big deal for A New Rooftime. They inspected the roof and repaired some loose tiles and cleaned the gutters. They did a very good job. They gave us some recommendations on the roof.

Everything was fine with them. The only thing that I did not like is that after completing the job they were not able to come back to take payment on scheduled date and arrived unexpectedly.

They were fantastic and did a fantastic job. I would have had this job done sooner, but due to the weather conditions they were unable to reach my house because of the snow. They did come out, but they couldn't even get in the driveway so I decided to wait until the snow melted. A vent had come off the roof that a previous provider just put back on, but I was unaware that he did it incorrectly. A New Rooftime took a couple of pictures and you could see the sky through a large hole. They fixed that for me and put the vent back on properly. I had this hole in my roof for the entire winter and they really saved me from any further damage.

The service turned out great. I had a few leaks in the beginning but they came right out and fixed them. They were recommended to me by another Angie’s List member.

They were fine. They had actually noticed that they had put in the roof that we have on our house now and told me how old it was, so that was helpful. They put in couple of solar fans for our vents and our front room is much warmer. They were efficient and did it within four hours.

They came out and assessed the situation. Had to order part and returned a few days later to complete the job

this was angies deal at 6449.00.$150 was added to repair the chimney and$300was added trim.but this was the low bid.thework went will and the clean was good.

It was great, I actually missed the appointment, but they went ahead and did the work needed, including some additional work they deemed necessary.They even offered to negotiate the price for the additional work that wasn't discussed, but I felt no need to do so.

He came out the first time when I wasn't home and didn't leave a receipt or invoice for what work he had done, I just receieved a message from the company saying that he was there and that the issue was fixed. The roof leaked again so I had him come out again. I wasn't home this time either so he came and looked at it and told my mother that it was a plumbing issue and that I needed a plumber. UPDATE 5/29/2013: He was really good at explaining why work couldnt be completed and extended his services afterward. Even after giving the grade I previously did, he still offered further services to me. An agreement was reached and I feel like things are being taken care of. He even told me what I should do about the problem I have and who I should contact, recommending me to another service provider and I appreciated that.

Very professional and did work in timely manner.

Overall I am very happy. I was easy to quickly schedule the date of the work to be done. They arrived on the scheduled day and took 2 days to remove old roof and install the new one. They did half of the roof each day, They were very good about cleaning everything up each day and all workers I encountered were very courteous.

It went very well. They had to delay the project once because of rain. But the project was only delayed by 2 days. They completed the project in 2 days. They did an excellent job in cleaning up all the debris around the entire house.
