Description of Work: We used The Gardener for a landscaping project--consultation and execution. They were punctual, professional and stayed very near to the budget. The follow-up communication was, and continues to be, excellent. We will very likely work with them again.

Description of Work: He came out once months ago to look at my yard and never returned, contacted me, or offered to refund my money. He mentioned that he was swamped before he came out the one time. I haven't seen or heard from him since, so I ended up having a friend do the work instead.

Description of Work: Large rocks were added to coordinate with the area. A small tree was moved to a better location, Extra soil was brought in to build up the area, and bushes and flowers were planted. Some bushes were trimmed. The work was completed as agreed upon and in a timely manner. Workers were friendly and polite.

Description of Work: I sent in one before and you keep asking. |This was a bad deal. Man showed up, said he would come back with a plan. It didn't happen. All he wanted to know was what I wanted to spend, he offered no suggestions, I should get my money back.

Description of Work: Purchase was for written proposal of landscaping work which we wanted done to block highway sounds. He gave verbal recommendation to plant a row of trees across the middle of our lot, dividing the lot into 2 parts, making half the yard not accessible. He told us we could not plant in back of lot due to dip in lot and water drainage issue. We have lived here 8 years and never had a water drainage issue. We told the gardener we were not ready to commit to his price of upwards of $8000 for planting trees. He laughed. He did not provide written plan, which is what I thought we had paid for. We live in established residential area. Maybe he is used to working with new construction or higher budgets. He did tell us verbally what he would do - plant a row of trees.

Description of Work: He still has not come out. I was told that he does not come to my area very often and that he wouldn't be back for a while and that he'd call me when he was. Have not heard anything. Disappointed, waste of $50! Still waiting.

Description of Work: We purchased a deal for outdoor space consultation and design with the hope that it would be a good and reasonable plan and we would hire Mark to complete the job. The entire process was a struggle from the beginning. He doesn't like to communicate via email or Angie's list so setting the appointment was a struggle. After the appointment we were told the plans would be ready in 10 days but we never received a call. I had to contact him again and he hadn't even started on our plans. After two more follow up calls we finally agreed to a meeting time to review. The plans were VERY basic and not what we were expecting. The price was high and not firm, at least 4 times he told us it could be higher. Based on the entire experience I didn't trust that he would complete the job and didn't trust the estimate. We opted not to hire him for the job. I feel like we wasted $50 on the consultation as well as lots of our time in the evenings. I would not recommend using his services for any job.

Description of Work: They have been very busy, so it took a few weeks before they were able to come out and provide us ideas on what they could do from a landscaping stand point. We are waiting for their estimate at this time.

Description of Work: The Gardener or as his card says KCscapes came out the second week in April told me he would have plans ready in 3 weeks. I contacted him this week, 3 1/2 weeks later and he advised he had not even been out to measure yet that it would be a minimum 2 more weeks. Had I know it would take this long I would have never purchased in the first place. Wish I could just get a refund at this point. I believe he has completely overbooked himself.
