The night guard or the bite splint that he made for me was amazing.

I would recommend him to others. He has got a very wide based experience. He actually fixed a dental problem that I had had for a couple of decades that other dentists were not able to diagnose. He is very professional.

I think he is quite skillful. I am satisfied with the services provided. They are awful expensive, but they are also good about billing. We have never had a billing problem.

After I got his price for work I went somewhere else and got worked on by someone else for much much less money

Saw Doctor Otten for years. He is a perfectionist, but I think he goes overboard and is VERY VERY EXPENSIVE.

We really appreciate the feedback and comments from Member and others we have the opportunity to serve. We feel disappointed we could not help Member find value in what we proposed but are glad he feels comfortable with the care he has received. Our practice is based on the belief that if we individualize care to the unique needs and desires of each person, the outcomes will be profoundly better and provide more long term results that result in far more substantial savings. We also realize that this model is far different than a fast paced, high volume, low personal contact practice model. We have many years experience and thousands of patient results that prove this. I have no doubt that if someone is just comparing the price of procedures rather than the long term value of a dedicated team who are committed to excellence (which is quite different than unachievable perfection) and can promise great outcomes, care will seem "cheaper". The question is, how less expensive will it be to replace it prematurely? What anyone can count on when they visit us is that they will experience a caring team dedicated to helping them choose the level of care they want for themselves, find the best solutions for their long term health and receive the best quality care we know how to give. He is an excellent Dentist. He's really expensive, but he is really, really good. He's extremely good for what he does. If you need the kind of work he does, he is the best in the city of Lawrence.
Description of Work
I went to him for a splint adjustment. I have TMJ and I wear a mouth guard at night called a splint. So he brings me into see how I am doing with that. He's an expert in that.
