Larry was the service man and he was on time, cleaned up when he was through and acted very knowledgeable and professional. Brian was very helpful on the phone from the office, he responded timely to every request.

We called to request an estimate. They set a time to visit. They never showed up at the scheduled time and we haven't heard anything from them since we originally scheduled the appointment. We hired someone else.

Mr. Ashpaugh missed our first appointment for the estimate, but apologized and quickly rescheduled at our convenience. He took notes and offered suggestions for what we wanted done. Offered a quick and reasonable estimate for the work. The electrician was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. The line he ran for the outdoor receptacle required him to remove and replace some pavers, and work around flower beds -- which he did so carefully that we could not tell the work had been done. We were pleased enough that we plan on having them back to install some new ceiling light fixtures.

I found the techs that came out to be professional. They were quite quiet, though. All in all, no complaints. They did the job I requested with little mess. I appreciated their assistance. We would definitely hire again.

Our experience was mixed. The company quickly responded to our phone call, gave us a reasonable estimate, and set up a day and time to do the work that was convenient and prompt. That was all very good, but the workers arrived at 7:30 a.m., as opposed to the agreed upon 8:00 a.m. After one of the fans had been installed, it made a loud clicking sound. The installer told us that it was a problem with the fan, and there was nothing he could do about it. We did buy and supply the fans to be installed, so perhaps he had a right to say that, but it wasn't very helpful. We ended up taking out the fan, returning it, and installing another one ourselves.

Extremely happy with both the proposal stage and the work performed. The company did not try to sell me unnecessary services and most importantly, they tried to do what was best and most economical for me in the long-run. They actually came to look at my situation, assessed what was possible, and gave me realistic options. Another company recommended another circuit breaker before working on the additional outlet and they didn't even open the panel!! They also tried to take the easy way out as far as the work to be performed. Not Ashpaugh. They did it right. We'll definitely use them in the future and recommend them to friends an family. These guys were professional, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves very well.

They spent very little time assessing the job before telling me that the only way to run the line was by burying a line outside. This proved to be totally false! Then they provided me with a very high quote and said that their boss would call me to set up a time for the job. No one ever called which was lucky for me because I probably would have went with them. Another company eventually ran a line through the walls of the house at half the price.

Excellent service and company/customer relations. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Brian was EXTREMELY courteous and polite. He came dressed in a sportscoat and tie to bid the project. I was uncomfortable when he handed me his business card with a religious symbol and bible verse on it. I know this is simply my issue. However, I want others to be aware of this in case they have the same issue of concern that I do. Some service providers use such things to impress and market their business. I am not claiming that this is Ashpaugh's intentions. However, I feel it is unprofessional. I am fully aware that some individuals might prefer to do business with such providers. Thank you for this opportunity to voice my concerns and help make others aware of this.

For the life of me, I dont know how this company has such a high rating. Mr. Ashpaugh made a very poor first impression with his unkempt appearance and missing teeth. More importantly, he did not seem to know about or offer us halogen lighting for under the kitchen cabinets. Instead, he told us we ONLY had a choice between canned lighting or florescent, and couldnt have a dimmer switch. As we discussed logistics of job, it appeared that we, as the customer had to be the ones coming up with all the solutions. As the professional, it is my expectation that he would have all the answers. Also thought the estimate of $2000 was way out of line for installing additional lighting in a kitchen.

I called this morning and they came within an hour. They fixed everything we needed and we are very satisfied.

Technician did the work requested and commented that fitted breakers were oversize for the wire gauge used and therefore should be replaced. I agreed to have them replaced. Job was requested one day and completed the next.

I was amazed that I could get an electrician from Ashpaugh the day after I called for an appointment! Although I didnt like the fact that I couldnt get an estimate. I was given a window of 8:00-12:00 that an electrician would be here to address 6 lights that were being changed or repaired. I had asked yesterday if I could get a more narrow window this morning. I was told theyd call before they came. I waited 3 hours and 20 minutes, then got a call to say they were running behind and that someone would be here at 12:30. I had already given my entire morning and couldnt afford to give my afternoon as well (6 light problems would not be a quick fix). The people were very polite and apologetic, but I was disappointed that I couldnt have gotten a call much sooner than that. I wondered if there would be any compensation offered for my time and wait, if so, I might have considered still using them, but since there was none, Im trying another electric company.

They did a good job. I considered the price as being appropriate as he worked all day, with no lag. Everything was done very neatly and when he was done he cleaned up after himself.

Electrician was punctual, courteous and knowledgeable. Although we are new customers, we received service within a few days of calling for the first time. We will definitely use this company again.
