I was overwhelmed at the result. Diana listened to what I wanted & gave me the perfect color & cut. Everyone I know loves it.

Stylist had no idea how to handle curly hair. This is the worst cut I have ever had. I had long middle of the back curly hair. The only reason I chose this salon is because of claims that its a great p;ace for curly haired women. My hair is so short in the back its ridiculous and angles down in the front much longer. I have always had so many compliments on my hair and this time everyone wants to know what in the world happened. All I can do is pull it into a short ponytail and wait for it to grow. I will never understand why stylists will not listen to their clients. As a general rule we do know what works for our hair. I guess Ill continue driving over an hour to the only person who comes close to giving me a style that works. Other than that the lady at the front counter was very nice once she got off the phone to help my stylist find the shampoo I asked for.

It was fantastic. My stylist Kristen was excellent. She was very enjoyable to talk with and be around, she knew what she was doing. And my hair cut came out great. I would highly recommend this shop--the fact that it's local single owner is huge for me as well. They do a great job.

I purchased a deal for cut, blow dry and style for $30.00. The stylist cut my hair nicely, and I liked that. However, I have curly hair and she styled it curly, without asking me if I wanted it that way. When I asked her to blow dry my hair and style it straight, she told me twice that she'd rather not do that. Afterwards, she agreed to dry my hair straight, and proceeded to dry my hair, (using her hands to straighten it!!) and then, iron it afterwards. I was expecting her to dry it with a brush. The texture in my hair after having the iron was really off, and I did not like it one bit. On top of that, when I went to the register, I was told that I owed $25.00 in addition to the deal, because the texture of my hair was "more difficult". This was NOT on the exclusion list on the deal, and I was very upset with the extra charge. I had a couple of friends waiting to know all about my experience with this salon, and they were expecting to bring them business, but now they won't. I will not go back to this place; very disappointed.

It was great! I made a last minute appointment so that I would look good for an important interview. They got me right in and made me look fabulous!

This was my first time going to this salon so i was pretty apprehensive about letting a stranger do my hair but i was desperate .. Heather was my stylist and she was awesome! She asked me exactly what i wanted done and between the 2 of us we figured out what would work the best with all the dead ends i had. she trimmed off about 2 inches and curled it beautifully afterwards. I would 100% go to Heather again for any future hair needs. I'm actually buying my mom the same Big Deal i bought so she can go to Heather too. Highly recommend her!!

I went there because I wanted a place that would cost less. I had been going to another place for some time and I hadn't been satisfied so I looked and looked until I got them. I've been happy with them since. Its a nice salon with nice people and I like them.

They are very nice and I like the style that I got. I was seeking out for somebody who had that and it's called the Devacurl training for people with naturally curly hair. There is a program for that and so, I have been been very pleased and they are very nice, they get you in time and offer you non-alcoholic drinks and even they are very considerate and the stylist I have is very nice and gentle working on your hair. They have specific products but they are pricey. The products helps so that your hair don't get frizz. They cut your hair a bit differently, they cut your hair dry rather than wet. They greet you when you enter, I was very pleased.

They’re great when they color my hair, around the frame of my face and temples they make the strength of the solution stronger so that it will last longer.

I have had the same hairdresser (and salon) for more than 20 years. Lately, I have felt it might be time to try someone new. A friend mentioned how much she liked DeWeese Design Salon, so I decided to give them a try. I called for an appointment to get a haircut and was able to get in the next day. The lady who answered the phone was friendly, courteous, efficient, and answered all my questions. I arrived early for my appointment and was greeted as I came in. I was told Julie Haskins would be with me shortly and invited to have a seat. I was offered coffee to drink, but declined. There were several magazines in the waiting area to enjoy while I waited. In a few moments, Julie came up and introduced herself to me and led me back to her station. She suggested where I could put my raincoat before I sat down. I explained that I was a bit apprehensive coming to a new hairdresser because I had been with one for more than 20 years, but was now ready to try something new. Julie asked some questions about how I wanted my hair to be cut and styled. She patiently and carefully (yet expertly) cut my hair, occasionally asking my preferences for specific areas. She noticed that my hair has some natural curl and wave and this assured me that Julie knew how to best work with it. I was pleased with the results. My friend had suggested that I post a picture on Facebook following the haircut, which I did - asking for opinions from all my friends. I received many, very favorable comments and "likes". My husband really likes the new "do". Even though the cost of this cut and style is almost twice what I have been paying, we feel it is well worth it. It looks as if I've found a new salon and hairdresser.

Rita (the owner) was very responsive from the start with my inquiries through Angie's List. I showed up for my appointment a few minutes late due to traffic, but my stylist Kaitlyn was also running behind (as the lady before me got a more thorough service than she usually does). Both Rita and another stylist were extremely nice to me while I was waiting and both wanted to see the pictures of what I was wanting done with my hair (a trim and wanted to go from a brown to a black/plum). When I saw Kaitlyn, I showed her my photos, as well, and she was also very kind. Kaitlyn trimmed my hair and colored both my hair and the extensions I brought in. Although I wouldn't have minded my hair to be a little more purple/vibrant, this was probably hard to achieve with the state my hair was already in. That being said, my hair still looked good and I was much happier than I was when I came in. The owner, Rita, even called the following week to see how I was still liking it. I had to inform her that my dog chewed up all my hair extensions, so I will have to purchase new ones. I told Rita that I would like my hair to be a more vibrant purple (as now it just looks like a dark brown/red/plum), so she advised that I should be lighter hair extensions in order to achieve the more vibrant plum color I am going for. All in all, I definitely recommend them!

This was, by far, the best hair cut experience I've ever had.

Services were great- we had a pricing issue with the stylist at the end on my last visit- but Rita the owner called me personally to go over everything and talk to me about it. To me, when the owner takes time out to call the client - that says more than anything! I will be returning tomorrow morning for a highlight & trim!

This was my first time to the hair salon and I found them on Angie's List. I called before my appointment and discussed color and a cut. They were able to schedule for the same day. I went in at 5pm and was seated quickly. I discussed with stylist the color I wanted and she went to mix the color. She did take a LONG time to mix the color (more than 10 minutes) but other than that she was fine. After the first color application, I didn't like the color so she processed it a second time to get the color just right. The color turned out how I wanted so she cut my hair. After the cut, she offered to style it which I declined as I was just heading home. I wish I had her style it because I didn't notice until I was home that she didn't get close enough to my roots with the color. I did feel it was a little rushed at the end as I was there until closing. Overall, I was happy with the service but a little unhappy to still see my roots after being colored. The staff were friendly and the place was very nice and clean. I would go back to the salon, I would just be sure to have my hair styled so that it would look how I wanted the way I would wear my hair.

The Stylist did a fabulous job cutting my hair. I've had severe hair loss after a very lengthy illness. The hair style looked great and helped mask the hair loss.

She is awesome. Very professional, friendly and informed of the latest trends in hair. She takes her time to discuss your needs and then is very thorough in performing & explaining her services.

My stylist was excellent and did a great job with her service. The folks working the front desk are also excellent. What matters the most to me is the work done by the stylist herself, and she was great. She is no longer at this salon. I am not giving the salon itself the highest rating because the facility and the mode of management is out of date. The plus side is that they offer Goldwell hair color, and seem to be selective about who they choose for stylists. The facility is in a strip mall and needs a thorough remodel. I have been in Hair Crafter studios that were more updated. Even the sign on the outside is broken (lights that don't work). Inside, the booths are open and the décor is full of dust. Each stylist does not have privacy or the ability to schedule their own appointments. If you want an updated salon atmosphere and the ability to communicate appointments directly with your stylist, this is not the place for you. This salon has potential if they would update their facility and management style. It is nowhere near the A+ salon rating some people give it. I am a very experienced customer and have been to a lot better facilities. I am a high tipper, and only the stylist would know that. That is why I believe the stylist is better at making my appointments.

.Mary was a very good listener. She heard my concerns and we discussed my options. Swatches were looked at for hair color choices and we agreed on a lovely caramel blond. The color was beautiful and the application did not smell or sting my scalp. Mary cut my hair in stages ( I was getting more than 3 inches taken off) until we got to just the right length. I was very pleased. Afterwards, I went to see my daughter, and she said I looked like I was in my 40's and that it was the best haircut she's seen on me in quite a while. She may even make an appointment, too. I would highly recommend this salon.

I've been going to Deweese fro years. I've always gotten outstanding service and a professionally done haircut.
