Nick was responsive to all communications and showed up when he said he would. My first impressions were that he is sincere and trustworthy. However he does not pay attention to detail when installing the flooring. When he left the first day I inspected his work and noticed gaps in some of the joints. I pointed them out to him the next day and he said he would watch that a lot closer during the rest of the installation. He did not. There are small gaps in numerous places in all our rooms. In addition some of the custom cut pieces along the edge were cut too short or not wide enough to fill the gap. Overall the job looks pretty good and the gaps are small enough that most people would not notice but they are wide enough to slip a credit card in and it will collect dust and dirt over the years.
He was the cheapest installer at $2 a square foot but It may have been raised since my installation. I liked the man personally and if you don't mind a few faults, which he may correct if you point them out early you may be satisfied with his work.
The floor looks great but I will always be bothered but the constant reminders that the job wasn't done to my satisfaction.
